Svetlana!
With Dyson, I felt joy in the fight against this evil. I am afraid of them in a panic. And with a vacuum cleaner I'm a hero. The daughter says: Mom, you're like a ghost hunter.

removed the big vacuum cleaner. My big vacuum cleaner is really much worse than this broom.
For more than a year I have not remembered this. I'm very happy with my dyson.

I'm so happy with it that I put away the big vacuum cleaner. My big vacuum cleaner is really much worse than this broom.

But, it should be borne in mind that the broom runs on a battery, and although it is charged from the mains, the battery power gradually weakens (as well as the battery), and at some point it will be possible to notice that the operating time of the broom decreases, and more often needs recharging. Then you will need to buy a new battery in the service, but it is expensive

Therefore, it is better to use a large dyson for large cleanings, and leave the broom for small cleanings. Broom - he is a broom

Good afternoon to dyson owners! I have a sadness. There are no complaints about the operation of the vacuum cleaner, but there are problems with the brush. It seems that during work, the contact is blurred somewhere, through which the rotating brush is put into operation. Maybe someone had this. I would like to know how it is treated.

It seems that during work contact is blurred somewhere

Alenka212, Elena, how is this expressed? Are you absolutely sure that the dust has been thoroughly cleaned from all attachments and docking points in the brush?
Alenka212
At the beginning of work, the brush turns, and then turns off. When working on a smooth floor after a while. When working on a carpet almost immediately, mainly after moving the brush towards yourself. It feels like something is coming together.

Purchased Dyson DC62 Animal Pro in August 2017. I like the vacuum cleaner, it is enough for an apartment of 52 m2 (carpet, carpets, linoleum, tiles). I have 2 cats, copes with wool with a bang. Six months later, the electric brush did not start working, the shaft did not turn inside (there is such a plastic screw on which the roller is pushed, so it stops). I clean the vacuum cleaner, brushes, rollers, etc. very well after each cleaning, once a month (according to the instructions) I wash the filter. I called the GL, under a guarantee they came to me and the non-working brush was taken away, given a new one. Six months have passed again, the same story, the shaft on the brush is not spinning. Again they took away and issued a new one. I repeat, I clean everything well. I live alone, no dirt, dust + wool. Somewhere in the spring of this year, the vacuum cleaner began to work in jerks, with stops after a few seconds. I called the GL, they advised me to wash the filter again. I washed it, everything was in order. The last brush is still working, but half of the black bristles have worn off the roller. Also, when you turn it on for the first time (after charging) before cleaning, a small cloud of dust began to emerge from the upper part (where the "turbo button" on the sides has slots, there is something gray-black), and only once when turned on. Since my guarantee was running out on 08/20/2019, I decided to call the GL. We came for a vacuum cleaner and took it for diagnostics. They said that the filter is clogged. I was very surprised, because I did it strictly according to the instructions, once a month I washed it under cold water until the water was completely clean, then dried it for 2-3 days. The roller with worn bristles was said to be replaced (and replaced), but the filter was offered to be bought for 2500. While the vacuum cleaner was being diagnosed, I read and watched a video about Dyson repair. I learned a lot and saw how to clean for everything to work. It turns out that washing the filter under water according to the instructions does not completely solve the problem. The masters (in the video) say that you do everything according to the instructions, and when the vacuum cleaner stops working normally, you contact the service center, and there they tell you that the filter is clogged and, having disassembled it completely, show what is inside. It turns out that all dust is not washed out, dries up and gradually over time the amount increases and is compressed. You just need to remove the "cap" from the filter, get the frame from the inside, that is, completely disassemble it, and rinse it properly. When the vacuum cleaner was returned, she did so. I saw what the clever people were writing, a compressed vertical pin of dust formed inside the frame. In addition, I disassembled (as the masters show in the video) and other parts, cleaned everything, washed, dried, charged. Became like new. But I will clean this once or twice a year, maybe only the filter more often. And there won't be enough money for spare parts.

tarolg, Olya, can you link to this video?
Our Animal is already five years old. Also, the electrical connection of the brush was junk, the husband did something, it works. But I didn't know about "deep" cleaning.

tarolg, Olga, and I will be very grateful for the link to the video! When I called the hotline, the operator mentioned that dirt is compressed inside the vertical filter cone and advised to tap it vertically on the table upside down. Yes, such flakes of dust flew out. I would like to understand how it can be disassembled. It seemed to me that this could not be done without breaking.
Marika33
Oh, girls, but as always, I don't read the instructions ... Well, the filter clogged, and I decided that the battery had already sat down, I work a lot for it.
When I figured out what was the matter, I washed the filter, it worked fine. But I also want to see how it can be decomposed into details.

Sorry, I can't post links here, because the program says that it is a "beginner". I have been reading the forum for several years, but I hardly write anything. I will try to reset links in a personal.

tarolg, Olga, thanks a lot for the links!

If possible, drop me too, or maybe the girls will be able to accommodate - that's all necessary

I think Olga will not mind ...

I cleaned it using this video, I did not remove the battery, the details were all removed, though not without effort and fear of breaking something. I also did not shoot the last detail on the video, I will do it in the future, while I cleaned it so well.

Here the girl disassembles and cleans.

Well, and the biggest video, where everything is very thoroughly shown and told. Looked a little, left it for the future, it will come in handy.

You can find many more videos.

And I didn't know either.
Thank you so much for the links!
By the way, I had a similar story with the steam generator. I looked after him very carefully, in accordance with the instructions. When it broke (thank God, 2 weeks before the end of the warranty), the technician gave me a printout from the service center's website, and it says how to actually take care of this device.

Can you please tell me if the V11 crevice tool is suitable for cleaning the intersection space in cast iron batteries?
Kara
I came for advice. I have long wanted to change my huge Thomas for a light Dyson. Please tell me if there is a fundamental difference between the V10 and V11, which is worthy of an overpayment of 20 thousand rubles?
There are no pets yet, but there are two adult "woolen" men and my long hair. Floors - parquet + granite. No carpets except for a small rug by the front door.

I'll listen too ...
She herself has some kind of Animal, has been plowing since the age of 14, we are not overjoyed.
I want another one for work in a country house.
Kara
Marina, in general, is sharing my impressions. Bought 10ku, unlike 11 models in add. nozzles and increased power.Having vacuumed the whole house, I still could not think of why I needed any additional extras. nozzles As for the increased power, I may be wrong, but the turbo mode at 10-ke covers the maximum demand. True, in this mode the operating time is only 7 minutes, but the 11 model has the same time, so my verdict is this: there is nothing to overpay as much as 15 thousand rubles.
Of course, you need to adapt to the vacuum cleaner, since the time of continuous operation is limited. But the pros are obvious to me:
1.wireless
2. easy to operate and clean. Since the day of its purchase, I have never taken an ordinary broom in my hands, just as Thomas did not pull out a wired one.
I was completely glad when I vacuumed the sofa and went nuts about how much there was .... But I always vacuum cleaned it once a week with a turbo brush. Apparently, it's time for wet cleaning. I would be very glad if anyone has a proven company that cleans upholstered furniture well

Vacuuming, it seems 20 minutes in turbo mode,
Svetik, there are no 20 minutes, the "turbo" operating time is 7 minutes.
Alenka212
I want to say warm words to the manufacturer. The brush stopped working. Dr the end of the warranty remained almost a week. They looked at the service and immediately replaced it. Service at altitude!

Alenka212, cool, well done.
