Ingredients

Flour 330 g
Salt pinch
Sugar 150 g
Oil 130 g
Eggs 4 things.
Dried fruits, candied fruits and nuts
(I have raisins, walnuts and almonds)
200 g
Baking powder 1 tbsp. l.
(no top)
Jelly for cake
(brush the top with a brush)
(not necessary,
can be lubricated with slightly diluted water
apricot or peach jam)

Cooking method

  • Chop dried fruits and nuts, leaving a few for garnish.
  • In a food processor, beat eggs with sugar. Then add butter and beat more.
  • Add flour with baking powder, salt, dried fruits and nuts. Knead well.
  • Pour the dough into a greased and floured baking dish. If the mold is silicone, then you do not need to lubricate with anything.
  • Decorate with nuts and dried fruits that have been set aside. The oven is preheated to 180 gr. oven until dry sticks. Be guided by your oven. It took me 35-40 minutes.
  • When it has cooled slightly, brush with cake jelly.

Note

Here's a cupcake I baked for the arrival of my beloved half. The peculiarity of the "English cake" in its shape, it should be rectangular.
