And cooked orange with peels. Not really. The crusts are very vigorous. I did it again with four boiling points for 1-2 minutes. Probably need to boil longer. But the next orange will be without peels!

First went to traditional jam, but there is no feijoy jam ...
Hairpin, miracles ... last year I laid out a recipe for an incredibly tasty thing (in fact, jam) from feijoa, and now it is gone, I have not climbed everything ... If you are interested, look here (I lost this recipe):
🔗
Crochet
Girls, and this morning I found in the refrigerator a jar of Polish-style jam (zucchini, apples, black currants, gooseberries) cooked in a confiture, I cooked it per 1 kg. berry mixture-200 gr. sugar, sugar was "greedy" only because I cooked quite a bit for testing, I thought it would "go away" in a week, but one jar was still lost in the refrigerator, and today I found it. I opened it, smelled it, tasted it, the taste is the same as that of freshly brewed one. I would never have thought that jam with such a proportion of sugar would be stored (closed with an ordinary plastic lid). It lasted about 4 months.
Hairpin
Crochet!
Don't be angry, I'll bring your feijoa with white wine here, or I'll lose it later.

Feijoa in zest and vanilla syrup
What do you need:
Feijoa-1 kg.
Brown sugar-1 kg.
2 large lemons
2 vanilla pods
1 glass of white wine

What to do:
Remove the zest from the lemons with a vegetable peeling knife, cut into thin strips. Squeeze juice from lemons. Combine sugar, wine and zest, bring to a boil, add vanilla pods cut alongside. Cook for 5 minutes. Cut off the tops and "butts" of the feijoa, cut the pulp lengthwise into quarters, pour over lemon juice, add to the syrup. Bring to a boil, remove the foam, cook over low heat for 10 minutes, set aside for 4 hours. Bring to a boil again, cook for 10 minutes, set aside for 4 hours. Repeat 2 more times. Pour into jars.

Now about what I did. I replaced brown sugar with regular white one, instead of two vanilla pods I put one (I had only one single pod in the package), and finally, instead of white wine, I poured water. Then I did everything strictly according to the recipe. Girls, to say that it turned out awesomely tasty is to say nothing ... After a three-day stay in the refrigerator, the jam thickened great (apparently because of a fair amount of lemon juice, which I personally got 150 ml.)

I liked the idea ...
Scarecrow
Class, I also liked the idea, but I'm not going to clean up the wine! This is the same cinus in the recipe!

Well, in short, I poured this brown slurry into jars and am going to try it with strength. Maybe figs with them, with these divorces ... Or maybe I have some kind of sensor knocked out ... Although it is unlikely ...

The same story. I tried it, but I'm not a ladyboy. Gave it to her husband. Tried it with coffee spoons. My husband tried it once ... two ... three and took a dessert spoon. Well, I ate half. Said to cook some more.So the milk layering doesn't seem to be a glitch.

Let's go further.
1. The first thought was to pour it into small silicone molds and into the oven. What if you get something like a ladybug?
2. Stuff the tubes / nuts.
3. How can you remove sugar? Lemon ... well milk ... Probably not ...

Girls, I also cooked this "Milk confiture" the other day. When I poured it into the jars, the consistency was quite normal, but after cooling, everything was sugared so that it was not possible to pick this mass out of the jar, I chipped it off with a knife and fed it to my husband. He likes.
Hairpin, and how long did you cook this milk dessert in time?
Hairpin
Well, not 35-45 minutes for sure. About 1 hour 15 minutes - 1 hour 20 minutes. Well, up to 1 hour 30 minutes did not make it, exactly. When it turned ooooooooooo brown, I turned it off.
Crochet
Hairpin
Wow ! I cooked for 45 minutes and now I can't pick it out, I can imagine what would have happened if I had just added a little more time ... Katya, what consistency did you end up with?
Hairpin
During the first day, the consistency was easy-spoon-pick-out-from-the-jar. And today (the second day) ... I'll go and feed my husband ...

And today (the second day) ... I'll go and feed my husband ...

And today I cooked orange jam according to the recipe from the instructions, for which I did not like it very much, and it can be called jam with a big stretch, the syrup turned out so little that half of the oranges in the jar remained "bald" ... and the taste .. . in short, something is not right. Although the oranges themselves are wonderful, sweet and sour and very, very juicy ... next time I will cook according to my recipe, according to a proven one ... damn it, I also threw a vanilla pod there (as in the instructions), as it seemed to me , he (the pod) is completely useless there ... here in the "Milk confiture" the vanilla pod came in very handy, but here ... oh, well I have 5 more pieces left, although I did not translate the last one ... Now I want try some of this orange jam with a blender, maybe in this form it will look more like jam ...
Hairpin
She fed.
On the second day in the refrigerator, the mixture has a medium-easy-spoon-pick-out-from-jar consistency with clear results of sugar decrystallization (sugar does not creak on the teeth). The husband said that it was better.

I'll have to run to Tortyzhke, maybe she will advise that.

She also made orange jam. After the one with crusts. A kilogram of peeled orange, half slices + 800 grams of sugar + 200 grams of water. Four boils with complete cooling. It turned out to be a fairy tale. I don't like thick, but this is liquid-transparent with slices of oranges. I'll have to upload a photo.

I had: 1 kg. oranges +1/2 lemons + 500 gr. sugar + a pinch of cinnamon + vanilla pod + 150 ml. water-turned out:
a) complete bullshit
b) I want too much from him
Husband liked it, mom too, and my daughters and I 🔗... Now I'm going to "problender", then I'll tell you what happened, once I reanimated a not very successful jam in this way, but after resuscitation it turned out to be a fairy tale ... for adults, because I also added orange liqueur there ...
Hairpin
Crochet, garbage is a relative concept. If I'm not confusing anything, then you like thick jam. And I can't stand that. My idea of jam is the consistency of ... liqueur, I guess. That is, you tilt the jar, and the jam level almost immediately tries to get horizontal. A syrup with a claim to transparency. And in this almost transparent syrup, pieces of fruit float. It is unlikely that it will last for a long time, but ... I have already saved up a small collection of liter jars - peach, feijoe, orange, pear and orange.
My daughter didn't like that orange jam, which I really liked. She said "Mom, it's SOURCE !!!"
So let's explain the term "Bullshit" with photographs. And then it may turn out that what I call wonderful, you call garbage, and vice versa!
The plans include kiwi and ... and ... orange jam (against your orange jam, you have it thick). 1 kg of carrots + 1 kg of lemons + 2 kg of sugar + 300 grams of water. And we'll see!
Crochet
Hairpin
OK! Agreed! There will be photos ... a little later ...
And I love jam ... well ... not that thick (this is meeeeee too), well, not that liquid ... in general, of a mediocre consistency ... although everyone has their own concept of mediocre, too, you say "the consistency of liqueur", I remember I had a liqueur, which we knocked out of the bottle, after the liqueur was "knocked out", it was possible to take spoons and forward, that is, liqueur-liqueur is also different ...
I’m thinking about something else ... The instructions for the confiture maker say that if you consume unrefined sugar, the jam can turn sour, is it that it turns out that unrefined cane sugar is not there? And I was about to put it in the jam ...

Nah ... I'd better go look for the Lady's recipe ... And what if it turns out that my sugar is not good? And what to do? The less you know, the more you sleep.
I have a tragedy ...
Around noon, my husband jumped up and said that until I killed him out of the light because of this unfortunate multi-hunter, we would go and buy him ... and so that it would be worse for me ... and then a slow cooker (until the New Year) .. and that until the next New Year there are no devices ... and people live with normal wives ... and that they live only with a microwave oven, and everything is fine ... and that Pushkin was wrong ... the old woman needs was to change, not a trough ... and in general he turned gray with me ...
AND THE MACHINE WON'T START !!! INTRODUCING? !!!

I boiled condensed milk in a confiture box. I set the time for 45 minutes on the dessert program, but cooked for 28 minutes, as the scapula began to creak.
Milk 400 ml Prostokvashino. granulated sugar 250-300 gr. First, she poured milk, as soon as it boiled, she began to add sugar little by little so that it had time to dissolve before the next pouring.

Hairpin, what I want to say, I poured sugar, which in my opinion is called three times sweeter (there are some additives in it) my husband bought it, If not for this, then condensed milk would generally be just super, but some small, small ones come across , like grains of sand, blotches, I think these additives did not dissolve. And by consistency, not liquid, and not such that the spoon stood, well, I already told you about the taste. So try it.

To translate mango at our prices into jam is simply blasphemous, I would hang myself, I love fresh mango, especially Thai! Although, it happens that I have "blown away", and in winter it washes away some exoticism to buy "for jam", for example, recently, for example, I dreamed about a banana-coconut theme (when I was preparing something like that for a very long time), but it is again cheaper from mango ... at least in our area.Hairpin, and can you where you buy mango for "cheap"? Dear owners of the confiture jar, please tell me, did your machines fail over time? I have such a period now - I really want to buy something useful, I don't even know what exactly. And when I saw a confiture box at a discount in Eldorado, I immediately thought that it was necessary to buy it. True, her husband says that something will probably break with her, especially if she is from Eldorado. Please develop my doubts.

2. How much is the discount? (curiously, they seem to have been out of sale for half a year) ...

With a discount it is 5400 rubles. Maybe you don't have them in Moscow for half a year, but we have them in Ulyanovsk. Nobody is hunting them here.

Mine seems to be whole. The season has worked. The jam is delicious. Peaches with apricots have already been opened and eaten, yesterday they opened a plum with walnuts. I am satisfied, although I bought it as a toy. I thought that I would play a couple of times, I would be unhappy and quit. It turned out. that cooks well, as I like.

Trendy and I cooked a salad in a confiture, yes, yes, a salad, and on page 13 you can see, I cooked condensed milk, jam, of course, jam, and on time it cooks much faster than on the stove, and the quality is good, everything stays, does not sour , does not explode.
If there is an opportunity to buy (for the money), I think that such an acquisition will not be superfluous. But it's up to you to decide.
Trendy
Urrrraaaa !!!! Her husband gave me her! They bought it together, but he paid. I haven’t had time to try it yet, because we just arrived from the store, but I’m already satisfied. And consultants in Eldorado are a special case. I ask the girl to show me the device. She asks: "Should I tell you about him?" I say no, I know everything, I just want to look before buying. And then she shows me the confiture and says that she has no idea what kind of device it is and how it works. And what could she tell me about her? I had to tell myself what you can do in it.

Today in Moscow I saw a confiture box in Eldorado. However, I did not pay attention to the price. Either Eldorado has big leftovers, or this is just another "scam" about discontinuation. How many times have multicooker been "discontinued", and then appeared at a different price

And I'm all spinning around the carrot and lemon jam. I saw the idea itself on the Good Kitchen website. There were 1 kg of carrots + 1 kg of lemons + 2 kg of sugar. It seems to be like a tangerine. But if you just pass the carrots through a food processor and mix with sliced lemon, you get jam ... And I want a kind of live and liquid ... You can put the carrots through a juicer ...
