Tanya, it's me again! Sorry for the importunity. Something went wrong with my pastries, maybe you can see from the outside what is wrong ... Today I was baking a Swedish (like that it is called) cake. I whipped everything up. 60 + 20 min. on Multipovar, then turned it off, opened the lid after 20 minutes. The cupcake was baked well, it was rosy, but the height ... barely made it to 3 cm. And it tastes very greasy. Now I remembered that I had not sifted the flour, could it do that much harm? Thank you so much!
Tanyulya
I have baked a Swedish muffin more than once, because it always turns out to be successful and rises well, well, not that it blows the tower down. It seems that I didn't sift the flour either, the main thing is to beat it sooooo good, I beat it with a planetary mixer, I tried it with a whisk from a blender ... alas, the result was not too small and it turned out to be too tough https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=96489.0
Maybe you didn't whisk very well. Good luck to you.

Tanya, thank you again! Today I baked Charlotte - everything is wonderful! I was satisfied with the result (8 cm.) After the signal, I left it on the heating for more than 20 minutes.

Good day! I've also got the idea to buy MV. Interested in baking and languishing. I also want to be able to cook yogurt (temperature 30 degrees). Will this MB model suit me? If not, then maybe the owners of other multicooker will advise a suitable one? Thanks in advance.
Tanyulya
lily971, I think to you in this thread https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=83783.0... Here is exactly the information on choosing different multicooker. Good luck to you
lily971
I’ve read so much already that I’m confused. Would have liked a good quality saucepan cover. The function of the yogurt is important. I have never had CF. I haven't seen her live. They are not for sale in our city. I found Kuku 0821 in the online store for 739 UAH. Based on what you read on the forum, the price is good. The consultant could not answer my questions. Therefore, I turned to the owners of this MB model. Auroras are still on sale in Ukraine (there definitely is a function of yogurt). It is extremely difficult to solve something without having experience using this device. If possible, tell me
Tanyulya
lily971, saucepan in 0821 is not bad, the quality is on par. There is no "Yogurt" mode (I know this mode is in Italians). What is Aurora ... I hear it for the first time, so I can't even tell you something less intelligible.

Girls, tell me, please, did you make "Chocolate on boiling water" in our cartoon? If so, how many minutes did you bake? Thank you!
1 hour 20 minutes, just in one hour I had something ... not raw but not baked either.

Hello everyone I also became the owner of this cuckoo model. There was such a problem: I try to turn on the Turbo mode (that is, I press the Cooking / Turbo button twice), but this mode does not turn on in my opinion. When I press for the first time, a beep is heard, when I press the second time - no reaction, silence, and the light near the Turbo inscription does not light up (I understood that a small light should light up there). Experienced users - help with advice, what is it - did I come across a defective unit, or is it just that I don't understand something or am I pressing the wrong way ??
Tanyulya
tanthik, good evening . Congratulations on your purchase. Now I checked: double-clicking on the Cooking button and the Turbo mode turns on, the red indicator next to it lights up. (I click immediately as a double-click on the mouse)
tanthik
Hello, Tanyulya I also pushed the buttons after your instructions. It turns out that Turbo only works in Normal mode - at least for me. Thanks

Tatyana, I "slapped" the ten at the cuckoo, I can't wipe it off with a rag, tell me, can I wipe it off somehow?
Good morning. What did you sprinkle with? I wipe with a sponge soaked in detergent, then a clean damp cloth and leave to dry with the lid open.
AUV
She cooked semolina porridge, she ran away and boiled. I wiped it with a damp cloth - it didn’t help, but I didn’t risk detergent, I was afraid to ruin it, but now, thanks to you, I’ll try. Thank you.

Please tell me, did anyone make a sour cream? If there is a recipe, please post it.

And tell me, in the Multi-cook mode, you can press cancel during cooking?
Tanyulya
I didn't cook the sour cream, you can turn it off, you can open the lid
plod7
Sorry, I wanted to say mannik. not sour cream.

Please teach me how to cook porridge. In a collection of recipes you will not understand anything. For example, "Corn porridge with raisins"

1.Corn grits 2 measuring cups.
2. Raisins 3/4 measuring cups.
3. Milk
4. Salt 1/2 tsp. sugar 1-2 tbsp
5 plums. butter or cream.

It is written to pour milk up to level 2. There are 2 levels inside the bowl. And on what to navigate is not clear. Help me to understand.
How much milk and cereals what proportions and what is most important in the morning. to deal with the timer. To get up and you really had porridge like from the stove, and not throw it into a bucket with a spoiled mood.

Please share your normal recipes for millet, corn. oatmeal and semolina porridge. And please do not send me to other multicooker, I still cannot adapt. Me specifically to CUCKOO 0821.
Vizcoldy
And on what mode to cook soup in it (vegetable soup without meat)?
AUV
plod7, I cook all cereals (millet, corn, oatmeal, barley) the same way, for one multi-glass of cereal, 2 glasses of milk and one glass of water, add salt, sugar and butter to taste to the ready-made porridge, stir it on the plates. This portion is enough for two adults and a child. I cooked semolina porridge on the timer only once, but I got a lot of lumps, so now I cook it only in the morning. And I also like mixed cereals, that is, 0.5 multi-glass of corn grits + 0.5 glass of wheat or 3/4 wheat + 1/4 semolina, etc., and you can use the timer. You put food in the CF, porridge mode, timer, choose by what time you need breakfast and that's it.

bobagrom, baked goods are made thanks to the Multicook program. Braising again with a Multi-Cook. When I cook milk porridge, I choose the "Porridge" mode. I cooked pilaf on the Multipovar mode.

Hello dear cuckoo breeders! So, I decided to join you, because after purchasing my cuckoo, a lot of questions arose. After purchasing Panasonic, this was not the case with me! There I quickly figured out both theory and practice, especially when I found a description and features of the modes on some forum. How is it that completely different dishes should be cooked in one mode without any peculiarities? And baked goods? and soup / broth? and extinguishing? and all this on a multi-cooker at the same temperature? Indeed, for the soup you do not need a violent boil, as well as for milk porridge. And you don't need speed for extinguishing. These are the internal contradictions! And another question is the "normal" mode (rice). Does anyone already know what 2 parameters can be changed there? one designation there is similar to the letter h, (time?), and the other to the letter b.And then for 2 days of owning a cuckoo I have more questions than for three years of active ownership of Panasonic What are the features of cuckoo modes in terms of duration and temperature?

About h and b has already been mentioned above and the instructions say, with the help of the first one you change the cooking time so that the rice (porridge) is either crumbly or sticky, with the help of the second you change the degrees - less, more, in instr. there is even a schedule. So far, I myself have only used a multi-cook-cupcake and soup.
Dana
Maybe I'm not smart enough, but I won't get used to a new typewriter. Here Rybka Eva already wrote that after Panas, there is no way to get it ...
1) Normal mode - how does it work? In Panas, the porridge regime evaporates the water to the end, how many do you pour, but here? I cooked rice: 2 stacks of multi and 4 water, the foam went through the valve, turned it off earlier, then took it out on heating.
2) Porridge mode. My porridge never reached the signal on it. Disconnected in an hour, like everything is already ready. I just read that the norm is 1.5 hours. Does it evaporate the liquid to the end?
3) The instructions say about the risks, such as up to the second after cereals. And what is the second, if the cereal is 1 glass. Someone already have norms? If possible, by name to cereals (well, there is 1x1 buckwheat, 1x2 rice, etc.)
Didn't find cooking peas and beans. Soak their birthmarks in the book for 6 hours. In Panas, it is convenient - dry peas (beans) stewing for 1 hour, then laying products (such as onions, potatoes) and for another 1 hour. The soup is ready. Can you also soak dry peas in a cartoon here? If anyone did - please respond!
4) I boiled (stewed), it is not clear by temperature) potatoes in cream. Potatoes + 1 stack of cream, spice salt. Multi cook 20 min. The foam went through the valve for 12 minutes. Then I washed the bowl, heated potatoes for 40 minutes. They ate it.
Maybe my cartoon is playing a fool with the temperature regime, or the hostess?
Can anyone understand the principle of operation of the modes (approximate temperature, running hours). Something I did not find in the forum. If possible, poke a pug
Starletka
I, too, still cannot understand the Cuckoo, it seems like there are more opportunities than in Panas, but how all modes work, what temperature, etc. are given by trial and error, sometimes I want to spit and resell. That porridge through the valve, the rice never turned out crumbly, once it even burnt. Someone can explain how to still use "soaking" and "temperature", like I still pushed something there, that is, it has some other functions that are not described in the disgusting instructions, in all likelihood clumsily translated in "promta" from Korean from a rice cooker
Alise
Dana, I have a Korean cuckoo and a different model, BUT:
1. The usual mode (crumbly rice) evaporates the water, so that it does not spit, it is necessary to reduce the cooking power (in my cuckoo's "settings") of water for rice - by 2 tbsp. rice - add water to mark 2
2. Porridge and after 30 minutes it seems to be ready, but at the end of the program "steamed" as after a Russian stove
3. Boil means not less than 2st of cereals, therefore risks with "2" begin
4.The foam could go due to the high power exposed
Dana
Oh, mommy, also in the flattery settings? And where to? I here have studied what the manufacturer has called the proud word instruction, and so, there is no hint about it. Who has the same machine, can you find it? Save. Rice as a side dish for me is a pipe dream
Tanyulya
NORMAL mode: Cooking various cereals as a side dish.
BROWN / GLUTY mode: Cooking long-cooked cereals such as brown rice, pearl barley, corn grits, etc.
MULTI-COOK mode: cooking the first and second courses, steaming, browning, baking.
Porridge mode: cooking milk porridge, stewing meat and vegetables.
This is approximately what can be done in these modes.
Stewed potatoes on Multipovar in livki are great.
I cook soups. I do this for 20 minutes on the Multipovar for boiling, remove the foam, and then lay all the products on Porridge.
I cook rice on the Multipovare or in the normal mode. for 2 tbsp. rice 2.5 tbsp. water
Vegetables are also multi-cook or porridge.
This is roughly offhand.
Baking on Multipovar for at least 60 minutes.
Dana
The adventure continues:
1 glass of rice for 1.5 water, salt. The usual mode - for 12-15 minutes the foam went with a valve, and so much that it washed the table. I had to turn it off. Cooked up in a saucepan.
Dry peas (old, lying around in the "bins of the Motherland") 1 stack filled with water, Kas regime. Then I threw millet (washed and soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes), frying and smoked sausage ass (found in the refrigerator) Porridge mode. Disconnected from heating and stood for another 15-20 minutes. Mmm-mm-mm!
This is how I live - where it is empty, where it is thick
Tanyulya
Yesterday I boiled rice for a side dish at 0821. Rice took long-grain steamed, from a ratio of 2 / 2.5 (rice / water), Normal mode
There was no foam at all. I started cooking at 17-59 at 18-39 I forced cancel, because the rice was already what I needed.

Nda-ah ... Some are lucky. Somewhere I deducted that it is possible to have increased heating power in this mode.
In general, the instructions advise you to cook from 2 glasses of cereal, so you can try not 1, but a glass of water and up to 2 on the scale where the number is 8. Try it.
AUV
Girls, I need advice. The cuckoo's steam valve "flew". I live in Kamchatka, here they have never heard of a cuckoo. Traveled all service centers and everywhere a refusal. I wrote a letter to the CUCKOO website, and in response there was silence ... If anyone has already come across, tell me where you can order an AF with shipment?
Dana
I have rice in any proportion comes with a valve. But you can't take us for twenty! I took 1 glass of rice per 1 liter of water. It was cooked like a cute one, the table is clean, and then I drained the water.

I bought Cuckoo 0821 a week ago, while friendship with her does not work out Teach, pliz, how to turn on the Heating, for example. I set the temperature (I understood this), then I press Cooking, Heating and Timer, as in the instructions. The sound signal after the Timer button does not sound, but a running rectangle on the display. And that's all. But how do you turn on the heating for 3 hours, for example?

Apparently, except for me, everyone is comfortable with the Cuckoo and does not ask questions
My liquid evaporates very strongly in the "Cooking" and "Turbo" modes. If I make goulash, for example, I often have to add water. Is that how it should be? Or is there something wrong in my actions?

Today I discovered a problem: a crack appeared on the steam valve. Do I need to urgently change it or can I leave it this way for now?

Hello. Recently became a "happy" owner of MB 0821 - presented for a holiday. I am still prostrated, my head is porridge, I just can't figure out either the instructions or the recipes. It's not very clear to me why MV is needed, if milk rice porridge, for example, is cooked in it for 1.5 hours, while it can be cooked on gas in less than an hour? Can I somehow set the parameters in the evening so that I have hot porridge for breakfast in the morning (in fact, what all the owners of CF actively advertised to me)? It is unclear if this is a MULTI cooker, then why all the instructions and symbols on the rice cooker (in the English version of the instructions it is called that - rice cooker).
I tried to cook corn porridge with raisins: it is written to add milk to mark 2, but inside the bowl there is 3 mark 2 and everything is at a different level. As a result, the porridge turned out to be dry and undercooked.
A friend is delighted with CF, but I still cannot understand what its advantage is compared to cooking on the stove.
Please tell me where you can find adequate instructions for the device. Thank you.

Good morning. Yes, the Porridge mode in this multicooker lasts 90 minutes, but you don’t need to watch, set the timer and in the morning the porridge is ready, but your presence is still required on the stove.
Why write a rice cooker? Initially, all these devices were created for cooking rice and in Korea most of these models are used specifically for cooking rice, and not only in Korea, China, Japan.
The proportions of porridge can be taken from the recipes on the forum. As a rule, I cook porridge in the following proportion of 1 cubic meter of cereal and 1000-1200 ml of liquid (milk + water), the porridge turns out to be good, a little smeared.
Instructions ... I agree with you, no one, but there is a forum and we will try to help you.

The "Porridge" mode in MB 0821 works perfectly.90 minutes - this is the whole trick, the porridge turns out steamed like from the oven. In order to get such a porridge, you need to oooooochen try, well, not leave the stove. In the MV, I fall asleep at night 1 m. A glass of cereal + 1 liter. milk, salt, you can add plums. oil, I set the required time for the morning on the timer. In the morning, delicious porridge is ready !!!

I have been using MV 0821 for 2 years, honestly, there are still questions. For myself, I realized that I overpaid for CUCKOO. I believe that the device should be elementary in use. I also racked my head at the beginning, the instruction can be thrown away - it is so stupid. Basically I use 2 modes: Porridge and Multipovar. The conclusion is that the device is good because there is no need to stand near it. Some dishes in MV turn out great, some don't. For 2 years of use, the valve was changed (the teeth were broken off), the case was changed (the buttons were cracked). Judging by the reviews, I thought it was only me who had a problem with the case. BUT NO. My sister in Ukraine, on my advice, bought the same model half a year later than me, she also then had a problem with the case (the buttons began to crack). The question is, why overpay? Moreover, many new models from different companies are now on the market at a lower price.

Tanyulya, Romashkina, thanks for answers. I am just interested in the function of the timer: the family is big, a small child, the second is on the way, it is very important to have a ready-made breakfast in the morning so as not to fuss. I'll try to figure out the timer. You need to set the start or end time on it. For example, I need a ready-made dish at 9.00, is the timer set at 7.30 or 9.00? Is the timer set first, and then the cooking mode, or vice versa? Thank you.
Tehanu
And also, reading the posts on this forum, I came to the conclusion that the Russian person is unique: he will find non-standard use for everything and improve what he does not understand or does not suit.

Select the Porridge mode (only it) and press the Timer button, set the time for which the porridge should be ready in the morning, for example, by 7-00. Press the Cooking button. If the green Timer light comes on, and the arrows on the display opposite Porridge and Varka, then you have programmed correctly.
