Another multicooker miracle has appeared - the VES SK-A12 Multicooker (614 UAH). I ordered, on Saturday should be delivered. I have no complaints about VES. I have this company thermopot. For those interested, see here: 🔗 There are two models of them - 5 and 6 liters
Very, very interesting. We look forward to your impressions. I hope you have already prepared recipes for cooking?
And what does the coal mean? did anyone come across?
Nat_ka
Girls, I accidentally saw it yesterday and immediately ordered it. And I liked that they sent it yesterday and pay the money when receiving the parcel in the courier service. Usually I'll wait until the invoice, until I pay everything, until they send. For some reason, this is the only Internet store where they are. They appeared in Russia, but they are more expensive there.

I'm more worried about the differences from my multi Panasonic SR-TMH18 (bought for the same money a couple of years ago). I would very much like a better quality bucket. And the programs, I think, will not differ significantly.

As soon as I receive it, I promise to take a detailed photograph of everything that is and cook something unusual (not porridge)

I wanted to open a new topic right away, but I will do it tomorrow - today, with time, problems. Received it yesterday, but immediately left for the dacha. They didn't take her. We arrived - threw in a glass (from her) buckwheat and two glasses of water. It turned out to be dryish buckwheat. The problem is a lack of water (or just more buckwheat and, accordingly, water was needed) or the temperature is higher than needed or less time is needed. I will sort this out.

So, the first impression of the purchase:

opened and ... smell. The same unpleasant one. Made everything worse than in
panosonics - it concerns the quality of plastic, valve. I liked the display very much - it is also in color and the fact that there is a reverse report visible when the program starts.
Saucepan - the coating is black inside and looks like an ordinary Teflon (I did not try to scratch) It's just that in my "old" cartoon it is kind of gray, as if covered with a layer of something film and concrete scratches.

I, of course, thought that if there is an opportunity to pay more than a thousand for a Panasonic, it’s still better. But! If you take it as a second one, or at least cook in it for some time, in order to surely say your weighty word, then it's a completely good model.

3D is advertising. There, in the instructions about baking, it is written that you need to warm up the cartoon with a saucepan for 10 (!!!!!) minutes, then press "cancel", put the dough and bake. It is somehow confusing to smooth the biscuit in a hot saucepan. I pulled out the pan and turned on the baking, assuming that in extreme cases it would not heat up. It was enough for me for a minute. Disconnected, felt. Only the bottom heats. What is 3D then?

I wrote so messily. And if you missed something, ask, I'll be here for another half hour. Tomorrow I will experiment and I will answer more competently.
ikko4ka
Nat_ka, is there a frying and baking mode in the description?
Nat_ka
The instructions are there. But the temperature is not indicated there (it is not indicated on anything). For baking - warm up for 10 minutes and bake for 65 minutes or more. For frying - cook in this mode only with the lid open.

Natasha ... The inside of the pan is black, Teflon, and the outside is aluminum, like a Panasonic, or is it also black?

Is the lid insert removable? Can I wash the lid well?

Outside, the pan is aluminum, like a Panasonic. If the word "insert" means the valve, then it is removable. After porridge, I just wiped the lid with a paper towel. Washes with ordinary detergents, in fact, the same as that of Panasonic. I’ll snap it all in detail tomorrow.

Two pieces were released: VES SK-A12 and VES SK-A14. There is almost no information, judging by the short reviews, they differ only in power (700W and 900W) and the volume of the pan (5L and 6L). The volume of loading is the same - 1.8l.

I analyzed for a long time and realized that the VES 12 multicooker works the same way as Panasonic, only the temperature of the modes is higher. For example, a biscuit (the famous "multicooker biscuit" for 6 eggs) bakes faster. More precisely, in 65 minutes. his bottom begins to burn, that is, 60 minutes. - will be the very thing. The sides of the biscuit are also well "tanned", but the top is white.
You need to pour more water into buckwheat (1 to 3), then the porridge will be of the same quality as in Panasonic in a ratio of 1 to 2. I also cooked stuffed peppers (well, I love them, I cook in everything) So I rearranged from one mode to another, cooked it before that the top skin slipped off them. The saucepan is good, no scratches. But you still need to bake the ribs, then I'll tell you for sure.
Slow fire mode - barely gurgles.
Soup is an analogue of milk porridge.
Everything else is the same as everywhere else.
Delay also works for 5+
If it was possible to set the temperature, a multicooker would be ideal.

So far, she pleases me with her appearance (multi-colored numbers on the display) and the fact that you can see how much is left until the end of the program and the ability to reduce the cooking time for various types of cereals (in other programs, you can also change the programmed time). The heating mode is switched on on the "select" function according to the following scheme: you press "select", the time is displayed: "00 min.", You immediately turn on "start" and thus the "heating" is switched on.

Upset by the lack of a sound signal after the end.

Nat_ka, please tell me, can you pour only 1.8 liters of liquid or more?

Water up to the top mark - a little more than 3 liters intermeddle.
Gypsy
Rice cookers are usually measured with raw rice. 1.8 liters is raw rice, which is the maximum that a rice cooker can cook. As a result, you get 3.6 liters of boiled rice.
IRR
If the rice multicooker is 5 liters, you can safely cook 4 liters of soup (if you need so much), it will not run away.

this is rice !, for cooking, you can add a maximum of 10 glasses of rice (or buckwheat, or pearl barley, or ..). Clear?

Nat_ka, a question for you! What kind of saucepan does this appliance have? The same exactly as in Panasonic or heavier and stronger? (for example, Supra has a very solid saucepan). I want to order one in an internet store, but I don’t know what kind of pan and I can’t choose between the 12th and 14th model.

Nat_ka, a question for you!
Alexa! Here is Natasha's saucepan
🔗 🔗

still look here here in more detail
Alexa13
Thank you, IRR! I just wanted to clarify how this saucepan is "live". According to the photo, it seems to be the same as that of the "Panasonic" - rather light. I had a chance to "twist" pots from Supra and Binaton in my hands - they are much thicker and heavier (the conclusion suggests itself that it is stronger) If the saucepan is "serious", then it is worth buying. And I choose between two models - their programs are slightly different.
In the 12th there is: rice / porridge, baking, frying, steam, m / fire, stewing, soup.
On the 14th: buckwheat, potatoes, soup, pilaf, milk porridge, stewing, steam.
Both have 7 modes, but different! There are three identical - soup, steam and stewing, and four different. So I think, which model to buy, which modes are more needed? ... That's how ALL modes were in one!
Nat_ka
The saucepan is light, like in Panasonic. I think the name of the modes does not change their essence. Although in the 14th the power is more. Build on this. And the volume.
Nat_ka

Natasha, is the lid removable? I'm all circling around different multicooker ...

No, not removable. The model is very similar to Panasonic.
Galo4ka
IRR, Thank you. It would be nice to build a house ourselves, we are not HELPs to other people's uncles!
Nat_ka, it's time. The saucepan is light, and the coating seems to me to be stronger than that of Panasonic.
Today I already made apple pie, sauté and rice with vegetables. Everything is just class. Considering that today there were raids at home for 30-40 minutes, and I have such a dinner.

Rina
Are there really different programs in the 12th and 14th models? Or are sellers, as usual, confusing themselves and buyers?
Galo4ka
Rina72, I will not say about the 14th model, I have not seen it. But on the site of the Fotos store, models 12 and 14 have the same modes, but they do not even coincide with what is written on our display of model 12. There is no detailed description on the official VES website either.
The display contains modes:
- rice / porridge - 45 min.,
- baking - 50 min,
- frying - 25 min,
- steam - 40 min,
- slow fire - 40 minutes,
- soup - 40 min,
- quenching - 50 min,
- choice (time is set independently).
The time for any program can be increased or decreased. This is a plus.
There is no separate button for heating, but for the money it doesn't bother me much.
So far I am very happy!
IRR
Galo4ka, request - if possible, compare pzhl. slow fire and extinguishing mode. How identical? And yet, I suspect that frying is baking
Galo4ka
Irr! I will definitely compare. Nooo, frying and baking are two different modes - different lamps with the words "baking" and "frying" are on on the screen. Maybe they are similar in temperature, but the buttons are different.
I'll try to insert a photo.

Here! And I was a little confused and confused that in one model there are two pairs of identical modes: "frying" - "baking" and "stewing" - "slow fire". Somehow they duplicate, it seems, each other.
And in the 14th model there are the usual and convenient "buckwheat", "pilaf", "milk porridge", but there is no "no baking", no "frying", no "stewing"! functions ...
Alexa13

In fact, * soup * is also a slow * fire / extinguishing *. I think this is again either the Chinese translated badly or ours screwed up the translation.
Well, then there are three in the 12th model! similar modes! ("soup", "stewing" and "slow fire").

I think * soup * will be stronger than stewing - I have at YUMMI, at least so. Fry remembered where it came from, that like you can fry with the lid open. Although on baked goods, the same manipulations are also possible.
Nat_ka
Yesterday I cooked pea porridge (rather soup). I put it on the "soup" mode. BURLILO so (and in 35 minutes the peas were raw), that I put it on a slow fire. Again it was boiling violently. I just rearranged it to the "choice" and finished it there already normally.

It seems to me that three programs would be enough in this slow cooker, one of which is "choice", the second is "baking" and the third is "porridge".
Because while I'm constantly rearranging programs (maybe I'm just getting used to it?)

Galo4ka, I have not found something yet, where I saw the information. There was even a comparative table of two models by mode.
Alexa, I posted there the text that sellers write on the sites. And we all know perfectly well how this information and the real one may not coincide. That is why I ask real users so that at least one model in the catalog contains the correct information.
Rina
Owners of VES, please write a list of real programs about the models, so that we don't confuse ourselves in our catalog.

Nat_ka, as I understood, the experiment with "choice" for zero time turned out? Does the heating start immediately?
Nat_ka
Everything turned out with the transition to heating from "0" to "choice".

Girls! Where are you all? Ay-oo-oo! I have a little problem. The saucepan gets very hot and even on stewing and low heat the food burns slightly. I tried to reduce the cooking time and leave it on the heat, but not all vegetables were well quenched and crispy, which is not good.

Nat_ka

Really a problem. This is all because the power in it is great, I think. And the programs from the lantern are named. When I cook, I look into it all the time. With cereals - I pour more water (here I already know and I don't worry until morning), meat - I made pork and it was cooked in half an hour. The slightly tanned color was due to the soy sauce. With vegetables, try to cook for 10 minutes on the "choice". What vegetables?
bird
Acquired VES-12. I cooked stewed cabbage on "stewing", the bottom is also very burnt, and the top is not quite ready, next. just try to add water according to your advice. On "baking" the bottom of the cake is also fried, and the top is damp. In general, while I am delighted, as with the advent of a bread machine - I abandoned the products and forgot, no.
Galo4ka
Nat_ka, vegetables were what I found in the loggia (eggplants, zucchini, peppers, cabbage, tomatoes and onions + seasonings Camis "Italian cuisine)"). On stewing, 40 minutes is enough. Well, very cool.
It's just stupid to add water to vegetables, and there is a lot of juice. And the stewed cabbage crunches.
When I was cooking soup, I tried stewing and slow fire, but there was also not a very small "fire" there. The soup boiled decently. And as for the power, we have only 700 W in 12 models, and in Panasonic 670, the difference is not great.
She stewed meat (chicken fillet) for pilaf, at first I decided to fry it on frying, put it on for 10 minutes - it got tanned. The pilaf turned out to be brown, but tasty.
I cooked rice with vegetables: for 10 minutes, frying - onion + carrots + frozen green peas, then poured rice and poured water (on the advice of Nat_ki 1: 3) and rice / porridge mode, it turned out great.
LTBW
So I waited for my VEStochki 12th. When unpacking, I went nuts from the awful smell, could not cook anything in it, threw it out on the cold veranda to ventilate. In the morning it seemed to be better, but still the smell of plastic is strong. The instruction is somehow not very good. Not a word about heating the pan before using it for the first time, but, just in case, he smeared it with oil and stuck the "Pastry" for 10 minutes. Again it smelled strongly of plastic. I aired it, it seems to have stopped.
The first course was cod fillet with potatoes in mayonnaise. I put the stewing program on, but the bottom was fried, that is, the bottom layer of the onion turned dark brown. It didn’t burn out, but it seemed like it shouldn’t have to be fried on stewing ... And everything was very tasty, of course, the dish did not acquire any foreign odors.
Now I put the millet porridge strictly according to the instructions, and something bothers me that it's not just steam coming out of the valve, but the bubbles are trying to get out. What is it, if they try to climb on one portion, then what will happen if I want to make 2-3 portions? She's going to dirtiest herself! Somehow sloppy ...
LTBW
Quote: Nat_ka

I wrote about the smell - it really is, but it was gone after the first cooking.

About porridge: it seems to me that more water (liquid) needs to be poured, because it will be dryish (not to be confused with crumbly). And millet, peas and something else always breaks to the valve))))
Yes, the smell is gone.
Millet porridge - uh-uh ... well, how to say ... No, it didn't turn out dry. But it consisted of two parts - on top there was a normal wet porridge, but practically fresh, and on the bottom there was a casserole - here it was beautiful (brown) and very sweet, i.e. I will not say that the porridge was burnt, but fried, and for some reason the sugar was not melted in 45 minutes in a mixture of water and milk, and remained at the bottom.I did not understand this. Next time I will try the third option from the instructions for porridge - "Choice" for 35 minutes. But for some reason I am sure that it will climb up and go away again
And in the afternoon he cooked pea soup on smoked ribs. Well, the ribs are not raw, so this time the duration of the "soup" program of 40 minutes didn't bother me too much. But how it boiled! Again, for muddy pea soup, don't care. But how do you make a normal raw meat soup with clear broth? If it boils awesome and only 40 minutes? What idiot called this incomprehensible regime a soup?
Tell us, on what mode and for how long should you put regular soups?
Nat_ka
Here's the problem with the soup. The multicooker, it seems to me, rages in any mode, except for heating, perhaps there is an option not to close the lid. on the "soup" mode. If you try, write.
Galo4ka
I have already cooked the soup twice, once from fresh cabbage, the second time just soup with buckwheat. Despite the fact that the broths are boiling very transparent. Even with meat. The buckwheat soup was cooked for 30 minutes, everything was ready, but I left it on the heat so that my son would be warm by the time he came home from school. The cabbage soup was cooked for 40 minutes in soup, then another 30 minutes over low heat. When I was cooking cabbage soup, I poured water over the top mark, nothing boiled away.

I wrote so messily. And if you missed something, ask, I'll be here for another half hour. Tomorrow I will experiment and I will answer more competently.

About 3D.
If you read carefully, the following is written about 3D: "3D temperature control". This means that there is no heater in the lid (and the wires go there are thin), but only a temperature sensor (the second, the first is in the center at the bottom). And most importantly, the more often we look into the saucepan and open the lid, the more changes we make to the upper temperature sensor. This can be important if the sensor is used in this mode, or absolutely unimportant if the sensor is not used in this mode. The wires (2 black, 1 yellow) are located under the cover, which is screwed on with one screw. A screw under the water trap. When removing the cover, holes are available through which liquid enters the moisture trap. Maybe someone needs to wash for once.
Experimenting in this way becomes a little more difficult.

Thoughts about experimentation: if in any mode the temperature is set to more than 100 degrees, then the water will boil in this mode, even jump out, since the boiling point is 100, and the saucepan will try to execute the program and heat more. That is, this mode is only for fats (frying) or baked goods. In fact, experimenting without knowing the algorithms of the casserole is walking blindfolded in an unfamiliar area. IMHO. But there is nowhere to go, because there is a saucepan.

For VES SK-A14, I quote Natalia, although she wrote for the 12th (as I thought)
"List of programs (real):

rice \ porridge
bakery products
frying
steam (for a couple)
slow fire
extinguishing
soup
choice "
I guess the discrepancies between the 14th and 12th arose from reading poor-quality sites at night. I have the 14th, and these modes.
Nat_ka
Malex, it's nice to read a sane person. Here's who will help us from the technical side! I would like to know more about temperature conditions. It seems to us here that she BURLITES in all modes the same.
Malex
From my little experience, it is similar. Therefore, I understand well why BURLIT is all in capital letters. An engineer is not a cook, in a day-to-day situation this is not a plus, but thanks anyway.

After reading in smart forums about the boiling point of various oils, I found this:
"Let's talk about cold-pressed oil for now. As long as this oil is not calcined, and under the condition of atm. Pressure at" sea level "it will boil at 100 degrees. Until then, until the bubbles, that is, the remaining water evaporates ...
... Purely subjective when it comes to refined and pre-calcined oils:
sunflower - 120-140
olive - 160
corn, soy - 180
mutton fat - 180

ehärtetes Erdnussöl - peanut oil 230
Palmkernfett - palm oil 220
raffinierte Öle - refined oils> 200
kaltgepresstes Rapsöl - rapeseed oil 130 - 190
kaltgepresstes Olivenöl - olive, cold pressed 130 - 190. "

That is, with calcined oil, there is a chance to see the difference in kmpenia. But remember about the thermal sensor in the lid.
Interestingly, if you write a request to a company, they will answer something about temperature conditions or refer to a "trade secret". I don't want to experiment if there is a chance to get a qualified answer. The manufacturer of "Brand" responded to the questions of the forum, maybe ours will.
And the lid is also of interest, vapors necessarily fall into it, not a lot, but they do. And how to wash it at least once a year.
I tried to bake a cake three times according to different recipes, but each time it wasn’t baked inside why I don’t understand, the recipes were different. If I increase the time, does it start to burn ?!

I bought a chocolate cake mix + 2 eggs + 100ml in the store. milk + 100g. margarine, mixed and baked everything. I didn’t even expect it to happen. After warming up, the multi baked for 65 minutes, then stole it, allowed it to cool and that's it. Easily cut into three parts and smeared with cream.

A detailed report and comparison of multicooker VES and Panasonic, very interesting ..

Any operating mode can be set manually from 5 to 99 minutes - this is convenient when, for example, you first need to fry the product for 10 minutes, and then extinguish it for 20 minutes (this is not provided for Panas, you need to be nearby, following the numbers on the display ).
I wonder how you can fry something for 10 minutes in Panasonic? During this time, for example, it will only get hotter with me ... Frankly speaking, such a remark for me personally (as a potential consumer) is absolutely useless: in any case, look at the degree of readiness, and not in time (if there is a sequential use of several modes in the process of cooking one dish, such as soup or pilaf)

Further, the modes are duplicated () - "baking" is the same "frying". Modes "soup", "stewing", "choice", "steam" - reproduce absolutely identical processes of rather violent boiling. The broth (jellied meat) can be cooked only on the "m / fire" mode, and the boiling of the liquid is quite strong on it ... Here in the "Panas" on the "quenching" mode, even the bubbling of water is not noticeable, and the jellied meat can be left to cook for the whole night (the program is designed for 1-12 hours), and in the morning put on plates. This trick will not work here - the modes are designed for a maximum of 99 minutes. If this is quite enough for the broth, then the jellied meat will have to "graze", starting the unit 3-4 times over again.
Quite right, we have already noted this in Temka.
On weekends I cooked pea soup with ribs. Went through all the modes - boils and seethes at all The extinguishing is obtained only on the "choice" program. It is likely that on the "rice / porridge" program, since they are indicated in the recipes in the instructions for MB as alternative ones. I don’t know, I haven’t checked it yet.
The notch on the handle (to open the lid) is on the same side as the valve from which hot steam comes out during cooking. You need to be very careful not to burn yourself - ill-conceived design!
As for me, the handle is made quite conveniently, well, it differs from Panasonkina ... True, it turns out that it is designed only for right-handed people
But in what Marfa Vasilievna absolutely wrong (and thus misleads others): in the message with a list of programs for two different models of MB VES sk-A12 and VES sk-A14 confusion I have a VES sk-A14 model, it contains the list of programs that is indicated for VES sk-A12 .... And the photo of the display above is also, respectively, from the 14th model.

But I completely agree with the conclusions. For the same price, you can find a better unit
