Good afternoon, I'm also new to this topic, although I have used other multi models for more than 1 year. At the moment, I purchased a 7-in-1 model. Girls, tell me, has anyone tried to bake a curd casserole? If yes, share your experience, I will be very grateful

Hello everyone!
I have been using the Instant Pot Duo 60 for over two years now, and now I got the new Ultra model, which can be set to the desired temperature and time, which they say is just right for sous vide. It was because of this function that I bought a new model, because everything suits me in the old one, but one pot is no longer enough in the kitchen, it is more convenient to cook in two.
I cook almost everything in Instant Pot: soups, rice, meat, pilaf, boil eggs, potatoes, vegetables, use it as a double boiler, make desserts. I even made one pot of pasta for an experiment.
I quickly got used to setting the time. Now I want to find new recipes and experiment. Before that, I had not visited the site, but I often heard about it in the video from Tanya Makarenko (I really love her YouTube channel).
Irusha
And I have Instant Pot Duo 60 and also bought Ultra because of baking and temperature control, I really like it, the biscuit and ham turned out good, the lid is more convenient.

And I have Instant Pot Duo 60 and also bought Ultra because of baking ... biscuit and ham turned out good ...

Please share how you make a biscuit? In duo, I only cooked a couple of different cheesecakes, crème brulee, curd.

Irusha
I tried it on bake mode, using quail eggs. There are also things for steaming on Amazon, I can't insert a link, you can search as uxcell Stainless Steel 3 Legs Steamer Rack Food Steaming Stand. 3 plates are placed in the pan, 6 khinkals are included on one plate, steam for 15 minutes.
Franky
Irusha, Grace,
We (in "Europe") do not sell Ultra yet. Only the old models fell in price ...
It looks great. I want to ... I'll have to wait again until the 220-volt electrical part is "designed".

Mate
Hello girls! So today the Amazon put it under the door for me. Until I understand what to do with it. Previously, only Panasonic multicooker was. Can you please tell me if you can see the recipes for her?
Franky
Mate,
read this topic from the beginning, or at least here
Instant Pot multicooker pressure cooker: reviews and recipes # 52

Since then (2016), the popularity of this saucepan has increased dramatically.
So if you are a little friends with English, then the Internet will simply swell with recipes for this saucepan.
There is also a lot of information, ideas, recipes, etc.

Good afternoon, Franky .. Can you tell me where you can buy instant pot in Ukraine? I've been searching the Internet for so much and found only one and that 110v.
Franky
ilonatar,
judging by numerous reports and responses from the main seller in Europe (Instant Pot UK in England), the European version of 220 volts has been sold out everywhere since November last year. So it’s not surprising that the rest of the sellers also ran out of stock ...
They console everyone by promising that they are about to appear again, and even explicitly hint at new models (but do not say which ones). In winter, it was about March, now about April.
You can regularly look here for news

or to the English Amazon - as soon as it appears there, then the ice is broken.

Can you tell me the stew recipe please?
Yesterday my miracle came — a saucepan of insta sweat) I'm mastering!
Rice porridge was a test dish - just perfect!

LenaLana
Maybe someone knows when the pressure cooker will be on sale in Europe? I chose, decided that I wanted this one, but it turns out that it has not been on sale for a long time. Does it make sense to wait or there won't be another half year ...
Velma
LenaLanaUK Amazon has this £ 114.99 pressure cooker

amazon.co.uk/Instant-Pot-Electric-Pressure-Stainless/dp/B00OP26T4K/ref=sr_1_5?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1536826278&sr=1-5&keywords=instant+pot

LenaLana
Velma, thanks, otherwise I just looked in German. I thought they were not on sale, that a new model was invented. The duo that the English Amazon turns out to be the past model, judging by the number of reviews.

I realized that there used to be a suite and a duo. The yogurt regimen was duo. And the temperature control and baked goods in the luxury, right?
And for the price, were they cheaper? It seemed to me that less than 100 euros in German were once sold. Is this a good price for £ 115?

You also need to understand how to order, it turns out through an intermediary, if your country is not on the list ...

Thank you
Velma
LenaLana, there (on the Amazon) in the comparative table nothing is said about baking in the suite. The duo has all the features of the suite, plus 3 additional ones.
I bought a multicooker in January 15, that is, 2 months after it appeared on the Amazon, for 229 pounds. I have not seen her cheaper than the current price ...
Franky
LenaLana,
On German Amazon Duo is less than 100 euros, I don't remember (Lux, maybe). In my opinion, before disappearing, the lowest price was 129.00 or 119, and before that for a long time it was 179 (I bought for this price)
It seems to me that 115 pounds (about 129 euros) is still okay. but the question is whether delivery is included there.
The English Amazon is selling an "old" model, as far as I know.
LenaLana
Franky, thanks, is there any new model expected?
Franky
LenaLanaI honestly don't know. There are new models in America, but they seem to be in no hurry to make "European" versions. Somewhere in this discussion I already gave a link to the English InstantPot-group on Facebook - they sit at the "source", so you can look there, maybe some infa will appear
kikwit
Oooh ... My favorite saucepan in Europe, and I didn't know. I used it for 4 years, while I lived in Canada. Only in Canada is it much cheaper ...
For pot owners, I recommend the Facebook group: Instant Pot: Recipes, Ideas, Tips. There is a storehouse of recipes for this particular model of pressure cooker.
Franky
kikwit, thanks for the information - the group is really interesting, I will look there.

Instant Pot strides the planet!
Anyway, that's what Google said in yesterday's mailing list. According to him, (Google is it, he or it?) This saucepan is the most numerous on the planet. But 5 years ago, when I bought it, it was well, completely unknown, and even now, among my colleagues, no one has heard of such a * prick *. 2 years ago, she suddenly appeared in Wall-Mart, I bought her for her mom, and what? She doesn't use it at all! And little sister too!
3 months ago at Costco, this is our small optic, they put up a wall 3 meters high from the boxes with the latest version. It seems that everything is already sold out. The price is quite affordable 119 dollars.
About the impossibility to use 110 in countries with 220. Connect through a transformer. By the way, on Amazon it is now on sale and goes for 119 green, the latest version.
I cook a lot in it and don't bother with the sealing gum. I just fill the lid with water and vinegar for a while. I make yogurt and kefir, I cook porridge, especially for breakfast, but baking does not work, unfortunately.
So Instant Patovtsy of all countries, unite.
dopleta
Instant Pot, of course, are very good pots (I also have one, duo 7 in 1), but if we talk objectively, then we must admit that admiration for them is explained to a large extent by the fact that the range of such multicooker in the West is very narrow and you can choose almost more not of anything. In Russia, the choice is much greater, and the multicooker-pressure cooker is absolutely no worse, and the prices are lower. And if you buy from America or Canada, and for them a transformer (and for such a technique you need a very expensive transformer at a price not lower than the multicooker itself - I have experience with burnt out American multicooker), then in general the game is not worth the candle. We know of 15 models, if not more, of very good multicooker-pressure cookers. I often visit America and, being interested in any kitchen technique, have been studying this issue for a long time. So we must admit that the choice is still greater in Russia, yes. And this is easily explained - there, in the West, they cook less at home, and the demand for such equipment is much lower.
Gatta blanca
Hello everyone!

I choose between Instant Pot DUO Plus 60 and the next model - Instant Pot Ultra. The second was more pleasant for the design and the pleasant blue display.DUO Plus 60 flashes red. Those who have these models, please tell us:

1. What is the difference between the lids and how the Ultra lid is more convenient (I read about this in the topic). It says here that in
The DUO Plus 60 can be removed completely or fastened on. It is very convenient - it was a little annoying at Shtebe that you always had to look for where to put the lid.

2. Can the pre-heating be switched off? I mean load the food, turn on the desired mode, immediately turn off the heating and leave. So that the food is cooked, and then it does not stay warm, but cool down. For me, this is a very necessary function, because in Panasonic, which did not have this, I often burned a forgotten / cooked porridge in advance

3. I understood from the topic that it is difficult to buy bowls for both models, but it is already possible

Thank you

Irusha
Gatta blanca, the main thing is that the Instant Pot Ultra has an Ultra mode that allows you to set the temperature, I use it for suvid, the heating can be turned off.
Gatta blanca
Irusha, thanks!

Can the auto-heating mode be turned off just before the start of the program, not after?

Did you have a previous model? What makes the lid more convenient? In the video I saw that it can also be removed completely or fastened to the cartoon.
Irusha
Yes, you can turn it off before starting the program. I have the first model and ULTRA, the first one needs to close the valve itself, while the ULTRA closes automatically, that's the whole difference in the covers.
Gatta blanca
Bummer
I had just decided, was going to order Ultra, when I found out that this model is not yet produced for Europe and it is not known when it will be.

The American model is manufactured for 110-120V voltage. If you take it, you need to buy a converter. I don't want to be so fooled.

By the way, the Ultra model can adjust the temperature with an accuracy of 3 degrees, and the Max - up to 1.

For Europe, only two models are produced - Duo and Lux, in which there is no temperature control.
Irusha
ULTRA has 1 degree steps.
Gatta blanca
Irusha, Thank you!

Could you tell me why you chose her and not the "Max" model?

Here's what the manufacturer writes:

"Developed to provide unlimited control in pressure and non-pressure cooking conditions. You can adjust different parameters based on your favorite recipes and preferences. Can be used for sous vide cooking with a temperature accuracy of +/- 5 ° F or 3 ° C That is, translating into Russian, the accuracy or error of the displayed readings is 3 degrees.

And about Max: "And, with the Sous Vide program, you can create restaurant-quality dishes in the comfort of your home. The accurate temperature control is within +/- 1 ° C or 1.8 ° F for perfect cooking results, retaining the vitamins and minerals from within the food, natural flavors are intensified, food is healthier, more tender, juicy and tastier ".
Irusha
Gatta blanca, I bought it as soon as it came out, MAX appeared much later.
Gatta blanca
Irusha, Can I turn off the auto heating in Duo too?
Irusha
Gatta blanca, in DUO auto-heating does not turn off, at least in mine. Why is Instant Pot needed? Such a large selection for 220, at one time I was tormented to buy for 110 at least somehow approaching what is on 220.
biankausa
I bought a ceramic container for only $ 14 in Target and so far only used it for rice porridge. It is only slightly hot compared to the one cooked in steel. What did not like it, some kind of non-washable whitish coating. I don't want to rub it with a sponge, but it doesn't come off with a sponge.
Victorov
Hello chef

Tell me where it is possible to buy an instant pot for 8 liters (220w)?

P.S. Only 5.5 liters on amazon
dopleta
Victorov, even the manufacturer did not meet at 8 liters. I saw the maximum at 8 quarts - this is much less than eight liters. And Ali has some good ones.
Victorov
Yes, everything you saw, 8 quart - 7.5 liters

Hello everyone. We bought Instant Pot, there are no special oohs and oohs, because at first there was a Panasonic multicooker, and then Steba, and now there is an idea of what is good and what is bad). Here's the question. I could not find instructions in Russian anywhere, I had to translate it myself - I'm spreading it. The table describes in detail what depends on the applied temperature regime and what it should be used for. And nowhere is it said how to apply pressure modes. A feature of the model is the ability to change programs (temperature, pressure, time). It turns out that information about the optimal pressure can only be found in recipes? Anyone have experience cooking the same food at the same temperature and different pressure?

Girls, owners of Instant pot, please tell me the Manual button on the Duo model, what is it for? What parameters can be set? I wanted to buy, but I looked at the German and English Amazon, Instant Sweats don't have such a button. So you thought about it?
And who can be aware of the quality of which is better - Steba or Instant pot?

Manual button on Duo
My 6-liter DUO60 V3 doesn't have this button

But in general Manual means manual control.
inga
dopleta, I am addressing you as a professional (I'm serious) - please advise an alternative to Instant Sweat. My old slow cooker Brand is on its last legs. I am looking for a replacement. I would like a stainless steel bowl of 6 liters, you can also have another one, but with a high-quality durable coating. Also, so that the temperature and cooking time can be adjusted for yourself. As for the function of the pressure cooker, it is certainly good, but in my opinion they are not so durable. What do you think?
And this Manual button was found on older models. I didn’t think that she could set the temperature.
dopleta
I'm not a professional at all, Inga. But thanks for the trust, although I will not justify it. After all, in order to confidently advise something, you need to test all the models. And this is hardly possible: I am not sure that even in our numerous forum there will be a person who has worked on all multicooker and has determined the best one. Therefore, I advise you to go to this topic. https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=158832.0, list your requirements and create your own opinion based on the owners' feedback.

Instant pot of the old Duo model from 2017 is on sale in Kazakhstan. Instructions, recipes, menus, all in Russian

dopletathanks for the tip

dopleta, excuse me for jerking you, but the last question: of those that you have - which are your favorites?
dopleta
Inga, pull on health. Now, of all mine, I mostly use this one. And my Brand is still in use. I'm thinking about buying one that is in the middle photo here Club of fans of pipel and gravitsap "Abashdi to buy!" # 10555, this is a pressure cooker-slow cooker-dehydrator-air fryer.
inga
dopleta, Larissa, I'm hesitating between Steba and Instant pot. You can set the temperature at Steba, and you can buy a new Instant pot in England from hand for 50-60 pounds, it turns out cheaper than a cube. I think to adapt this apparatus for cheese making. But I also made cheese in my old brand ... Do you have Steba? How is its quality in comparison with Instant pot?
dopleta
Inga, you decide. I don’t have the staff, but in extreme cases it can be repaired in Vilnius under warranty? Instant Pot is unlikely. Although it does not break (pah-pah-pah!).
inga
dopleta, I looked at Ninja Foodi - I liked it very much, they already have an English Amazon. So, what you can take, only the price bites, but soon Black Friday ...

First impressions of the saucepan are very positive. It works very quietly that I even doubted if it works. Then I looked, the pimp got up, she made a squeak and the countdown began
Today I cooked round rice on the automatic program. The rice turned out great! In a rice cooker, this did not work.
