Strawberry and red currant sorbet

Strawberry and red currant sorbet

Ingredients

frozen strawberries 150 g
frozen red currant 150 g
lime juice (can be substituted with lemon) 1 tbsp. l
egg white 1 PC
powdered sugar 3/4 st
water 3/4 st

Cooking method

  • The strawberry period passes very quickly - you need to have time to enjoy this wonderful and healthy berry. I propose another version of sorbet.
  • Mix sugar with water and put on low heat, cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves and heat for 2 minutes. Cool it down.
  • Warm the frozen red currant a little, make the juice by rubbing it through a fine sieve.
  • Fresh strawberries will need to be chilled slightly in the freezer, if not pre-frozen. When you have a lot of strawberries, to save perishable berries, you can put some of them in the freezer - this is so useful for berry desserts!
  • Give the frozen strawberries a light shake and then whisk them together with the lime juice.
  • Beat the egg white lightly.
  • Strawberry and red currant sorbet
  • We combine strawberry puree, juice, sugar syrup and egg white and prepare sorbet using the program of the same name.
  • After experimenting with different frozen states, I got the following result.
  • Strawberry and red currant sorbet
  • Strawberry and red currant sorbet
  • Strawberry and red currant sorbet
  • With the help of protein, the sorbet texture is very soft and delicate. Delicious combination of berries. Again, we free the freezer from last year's supplies.

MariS, Marina, how delicious it is!
I licked the monitor in the morning.
And if there is no ice maker, is there just mona in the freezer?
And if so, how?
Thank you !

Is it just mona in the freezer?

Ksyusha, as much as possible! Until recently in the freezer and cooked. I even froze the curd dessert.

Here you can see it - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=169507.0

And after placing the mixture in the refrigerator, preferably every 30 minutes, stir it for 2 hours. If, like me, you like soft ice cream, freeze 1-1.5 hours is enough. It all depends on the capabilities of the freezer.

Thank you for stopping by - I'm always glad!
Trishka
MariS, Marinochka, thanks!
Boom to try.
To me on "you".

Promptly! When will you eat? I am interested in terms of berries - how does it taste !? I have not tried the red currant sorbet yet, only mixed with strawberries.

Great on a hot day.

And not only, Irish! We eat all the holidays - I intensively utilize frozen red currants (I add strawberries only a little - I save money for Finnish soup). Thank you, Irisha!
