When I make sausage in the oven, I stick a mechanical meat thermometer into the loaf, but it all seems to me that he is lying godlessly. The digital one will probably be more accurate, only I can't understand how it works and find instructions for it in Russian. It seems like you can set the maximum temperature ...

why then the cord?
Aunt Besya
But I think that it connects to the stand, and the thermometer itself communicates with the stand through sensors. That is, you can go 30 meters by putting the thermometer in your pocket, no?

Come on Well, just from the kitchen to another room, why sit there, watch? Or sunbathe in the country while the meat is baked

he measures the pace. up to 130 * C, that is, it is no longer suitable for baking.
And having separate thermometers for meat and for just the temperature in the oven (for example, for baking) is not always convenient. Or how?
vedmacck
It's good for the oven to have a separate one. To stand there all the time.
In addition, for meat / baking, one more is needed, and for those who are engaged in caramel, another, since different measurement intervals are required there (our confectioners will clarify this).
Maybe there is one that shows from zero to two hundred and a half.

Yes, Olya. I did not take this into account. I took it for meat
Anastasenok
Olga VB, because the temperature is measured inside a piece of meat, for example, or bread. Bread is 98 degrees and meat is 70-75. Is not it so? Why more than 130?
Candy light
Good morning! When we talk about thermometers, I want to get some advice right away. I need a thermometer to measure the temperature of a liquid. When making yogurt I use ordinary mercury, but every time I get nervous - what if it bursts? I want a budget option, since I don't need it anywhere else (maybe I don't need it yet)

Bread 98 degrees
Can a meat thermometer be used to measure the temperature in bread?
Antonovka
Candy light,
I have some kind of plastic without mercury (something shows a blue temperature), special for milk - I can't find a link now
kirch
I measure with one thermometer in bread, in meat, and everywhere. Except, of course, the oven. It’s probably electronic, I don’t know, I press the button - and the pace. appears on the screen
grinaty
Candy light, look here Meat probe.
There the Chef has a link to Ali Express.
I bought such a thermometer about 2 years ago, it is very convenient to use. Probably the same as Lyudmila

kirch
Yes, I have such
Aygul
Candy lightif you need a budget option, look at thermometers for wine, beer, which are up to 40 degrees. They are not mercury, but alcoholic. And if used only for making yoghurt, this scale is sufficient.

I use. Teskomovsky from ham. For yogurt and an approximate measurement of the water temperature, it will probably work too (there is not a very convenient scale).
Candy light
Thank you very much for your advice! I went to look.

A small tool is a big help in the kitchen

I would never have thought that such a simple thing as four round pipes connected by literally one screw can be a useful accessory in our kitchen. But it is so. With the foldable stand, the waste bag can be conveniently placed in an upright position.

Also, the device is suitable for bags with a zip-lock:

Kitchen little things (2)

And on this stand, you can dry both glass and plastic bottles:

You don't even need to buy, but do it yourself.

Rada-dms
A good thing! Simple and versatile!

And in a bachelor kitchen, even socks can be dried.

You can also put soft bags with milk in the refrigerator in this thing. We urgently need our hands!

For soft bags with milk in Auchan (I think that in other similar stores too) oval plastic jugs are sold - very convenient. I found a link offhand:

Can be put on the refrigerator door.
Vinochek
Well, the most budgetary option is to cut a 2 liter bottle) also stands on the door.
Taia
I do not store milk in an opened package, I bought a glass jug for this purpose - I pour it into it right away.
It fits well in the refrigerator door. I think this is more rational than buying a jug stand for the package.

Kitchen little things (2)
Chardonnay
We buy milk from a local manufacturer - with a short shelf life, so our milk is practically not stored - a package leaves in the evening. And putting the bag in a jug and cutting off the corners of the bag makes it very convenient to pour milk! And you don't need to wash anything - you took out the package from the jug, threw it out - and the beauty!
Taia
And I constantly have leftover milk in the fridge. I send them to bake bread. I knocked about with packages, and then bought a jug, she herself did not expect that it would be convenient.

Deva, pampering these lemongrass if you need 2 drops of juice, I will cut off a slice and squeeze out my fingers, about storage, too, not ice
forget it will grow moldy, but if you eat a lemon in two or three days, then it is convenient and pleasant to store it in such a thing (there are two in a set, give one immediately).
