Ingredients

wheat flour 320 g
sour cream 200 ml.
egg 1 PC.
sugar 3 tbsp. l.
soda 1/2 tsp
salt pinch
softened butter (margarine) 2 tbsp. l.
tea (milk, egg) for greasing biscuits

Cooking method

  • Stir the baking soda in sour cream, add the rest of the ingredients, knead the soft dough.
  • Now it remains to roll out, cut the biscuits, put on a baking sheet, prick with a fork, grease with a beaten egg or tea. Oven in an oven preheated to 180C for about 20 minutes (until golden brown).

I was leafing through an old notebook and came across a recipe that I had never used before. I decided to make up for lost time. The dough is easy to work with, not sticky, hands are straightforward. The biscuits themselves are tasty, but not sweet, which, in principle, is understandable with such an amount of sugar. It is quite possible to sprinkle with seeds, nuts or sesame seeds, it will be delicious.

I only baked without sugar, there was always a lot of jam, we loved the bite-in of the drink with jam.

One small note on today's sour cream - they are slightly acidic, this is not at all Soviet sour cream, which sour and rose with a bubble cap, because sour cream was made from natural milk.
Today's sour cream - most sour cream - hardly extinguishes soda. I am using baking powder.
