Of course it's not a secret! I always fry in Zlato vegetable oil.
And the sides are ruddy, since I always turn the pies on their side when I finish frying on both sides. First I fry one side, and then the other side for another 2-3 minutes. In order not to fall, I lean the pies tightly against each other. The very first one leans against the wall of the pan, the rest hold onto it. That's all :-)))
