Maria, Masha, yeah, and it's strange to me, everywhere they would have changed a long time ago, but these are fixing everything)))
As I understood, they have a whole laboratory, they test, repair, replace parts. It would be cheaper for them to change immediately, and that's all.
The grill itself is good, but I don’t know that the plates are peeling off.
Margarita, I would advise to change. Well, it's not always the same to cook in paper, and the mood is completely different if you know that not everything is in order with the grill. Well, it's not cheap to put up with such jambs. But, of course, I understand, I'm reluctant to mess around with all these replacements, fixes, but I must)
The Germans give a 2 year warranty.
Only in December I will have a grill for 2 years, I wonder if it was being repaired extends the warranty or not? And onto new plates

Hello everyone again.
My epic continues since 4.4
I'm already 4! times the German staff changed the plates. The first 2 pairs of plates were deformed. The second 2 peeled off.
The grill was repaired 2 times! With the same problem (they write that it gets very hot)
Yesterday they returned my grill to me once again, partially changed the plastic, which melted!
This is the first time I come across such a service. Well, once again they will fix it for me a little))))) And at this time an inexpensive Lidlovsky grill is working, a simple one, but a worker!
Even when I asked to change my grill or return the money, I was added to the black list. They had to write from a new mail!
Service and German quality
But Shteba put me a colorful magazine with her products))) are they bullied?)))

Svetlana, I talked with the Germans on your occasion. They could not immediately recall such a case with a buyer from France. Write to me in a personal some of your data with which you applied to the Germans, full name or mail address. They really want to fix the problem with your grill. Thank you.

Good day! Owners of Shteba 4.4 or 4.3 (who has had this technique for several years) tell me - does meat stick to the coating after 2 years of use? Which grill is better than Shteba 4.4 or Tefal Optigril? In terms of functionality, I am more attracted to Shteba, because there is a flat panel, plus waffles. Since she will replace the entire stove for me, I am going to use it very often and more than once a day. But if the meat sticks over time (there were videos and reviews on this topic), then tefal is better then, of course, albeit with less functionality.

And who can compare them live in the store 0 Shtebu and Optigril? What's better?
Sedne
Alena2007, I started to stick to Shteba, not much yet, but still, I'm looking at this Tefal or the girls still advise GF. But Tefalka sympathizes with me.
notka_notka
Alena2007, meat sticks, especially lean meat ... and there was no need to wait for two years, it immediately began to stick. It is very difficult to wash the burnt from the plates, only through soaking and prolonged peeling off with a sponge-brush. If now there was a choice, I would choose Tefal. For a very long time then I doubted, chose .. but Steba's grill won because of the wafers. I baked it a couple of times and calmed down. But the grill is required often, but washing it

Natalia, and with what oil do you lubricate the plates? It stuck a little while I smeared it with sunflower.I switched to olive - that's all! Nothing sticks. And the plates are easy to clean. I've had the grill for three years now.

And I just grease it with olive oil, it sticks, though the meat is not strong, but sticks, but the fish is very sticky.
notka_notka
Galya, yes, I practically do not use sunflower seeds at all (it seems to me now some kind of technical one) So, there are definitely no complaints about oil, I buy olive FILIPPO BERIO, Monini, Borges (at what humane price or special offer).
Alena2007
Thank you girls for your advice and feedback! Since I also plan to use the device very often, these surfaces and easy cleaning are very important for me .. I also bought Shtebu because of the panels, which is also a frying pan, and as a waffle iron ... But, apparently, as always - a mono-device It performs its functions better than a device in which there is a lot, a lot of things .. Tefalka also has a problem, I read many reviews that automation flies very quickly. And the automatic mode is buggy after a while. True, the owners are adapting and are already calculating everything in time. Therefore, not everything seems to be going smoothly with Tefalka either.

I confirm that the program crashes one time. however, from the very beginning it does not grill, but hovers, and after a year the plates began to stick. in the service center, the plates were changed without problems, but with the modes they said that everything is ok, it should be

This is very bad, Shteba is super grill, grill as grill, as they say. Then I will not dream of Tefala ((

That is, meat with a crust comes out? Or is it still like boiled? I then have another question - if the automation does not work very well, maybe it is not needed at all? Since I’m looking at a similar version of Tefal’s - without automation, an ultra-compact grill is called, but only 2 of some programs and buttons are mechanical - like he’s turning and thinking ...
Still, about the fact that Tefal is a good grill, I read the whole topic. That is, there were two options, either Shteba or Tefal. That is, even Tefal, I understood that it was better according to reviews than Shteba, since Shteba's meat often sticks. But Tefal has a better coating, nothing sticks. But then the automation flies at once.

more like boiled, and if you bring it to a crust it will be like a rubber shoe, with the fish things are a little better, but also, if you wait for the grill strips, it will be dry, from my experience, 95 Shteba was much better than tefal, taking into account that that I very rarely grill the plates began to stick months. somewhere after 8, and 95 still seem to have everything in order, at least my sister does not complain, taking into account the fact that I bought it not new, he served me faithfully for a year and for almost two years with my sister.
notka_notka
PARIT? ohhhh we definitely don't want this))))

Alyona, maybe pay attention to other Shteba models? Praise them, like
Sedne
By the way, I saw a grill with automatic equipment in their catalog (Shtebovsky), it seems to have not come out yet, something Bork reminds me, I would like this, but maybe it will not be delivered to us

Let's wait together. Maybe with the coating the stems are not always smooth, but they do not hover exactly, but grill, and very well. And the coating is so-so only in 1 grill they have, there are no complaints about the rest.
Maria, will you wait with us?

Yes, I choose between Tefal Optigril and Shteba 4.4 or 4.3. So far, I tend to lean more towards Tefal, judging by the reviews studied. Here, the first tip was only found that for some reason he does not fry Tefalevsky, but soars

Everything slips off my 56 grill. Never smeared with anything
Masinen
Anastasenok, thanks for the tip !!
I liked the coating too
Alena2007
Something did not see Tefal Optigril with replaceable panels. They have nothing on the official website, one smooth tray is sold separately for the grill, but it costs 50 euros, and the main thing is that it is not available.

Vika, ordinary cutlets - if they would have let juice in a frying pan - since there was enough onion, then this did not happen on the grill :) I fried for 4 minutes, probably 10.
Anastasenok
Girls, and the conversation about the Tefal, which is now in the Lenta for the action? For 5999 it seems. If about him, then with Shteba even the 56th budget model does not compare in quality in any way. The plates are all walking and outwardly much more flimsy, like the entire grill as a whole.

It's not the first year that I have definitely not been hovering: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=213.0
I don’t know about flimsy, but, again, I’ve been using it for several years, and at the same time I wash it in the dishwasher all the time. The plates still haven't done anything. I don't put oil on them at all.

How I suddenly wandered into this topic ... .. and a mustache! three days have dropped out of my life - only solid wishlist in my head
4.4 is of course a thing! and waffle plates love…. but the price ordered the 95th, I'm waiting and all in my thoughts about the correctness of the choice ... maybe? all the same you need 4.4? And who has seen both of them live - which one is smaller?
Sedne
Svetlana, and they were both Masha, if I'm not mistaken, you have to ask her.
Belka13
Caramelle, 4.4 more elongated, it is long and narrow, 95th squarer. Maybe they still differ in height, I don't remember. Worrying in vain - great grill
Caramelle
Svetlana, Olga, thanks for your answers and support! Well we, deviceaholics are like that - the problem of choice is a difficult thing

Svetlana, Olya wrote it correctly. Now I measured 4.4, it turned out approximately 14x46x34 cm, and 95 (data from the site) - 20x36x34 cm. Now I have 4.4, and my daughter's 95th. You have chosen a very good grill, I think you will not regret it. At one time I bought model 4.4 because of waffle plates, I really wanted such waffles-cookies. I looked at the prices for it now. I bought it almost twice as cheap.
Yes, I forgot to say that 4.4 can be stored vertically, and 95 can only be stored horizontally.
Belka13
And 4.4 is very heavy. Although we are no strangers, this heaviness is still felt.

girls, and if he does not constantly live on the countertop, you remove him when he completely cools down, do I understand correctly? Is the top (lid) very hot during operation? and how long does it cool down?
they called that they would bring it on Thursday-Friday, I'm really looking forward to it, I can't wait! (and a dream is not a dream, and things are on their side)

My grill lives in a closet in the hallway. Yes, the top gets pretty hot when working, but the handle does not heat up. Let your grill live up to your expectations

Excellent budget grill with good coverage.

Maria, I looked at him, and immediately watched your video, but you always want to do the best !! If it didn't work out with 4.4 and waffle plates, then at least there is a flat one in the kit. We will decide in the process then whether we need it or not, but let it be! And many thanks for all the tips in this Temko !!

It is good to do fish on it, does not stick and does not dry out.
Well, its size is not large, compact.

Hello everyone! I ordered myself the 95th. On the 9th they promised to deliver it by courier. I chose between cast iron and non-stick. Pig-iron was afraid to take for an apartment because of the non-removable plates. I thought it would be dreary to wipe him off, because in a public catering he heats up all day long and they scrub the soot with a metal brush and that's it. And they have good hoods, they allow you to clean the grill with burnout. I chose the 95th because of the thickness of the plates. I was looking for it with thick ones. 4.4 I think it has a design flaw in that the panel is covered on all sides with a non-stick coating that does not withstand closely spaced shades. As far as I know☝ Any non-stick fluorine coating (Teflon coating) It scratches easily and cannot be used for cooking at high temperatures, which is necessary for frying (> 2300C), since at such temperatures the chemical structure of the coating itself will begin to deteriorate. Xylan coatings are slightly better, but also cannot be used at very high temperatures.

The temperature problem can be solved by using ceramic coated plates. Such a coating will withstand heating up to 4500C. Well, from practice: I killed the non-stick coating on the gf grill when I soaked it with a stove cleaner. The coating was blown up like in the photo given on this forum. Although before that I used the grill for about two years every day, 1-2 times a day. These are my observations and thoughts. I ask you not to throw tomatoes at once)))
