Charlotte, this is good, but I have a Redmond glass (not a word! :-)) is too big, the jar takes up less space in the refrigerator.
Yuri K
I will voice my sad opinion about the coffee grinder attachment for the blender. Today I received a huge box with an extensive package. But most of all, of course, I was worried about the coffee grinder. As a result, I took on it with passion! Naturally, I set it to the finest grind, the result is that the milk cannot cope with its duties. Even at the smallest speed it spits out grains and coarse grinding into a glass above the millstones. Grinding begins only with setting the grinding stage to number 5. Of course, the grinding degree is only suitable for a geyser (in my case). It looks and feels like construction (yellow) sand or semolina. No question - the grind is homogeneous in structure, beautiful. But for the Turks, there is no vaunted grinding into flour, or into dust.
Sadness sadness. It will come in handy only in case of a massive arrival of guests and milk of a good amount of coffee at a time to a geyser, coffee machines, an alternative and other bells and whistles.

I will wait for the arrival of the USSR manual, fungus! Hope to catch my Zen there

Yuri K, and if the second time to drive out on a finer grind?
I run my millstones on the shore and grind the groats twice, first coarsely, then into flour.

Probably you can try it like that, but you must agree - you expect a little different quality from the thing. I think grinding with this type of fraction is self-sufficient, but not for the Turks, of course. I'll see what the Armenian hand will "say" to me
Charlotte
I have a molding at 0 division, slowly, but it should be so. Are you sure the millstone is exactly right? Try to remove and reassemble.

It is a pity that she did not live up to expectations ((But maybe it will be possible to bring to mind?

Yuri, I have two coffee grinders. One is ordinary, and the second is a millstone. The first time I run it on idle, and then through the millstone, and I get my "Zen". Try it, suddenly what suits you.

I haven’t heard about it at all, I am also electrified. Give the details - what is where))

I take a measuring spoon of grain into a small bowl, zip it once or twice from the spray bottle. The smaller the spray, the better, ideally a molecular spray humidifier, but I have some kind of fine powder from cosmetics. I shake it, let it soak for 20 seconds and grind it. It sticks much less. There should be very little water, otherwise the millstones will rust.

Most likely, this method will not work for me. I have a coffee grinder hopper of 200 grams. And I grind it into 1-2 portions.
Yuri K
CharlotteI'm sure. The millstones spin when idle, crushes on the upper large knives - and then throws all this mass upward. Strange, of course, maybe not ground millstones. Until I figured out how to make it out, I'll take a look tomorrow.
Charlotte
Anna1957, here it is as convenient to anyone. I store it in an airtight package, if I buy more than 200 grams, I put it in a zip bag and put the rest in the freezer. But this is rare, now there are small packages, and if I fry myself, then no more than 300 grams. In km I pour in a portion, which I will grind and cook now. After grinding, I sweep the millstones with a brush. Espresso is very disciplined, windiness is almost not reflected in the Turk.

I also grinded coffee perfectly today to 0. The sediment in the coffee is just like a cream ... maybe the quality of the grinding depends on the coffee beans?
Crown
Charlotte, do you fry the grains after the freezer?
I slightly fry the already ground coffee, but after the freezer it doesn't need to be moistened, the beans are already fogging up. My coffee grinder also magnetizes a little, it doesn't hover me, but if the grain is only from the freezer, then this does not happen.

Strange ... I subconsciously feel that something is wrong with me. But I can’t understand yet, I just got it in the evening. We need to figure out how to break up the milk in order to see what's wrong.
How long does it take to grind at zero?

Well, maybe a couple of minutes ... Maybe less, but no more ... I didn't notice, to be honest ...
I'm grinding at the lowest speed.
But yesterday I disassembled the mill, washed everything, and collected it. Maybe a millstone is installed there for transportation in a special way? Not tight, with a gap ... So as not to get damaged ...
Twig
Not a couple of minutes for sure. Seconds 30
Yuri K
A.lenka, Twig, shocked. I kept the blender on for five to seven minutes, I didn’t do it any longer - I was afraid to burn the motor. During this time, a small pinch was grinded, and then the grind previously ground at the 5th division was poured.

This would definitely be mentioned in the documentation! How about shipping fixing bolts in refrigerators when buying!

Yuri, if I have figured it out, then you can definitely handle it!
Look at the instructions, it says there. But it seems that, as I remember, first the millstone is pulled out from below, and then the white ring.
Charlotte
Try to grind at 4, at 3. If the grind with coffee does not block, then it works. Do not burn the motor.

I pressed or turned something and the inner millstone fell out. I did not take off any washers and did not unscrew anything. I wiped it and put it back

To prove that milk does not grind finely enough, this is from the category of fantasy, it grinds, then it works.

Yes, I have now also disassembled and assembled ... press the button, turn the white ring until the mark is indicated for removing the millstone. We delete. Press the button and turn it one more division - remove the collar. We delete.
Putting it up in the reverse order.
Yuri K
Charlotte, A.lenka, disassembled everything, cleaned it. the result is disastrous.
A.lenka
Yuri, try another coffee variety before experimenting. Well, you never know ...
Yuri K
A.lenka, this is more difficult. Ordered from the roaster Tasty. There are only two types of grain now.

This is how it throws out the grains and coarse grinding from the work of the upper part of the millstones (the millstones do not pass down). The second photo is the result of grinding for 1.5-2 minutes in time, it's horror ... This is if you set it immediately to zero with grain in the chamber.

Only from the third time I grinded at a minimum, before that, two grinds of this portion gradually reduced the value on the scale ... There is no experience, so I ask - the millstones can be blunt, or the grains can not be captured for other reasons ??
Ayac
Have a nice evening everyone!
Yuri, do you accidentally use a non-coarse-grain coffee like Nicaragua?
Yuri K
Ayac, no, Guatemala and Brazil, both Arabica.
Charlotte
1. Try to grind parboiled rice, maybe some very large grain. Or a very light roast.
2. Check the instructions to see if you can change the amount of grinding with grain in the chamber.
3. Set the grind one step coarser.
4. Most likely, the setting of the grinding value is knocked down and your 5, this is our 0. That is, the milk is in good order, but the finer grinding cannot.
Yuri K

Does it grind fine grains to check? Medium roasting.

Well, I understood it myself, or rather the coffee grinder dictated its conditions.
Quote: Charlotte

But this I can not understand, I have one that is possible? This is not manual assembly, production! Although China ... And now I wonder what degree of pressing the millstones should be and how to set it on the "knocked down" scale, if this is the case ... Clicks go to zero, constructively laid down. It's about the millstones. When I disassembled it, they were completely clogged with a small fraction, which means they do not cut the grain, but chew it clogging up in the process. I was not lucky, apparently the millstones are roulette, someone gets the norms, someone is like mine. But it is hardly possible to change them, everything is riveted to the pulley.
Charlotte
Then the last chance - go to the prokofe forum and connect the pros.
Yuri K
Charlotte, not worth it)) I will wait for the arrival of the "fungus", so it will not be a shame to indulge in that forum Well, this nozzle will go for non-Turkish types of brewing

Aaaaaaa! Girls!!! I share, share my joy, zen, madness - whatever you want to call it! But now, while no one is at home, I just dance and sing, food around the apartment! I am in complete nirvana !!!
Today I received a coffee grinder with the USSR fungus from Avito! Disassembled, cleaned, assembled. Imagine, there is even a ball between the rod (guide) and the millstone! You don't need to finish anything !!!! And even the stamping with the price was perfectly preserved: "8p 50k" with the manufacturer's monogram!
Now I know what grinding in FLOUR is! It’s not comprehensible to the mind, so many years of this old woman - and will make any modern coffee grinder!
Rejoice with me please !!!

Congratulations! Great thing, eternal! How long does it take to grind into two portions?

And I try the element further, grinding 8 grams in 5 divisions for espresso. A little shallow, you need 6.

I am pleased with the opportunity to clean the millstones immediately after grinding.

I don’t even know yet, I just tried it. Well, the portions are different for everyone. Grinding into flour is not easy, but every single fragment goes into the millstones.
Over time, I think to make a new handle with a longer lever, then it will be easier.

Yuri, I'm also very happy. Per aspera ad astra))) Now you can easily deal with the Element or butt with the prod.
Let's put next to photos of our hard-won favorites. I do not in any way encroach on the recognized champion - the Armenian coffee grinder of Soviet times, but it seems to me that my well-groomed Chinese man grinds in the same flour. At the same time, without my participation (and I remember that there is a pseudo-grain).
It's just that such Armenian coffee grinders are a rarity, and there are a lot of people who care about fine grinding for a Turk.
I also need to take a picture on my fingers.

all the same, probably it is, can you imagine the degree of grinding which is on the rarity ???

The dry residue is 1/3 teaspoon, well, maybe half a spoon if you collect it, from 2 heaped teaspoons poured into cooking, the rest is drunk in the suspension of the drink itself))) This is something! The coffee itself felt like a thick, silky drink during tasting!
Here's what's left on the bottom of the glass (I'm sorry, a 500ml glass), this must be shown for sure!

Not that I would not believe it, just more information about cylinders comes across, but this one is hardly written about as Armenian, it is referred to as USSR and that's it. I myself was gradually looking for confirming information. It's amazing that I caught it in such a good condition, I monitored the announcement that appeared for the sale in time, but I could not grab luck by the tail
