Salzburg coconut balls in chocolate (Salzburger schoko-kugeln)

Ingredients

butter 120 g
egg 1 PC
coconut flakes 140 g
wheat flour 300 g
sugar 120 g
vanillin a bit
baking powder 1/2 pack
Chocolate and sprinkles for decoration

Cooking method

  • Salzburg coconut balls in chocolate (Salzburger schoko-kugeln)
  • As stated in the recipe, just mix everything. Sift the flour and mix with baking powder, add everything else. The dough turns out to be very tight and it clearly does not have enough liquid, I added another egg. Put the dough in the refrigerator overnight. Roll the balls, I made the size of a plum and bake in preheated to 180g for about 20 minutes. If you want the cookies to be soft, put them immediately in a bag, and if they are crumbly, then leave them on the table. Brush with melted chocolate and garnish with sprinkles. It is tastier, of course, with chocolate. I didn't hide the cookies in the bag.

Must be delicious! How could it be otherwise, because such wonderful ingredients. Are the cookies soft, crispy or crumbly the next day?

Alevtina, I didn't put it in the bag, the cookies have been on the table for 2 days already, they are hard, and after a bite they crumble in my mouth!
