Coffee gurus recommend storing coffee in the freezer. It can be easily stored there for a couple of months without loss of quality and taste with aroma. Some even after roasting, put the coffee in the freezer ..

Thank you! I haven't even heard of it!
I will receive my order, then I hope I will adjust the stock
freezer is the way out.
and would he also advise storing in a bank or in a bag with a fastener, in the one in which it is packed?
Thank you

I keep it in the freezer. I pour the opened packages into an airtight jar. I also used a vacuum cleaner. I take packages in kilogram.

And tea is also advised to keep in the freezer ... The question remains ... Where to get so much space for freezers?

I buy coffee in vacuum bags with a valve. More often 1 kg. I open the bag, pour it into such jars as Gali's. If it was not possible to shove everything into the jars, then I close the bag as tightly as possible. I keep the cans of coffee and the opened bag in the refrigerator.

I have already shared, but I will repeat myself.
That's what came across in the open spaces. Liked. Trying to follow.

Tips for making espresso:

After opening the bag of coffee beans, store it in an airtight container in the freezer. Separately, get yourself a small, airtight container, where you pour the grains as needed and store it in the refrigerator. From it and take coffee for preparation.
You need to grind coffee just before making it. There are no options. Add exactly as many beans to the grinder container as needed to prepare the drink (per day). Coffee should not be stored in it.
The coffee grinder should not work longer than a minute. Otherwise, the coffee will give off bitterness, pushing the aroma into the background. The mechanism here is not tricky: the metal simply heats up and "roasts" the coffee particles. Therefore, if you intend to grind a large number of coffee beans at once, you risk spoiling it.
The main point in espresso is the grinding. It will be too small, the drink will be bitter, too large, it will be watery and sour. Ideally, the degree of grinding is selected individually for each type of coffee, but this is a whole art. I have 15 degrees of grind on my coffee grinder (the lower the number, the smaller), I set it, as a rule, at level 2.
In the horn, you form the so-called. tablet, evenly level it and press. Please note that there may be a line on the inner surface of the horn, which should be guided by.
The strength of the drink is regulated both by the amount of coffee in the cone and by the way it is pressed (the stronger, the stronger).
The cone should be warm when cooking, and so should the cup. The water in the coffee maker is fresh and not from the tap. It's too hard and ruins both the coffee maker and the drink.
Once everything is ready, rinse the coffee maker by draining some water and letting it warm up again.
The horn should be installed in the coffee maker just before preparation - the coffee immediately starts to burn.
The stream of the drink should be uniform. If instead of it you see drops, then either you have overdone the grinding or the coffee in the cone has been pressed too much.
The preparation time for a cup of espresso should not take more than 30 seconds, otherwise the coffee will start to extract something completely wrong and the drink may taste bitter.
You can judge the quality of an espresso by looking at the foam in the cup. It should be uniform, fine-grained, 3-5 mm high, and remain on the walls.
After preparing the drink, you can also evaluate the quality of its preparation by the used tablet in the cone. If there is still water and the contents look like liquid porridge, then the grind was too fine. If the tablet is dry, but crumbles, then it is too large or overdone with a press. Ideally, it should be of a softish consistency, easy to separate from the horn.
To prepare "Americano", you need to prepare a classic espresso, which then add boiling water.
Last but not least, do not drink coffee like Jamaica Blue Mountain with chocolate or sandwich. Better then, just drink it without anything.
If you want to add pleasure, then pour some good cognac into a well-heated glass. Cheeses such as aged Parmesan are very suitable. Just cut it thinly, taking it out of the refrigerator in advance. Moldy cheeses such as Montagnolo go well with coffee.

To be honest, I have no idea where you can buy Jamaika Blue Mountain at an affordable price in Russia.

marinastom, usually I buy Jamaika Blue Mountain in a shop on Myasnitskaya "Tea-Coffee", but there it is not cheap. I really love this store since Soviet times and there is a very diverse assortment there. And for a coffee machine I have been buying this kind of coffee lately, I like the combination of Arabica and Robusta.

From what is in ordinary stores, I buy Arabica "Moscow coffee house on shares". Fragrant coffee, I like it.
And recently I took Carte Noire for a sample. I have not yet appreciated the taste, but I felt the aroma while driving. The coffee smelled all over the car!

Hello, please tell me, those who have already ordered a test on the website. I went there for the first time and in general I am in shock. As there everything is well described about varieties and types. And now I don't know which one to stop at. I love without sourness, I found Brazil Cerrado. Has anyone already tried it?

And also found Verona (dark roast). Who tried it? And how much to take, well, what would you like to understand or not? Will a 250 g pack be enough?

Enough ..

Irinusik86Brazil is all, in my opinion, quite soft.I didn’t try Cerrado, but I liked Brazil Santos very much. 250gr is quite enough to taste. I usually order two or three varieties for 250, then you better order fresh (they have roast after ordering). Try some of the Maragodgips (compare the bean size to regular coffee)))

I ordered there for the first time and different ones, one of them Verona, earlier wrote that I love the bitterness, liked it, strong, chocolate aftertaste, my friend after it asked for water like in cafes after mountains. they give real chocolate, but in milk drinks it tastes bitter with might and main, so for an amateur
And from other och. liked FRANZ. ROASTING - there are a little good reviews, but it's just right for me, well, out of their 3 branded ones again ordered AROMA / more universal for us and the aroma is just something,
but in general you need to try - the taste and color ...
and "congratulations" with a typewriter
and an extra budget item since COFFEE ALWAYS WANTED !!!

Curious about Mielita Barista ... Wow! What a cool car! Wait, I really wanted her too. And why did I look into this topic ...
caprice23
Victor, do not sprinkle salt on the wound. Although I love my Boshik dearly, myelitis remains my dream. And dreams tend to come true. Let's wait.
By the way, here they asked about coffee from the teistikofe website. I just take it there. I really like Verona. For cappuccino it is the most. Very dense body, rich chocolate taste. If someone is bitter, you can play with the settings))
Wiktor
Yeah ... Melitta Caffeo Barista is good, but, as they say, from the category - "Masha is good, but not ours!"
I also regularly stock up on tastycoffee beans. Only occasionally do I take something to try in local stores.
caprice23
Well, we can kada realties and ours will be. I also really like torrefacto coffee. But the prices are also much higher. And in the store, I take it only if the tasticoffe is over. But I haven't come across a tasty one for a reasonable price yet.

How much is this Melita now worth? I'm even afraid to look.

Once, by chance, I took ground Egoist for a stock. Loved the cappuccino. Then, on purpose, I took the same Egoist, but in grains. And not at all. Even with milk it tastes very bitter. In general, it seems to me that all shop coffee, when compared to coffee with tasty, roasted.
Perhaps only Live coffee, in roasting, is similar to coffee with tasty, but it contains a lot of scrap and husks.
My last catch with tasty

Which is better or worse, don't ask, I liked the whole thing. Someone doesn't like sour coffee, but for me it's so cool. Today, only Verona has remained untouched. One of these days I'll unpack it.

What a stock !!! Super!!!
The last time I also had a lot of hapnkla, the action was just. But I mostly typed Verona. So far, they like her the most.I also decided to try the Italian roast. So tight, tight. There is bitterness, but not much. But my bitterness is almost not felt anywhere, since the grinding is the largest. And I only drink cappuccino. In cappuccino, dark roast is good))

Here are my three young ladies)

Egoist ground did not try. I buy only in beans (why the coffee grinder is in the car). And I didn't appreciate it in the grains either. Yes, and I agree that all store coffee seems to be roasted

Yuliawhat is the range of prices. The price is not exorbitant, of course, but still a little expensive. For me at least. Moreover, there is a toiler in the kitchen who tries to make coffee. Delicious by the way))

During the grinding .. Pour the beans into the bean compartment, select the espresso program, press the buttons and the grain will begin to grind, and at this moment twist half a step. half a step .. emphasize. We twisted it, tried it, I don’t like it more than half a step, turned it on again, turned it on again, and so on until the taste suits. I once read on the Prokof website how to properly regulate the grinding. There men are gurus, they will not advise bad things.
