And that's not bad. But still it is better to skillfully wield a knife, and even better to throw.
By the way, I recently watched the "Victory Apron" program on TV. In Australia, a competition is held for amateur chefs who perform a number of difficult tasks. The winner is awarded the title of chef.
In one such program, the contestants were given the task of peeling and cutting onions with extremely sharp knives, and they were warned about the sharpness of the knives. Each got a bag of onions weighing 5-7 kg. So while I was watching, two dropped out of the competition due to cuts. Then I got distracted. Can you imagine what a difficult competition with onion tears it was.
GenyaF
Light, in general, I always look at the cutting art of professionals with admiration. I myself regularly bleed my fingers)))
Wildebeest
GenyaF, on the "Food" channel there is a section on cutting poultry, fish, etc. What sharp knives the master has !!! He cuts fish into fillets effortlessly, as if cutting soft butter.
Scarecrow
Wildebeest,

I have such knives. The husband is a maniac. He usually spends several hours sharpening all my knives. Then everyone is afraid to approach them))). My guests know that my knives must be handled very carefully))). But after that I can't cut anything normally anywhere - they knock out blunt knives))).

Oh, I actually came to boast about such a thing. so I like her ...

I have such a sink as in the second photo, only not stainless steel, but black granite. She is without a wing. I generally like such a pallet, even if there was a wing))). Made according to the principle of a drip tray for coffee machines. The top is perforated stainless steel, the bottom is thick plastic. I washed vegetables / fruits, herbs, a grater (I usually don't put it in the PMM), cutting boards (I have an everlasting problem - you always wash them with your hands and they are wet, wipe them every time - nafig), etc. - I put them on this pallet. Excess moisture of the glass down, nothing will melt. And if you need to free up extra space on the countertop, I just put this pallet in the closet or put it on the edge behind the tap (then I can show it in my kitchen). Blanco firm. they are even cheaper, on top, too, plastic similar to wavy sand in the desert (hollows for water drainage).
Babushka
Nata, How interesting. I need this. And the size?
Scarecrow
Babushka,

It is rather big (in the photo you can see it in comparison with the sink, and the sink is 50cm, like mine). Size 36.5x42.5 cm

Pallet?! It costs 6 thousand now. 5940. I took it - it was more expensive. 6 over. But also keep in mind that it is stainless steel. Moreover, a weighty stainless steel.
Lanochka007

I took in Blanco's company store, I can give a link in a personal if necessary.

And this is how the plastic looks and costs 2500r .:

Mixer
Natasha, I sincerely wish that your mixer only pleases, the design is convenient, they say they have changed the inner filling. I bought 11 years ago, I was worn out to repair, it was constantly leaking, repairs cost a lot, and after a few months everything is new. The last time was half a year, and I could not find a worthy replacement until it poured out at all, that the water in the kitchen was shut off after each use, then somewhere I heard that there were a lot of complaints, and the inside was replaced.

And I, by my nivosity, assumed that only I use such pallets

I have in permanent use a pallet with a plastic grid, measuring 46 x 30, bought in the plastic dishes department for 242 rubles! The grid is removable, easy to wash. And I like that the cells in the lattice are large
I use it almost every day, for large things, jugs, pots, transparent glass, etc. ... and there is a plddon on the table, next to the sink.

I also want to show my "tricks" for convenience in the kitchen

1. Napkins for cleaning the table.
Such napkins absorb water very well, a lot of liquid from the surface of the table, they can be wrung out well by hand, they collect well associated litter, crumbs from the surface, and so on ... after which the tabletop remains simply damp, not wet.
Napkins are perfectly washed with ordinary soap. I wash them daily, at the end of the day, when all the problems in the kitchen have already been solved, the napkin has time to dry completely overnight. And once a week I send a napkin to the bathhouse along with washing the towels.

Showing off my stocks of different colors. There is a thin layer of foam rubber inside the napkin, fabric on top.
The last photo shows a "washed" napkin, I was in the bath - I have been using this napkin for about six months.

Kitchen little things (2) Kitchen little things (2) Kitchen little things (2)

2. Napkins for drying vegetables, herbs, herbs, berries
The napkins are large in size, about 0.3-0.4 mm thick.
I use them especially often in summer, when you need to rinse and dry a lot of vegetables and berries for preservation. The wipes absorb water very well and then hold it in the thickness of the fabric.
And all year round I dry greens on them after washing, and vegetables for salads and cutting.
Napkins are perfectly washed in the washer, I put them in the car and on the express program for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry well.

I show:
New napkins from stock.
Used wipes: dyed with berries and juices from them and after washing. These napkins have been "used" for many years (about a dozen for sure), but I still use them

Girls, maybe someone wrote, the forum is very large, I wash napkins for the kitchen quickly, without straining. In the basin where I pour hot water from the tap for my dishes, I add 1 tables. spoon of powder, 1 tablespoon of bleaching, 1 hour spoon of vegetable oil, immerse 2 towels and one napkin, top with a lid. For the night. Rinse with a drop of vinegar in the morning. White, clean. And they do not deteriorate for a long time. Some towels are 5 years old. There are favorites. Bought back in the days of the USSR. The grandmother of the granddaughter cooked for the dowry.

Julia, I buy in hardware stores and departments, for example, in Perekrestok, Pyaterochka, Spara.
Sometimes napkins for fruit I order in ozone, the prices are different, but the ease of use and the service life justify the cost in full.

There is no opportunity to re-read everything. I would be grateful if they point to the author of the review! We wrote about glass teapots. Due to their round shape, they keep the temperature well. I had such a teapot lying idle. I thought that they were released only for beauty. Well, what kind of tea leaves can be obtained in a teapot made of thin glass? However, tea is brewed well and the water temperature remains high for a relatively long time.

ikom,

The mixer is 5 years old))). He stood in the old kitchen, now they have moved to a new one. There was a moment I started to dig in, some kind of ceramic garbage inside something there, something (I don't remember already). My husband did it, everything works. The design is incredibly comfortable, so I didn't even think about it.

and I saw a silicone mat, like yours with a lattice in Fizman
Admin, Tanya, and where did you get such a kettle, I'm looking for such a glass, and inside a strainer of plastics
TatianaSa
Natalia, we sell such in coffee shops. I have a glass strainer inside too. If you take it, take it so that the nose is just above the lid. Then the last drops of tea will not flow down the spout.
Bast1nda
Similar dryers with steel like the pallet of a coffee machine are in Metro, the price is something in the region of 600-800, also stainless steel. Comfortable, but I was too big, although I liked it.
There are many options of this kind, I also look after, but at the price you can find this device more humane. I also met plastic versions.

Or, in kiosk tents where tea and coffee are sold by weight, at supermarkets. About the spout correctly - it is better that the long one is above the teapot lid.
In my teapot the strainer is inserted by a "spring", it is imperceptible, but the tea leaves do not crawl - I like it this way

Admin, thanks for the story about napkins, they are comfortable, but I buy a roll of cloth, I tore it off and threw it away after a while.
But I'll take a look, it will be more economical!

Girls, I have a question, who is building what on the kitchen table?
A tablecloth is built at the top, and a small oilcloth tablecloth on top. Tired of it!
I want something convenient in return!
mowgli
I buy different oilcloths, depending on the mood, sometimes with ruffle, sometimes without
TatianaSa
Lily, I have a layer of thermal insulator on my table and a teflon-coated tablecloth on top. Oilcloth does not look. Expensive vesch. Because of the thermal insulator, you can put hot things on the table without supports. The tablecloth also does not move on the table because of the thermal insulator. It sticks to the table, and the other fleecy part sticks to the tablecloth. I have been using it for 2 years now, nothing has worn anywhere. Really like. It is impossible to wash, and it is not necessary, it is perfectly wiped with a damp cloth.
Kokoschka
Recently I saw an oilcloth, with a wide openwork, it costs 1000 rubles, beautiful, the saleswoman claimed that it was very strong!
I don’t know, I bought 200 rubles per meter, then in Auchan I bought 300 rubles with a ruche, which is 1000
Tanya take a picture!

I have a stretched fleece cover on my table, sewn too very convenient, it has long been so fitted, I put something thin under the cover!
TatianaSa
Lily, my tablecloth cost me 5300 two years ago. But I have never regretted that I bought it. Throw off the phone number in a personal, I'll throw off a photo on your vibe or watsap. I can't send photos in PM.
Kokoschka
TatianaSa, I don't have them, maybe an email?
Wow, 5300 is probably very good !!!

I have a transparent oilcloth, also of good quality (it’s not immediately visible) .. for 3-4 years the same, no wrinkles, no cuts .. down I change the tablecloth (depending on the season and the holiday, a new year. . easter .. spring-summer _just a tablecloth in my 3 tiradaktels is for me to change every other day ... a table 2 m long .. torment ironing ..
