Mixed grain cookies Spikelet

Ingredients

wheat flour 140 g
finely ground corn flour 120 g
rice flour 60 g
small oatmeal 80 y. + 2 tbsp. l.
chicken eggs 2 pcs.
butter or margarine (please do not be greedy - butter is softer) 150 g
powdered sugar 200 BC
baking powder 1 tbsp. l.
Vanillin - optional Little

Cooking method

  • Melt butter or margarine. Add powdered sugar and grind until dissolved. Beat 2 eggs with a fork.
  • Combine flour, cereal and baking powder.
  • Add the dry mixture to the oil mixture and stir. The dough should be like very thick sour cream (I didn't have enough of the initial ingredients and I added 2 tbsp of flakes - I'm sorry, I decided not to weigh).
  • Spread on a baking sheet with a wet teaspoon at a great distance from each other. Bake at 200 degrees until golden brown.

Note

I wanted to bake corn biscuits for tea, but there was very little corn flour.

After a little thought, I decided to conduct a small experiment. Looking ahead, I will note that it was a success. This is how the cookie recipe came about, which I called "spikelet". Flour of all kinds was taken by "Kudesnitsa", cereals - "Clear Sun No. 3".

It tastes very delicate, crumbly, but you can safely hold it in your hand - it does not crumble like corn. So it's even good that I didn't have enough cornmeal today))))). Plus, cooking time is very short. An excellent option for evening tea / coffee.
