Girls, I hasten to share my joy - I'm back with my grill !! And all thanks to Valery-Shtebovich! It is so fortunate that we have such a sympathetic person on our forum - that Comfort-M is really lucky. and all their offices! What would we do without you, Valery! Just thank you so much and my bow to you! I have already fried cod fillets according to Mashunin's recipe - and it fries, and heats, and the juice even flows into the pan! In general, repaired like (pah-pah-pah!)

anavi, Olga, Congratulations
Let the grill only please and not bring disappointment.
A Valery, very wonderful and helpful.
I was very glad to meet him personally.

Natalia K., Natasha, you are straightforward, as always, sympathetic and benevolent! And be upset, and rejoice for others! Thank you!

Girls, and I got Steba PG 4.4 on Sunday.

I am very pleased! Power is what you need. The meat is fried great. Yesterday I made burgers - there is a difference between a frying pan and a grill one.

On Sunday I made chicken breasts and grilled vegetables - super!

The panels are very easy to clean.

Of the minuses - there are "cold places". But if you know them, then you can rotate on the grill without compromising the quality of the dishes. And my recipe book is in German, but I couldn't find it in Russian or English on the Internet
notka_notka
And I still have a poor thing with shabby plates. I didn't like to cook on paper, a lot of liquid - it was pouring straight ((((

And why with peeling plates? And why is it worth it? How old is he? Warranty expired?
notka_notka
Sveta, I wrote here earlier ... At first, everything began to burn, stick, it was difficult to wash, soaps in the PMM, did not scrub with anything ... the coating peeled off as a result. Probably the marriage got caught. But it’s worth it and I don’t throw it away because I’m waiting for Valery's answer. When I wrote to him, the plates were not available. So I'm waiting for now, I don't use the grill. Here is such a pichalka
Svetlenki
notka_notka, NataliaI hope everything will be safely resolved.

soaps in pmm

That is why the plates are peeling off. Non-stick coating is not allowed in PMM.

Galina, I think so too. Even if they write that you can wash in the PMM, I prefer not to.
Svetlenki
totally agree with the girls gala10 and Lera-7... PMM contains too aggressive detergents. Wash a whole mountain of dishes using 10 liters of water, they should be like this ...
gala10
For me Shteba 4.4 has been serving faithfully for three years. The plates are in perfect condition. I lubricate it only with olive oil (from sunflower oil remains a hard-to-remove plaque), wash it only by hand or wipe it with universal napkins.

Galina, thanks, I will take into account!

My husband washes it. He says that he has never seen a grill easier in terms of washing, that a very well thought-out whole grill is of German quality and engineering thought in all its glory.
notka_notka
Girls who did not understand, I repeat: they began to stick to the plates almost immediately, then burn, which was not washed off. I don’t have so much time - an hour to spend on washing by hand, and the likelihood of damage to the plates when scrubbing with force was stronger. Then she began to wash in the PMM.I'm glad you are in luck with the coating on your grills. But in my place, each of you would have done the same. Sorry - to cook for 10 minutes, and to wash for an hour or two is "super fun"

So there was a marriage. Nothing sticks to me.

notka_notka, Natalia, we misunderstood you. sorry

Sveta, what are you doing? For what I'm sorry?

Well, you are already in frustrated feelings, and here we are still threatening you for the PMM. Not, really, I hope that everything will be resolved as soon as possible and the plates will be replaced.

On the German Amazon, there were a couple of such cases in the reviews - they replaced the device or returned without question. But in Europe with consumer rights everything is very tough and clear.
notka_notka
Oh!!! This is the power of thought: wow: I just received an email from Comfort that the plates were sent How am I gladaaa
Valery, thank you very much for your help and trouble, golden man
Girls, I kind of asked, I don’t remember .... Who uses a can of non-stick spray for the 4.4 grill? Doesn't it form a film-coating? From oil, even the best olive oil, alas, a sticky layer remains over time.
I use a spray can in bakeware, but the coating is smoother and the power is less.
mamusi
I never stress NEVER did not wash the plates from my 4.4 in PMM, we rarely cook in it! There is simply no one to eat so much meat. The husband is often at sea.
I handle it very carefully!
But I changed the plates twice already. Now the third set is worth it. I only bake on paper! Since I don't want to change anymore and wait a long time for the plates. And what kind of dances are they, why should I have them change!?
(I'm writing this for beginners!)
Those who are lucky with the Grill rush to his defense. It's clear. But maybe NOT lucky. So let's be honest.
Grill 4.4 is not recommended to anyone.

Oh, Natasha, how cool!

Who uses a can of non-stick spray specifically for grilling 4.4?
I did not use a spray, I lightly grease the plates with olive oil for frying and grilling. So far, everything is fine with the plates. But, in fairness, I must say that I don't use the grill very often.

No, no, Rita, I am not defending in any way! Just writing about my experience with this grill. All equipment is, by and large, a lottery. You may or may not be lucky.
notka_notka
mamusi, Rituel, well, I plan to use it with spray and without paper. My daughters and I did not like it - the breasts came out steamed. I hope that the problem was - a factory defect, and now the coating is being made stronger. I really hope for it))))
mamusi
notka_notka, Natalia, Natalia, hope! I sincerely wish you the best of luck.

I like it on paper. We fry, usually pork. There is no "soaring"! Everything is perfectly fried until golden brown on paper. I fry for 5.
I didn't notice any difference.
Good luck with the new plates.
Svetlenki
Quote: mamusi

Yes, Rit, for the money that they want for him in Russia, you are absolutely correct. It cost me half the price (no waffle plates, but I don't need it). If suddenly the plates peel off - I will hand over. But so far I like the result.
spring
Sveta, Sveta, when do you still have time to grill and fry on cast iron? I have a 95 model, I already wrote that the plates do not peel off, but they are completely welded to them. You clean longer than you cook, abandoned it, and was so happy with the purchase. Looks like there is nothing better than frying pans!
Svetlenki

Sveta, when do you still have time to grill and fry on cast iron?

Elena, when there are 4 men at home, then you need a lot of meat and in different versions ... And I like vegetables from the grill - mmmmm, well, very tasty!

I also got a dumpling maker like Creamy

spring
Sveta, then yes ...
Mihailina
I was also out of luck with 4.4 ... The second pair of panels began to climb (((
notka_notka
Urrraaaaa Send my new plates to the grill. I am so glad!!! I will never wash these in the PMM. And I will use the old waffles. I was just thinking ... but the coating could not fly off due to close contact with the heating elements when I turned it over to the waffle side? what if this double-sided feature of the plates did not play a plus for the grill?
gala10

I constantly turn it back and forth, no problem.

I am facing the choice of a grill, I wanted Tefal and now I want Steba. How to decide correctly?

And no one will tell you where / how to exchange panels for a Steba electric grill?

d0l0t0, what does it mean to exchange? and which grill?

PG 4.4
I bought it less than a year ago. Everything sticks to the panels, even with oil. One of the three crawled down.
It seems that they write that there was a defective batch and the panels can be changed.

I wrote to them and told them to send pictures of receipts and panels. And if the store where I bought it is an official partner, they will decide.
kreker156
Hello, I wanted to order steba 4.3 from Germany, because the price is an order of magnitude cheaper, but why is it that the description does not include panels for waffles? Even on the official. The German site steba for the steba 4.3 model also does not say anything about wafer panels. Are they produced only for Russia?
Svetlenki
kreker156, I ordered from the German Amazon. No wafer panels included.
kreker156
Svetlenki, Have you ordered a long time?

I boast))) How I love my grill !!!! I fry everything, cutlets, meat, fish.
And I wanted to ask: are there no wafer panels on the 95th grill? It would be great...
Mirabel
Anita, very appetizing!
and fry the cutlets in breading and how do you install the top cover?
LisaNeAlisa
Vika, I make cutlets without breading, hold up the gap in the grill with an ice cream stick until the cutlets grab. Then you can release the lid.

And why not consider the 70 model Such a grill is great! I have been using it for more than 6 months. 4-5 times a week. I bought additional plates to it, since it was equipped with flat and corrugated plates (I wanted to have 2 corrugated).

Can you tell me where you bought it? Recently acquired the 70th model. I'm still playing, but I think that two grooved ones are good.

Fuh, I read the whole topic. Apparently, the peak in popularity of these grills was in 2016.
And I just got to this device.

I bought the 70th model on Ozone at a very nice price. There were several questions to which I did not find an answer in Temko, or maybe I overlooked. I hope experienced hostesses will help.

Suspicions crept in that the grill could not stand the temperature.
In the photographs in the subject, the grills have a heating element in the form of a spiral, and if I remove the panels, then rectangular plates. How to measure temperature? Or how to navigate the cooking time at least something ...
I cooked a salmon steak, about 1 cm thick. About 8 minutes at the maximum on one side and the same on the other. On a flat panel, it lies in its own juice, and fry the top panel. It turned out delicious, but confuses for a long time.

The vegetables seemed to be fried well, but also somehow for a long time, about 20 minutes. Because after reading, I did not immediately move the slider to the maximum.

I made rösti according to the recipe that I found in this thread. It seemed like that for a long time. And it didn't turn out to be pancakes, but one continuous "pancake".

I'll experiment more. The very principle of cooking is cool, but I don't understand if it's okay or not.
Grill guru, help calm down or run to change?

Anastasenok
venera19, an empty grill at the maximum before laying food, how much heat? And before each next bookmark you let it warm up?
venera19
Anastasenok, the warm-up time was not specifically timed, about 4-5 minutes. Yesterday I was already watching him closely. I turned it on at the maximum, only the red button burned, for 10 seconds, then the green one turned on.After the green one went out, I laid the meat.

Until I fried a lot, for the very first time I fried vegetables twice, but did not pay much attention, since everything is a wonder ..
Can you advise the algorithm of actions from experience?
And another question, for example, after meat I want to fry vegetables, do I need to wash or wipe the previous soot?
Anastasenok
venera19, yes, everything is intuitive, it starts to burn, you turn it down. If it is off, then everything is at the maximum
venera19
Anastasenok, Thanks for the answer.

Of course, practice will judge everything.
But as you know, the knowledge of some patterns frees from the knowledge of many facts.
If someone can advise a beginner in using the grill on their already gained experience, I will be very grateful.

Hello everybody! I read the forum and chose the Steba FG56 grill. My husband loves (and fries himself) steaks, chicken, fish, etc. Bought yesterday. We fried beef, but so far the first pancake is lumpy: (There was only okavalok (Lipetsk marbled beef), emergency mode to deal with the grill, prepare, etc. + a child jumping around, who, firstly, was curious about everything, and, secondly, I didn’t like the busyness of both parents. Pre-beat with a tender (maybe in vain ...). Fried to the max. I wasn’t going until my husband tilted the grill. After that, it became a little drier on the bottom plate and there was a lot of liquid in the pan. The final result did not please - the meat was dry :( I understand that a lot depends on meat (because with good meat and my husband's steaks are great), but she got a little upset.
try to make friends with the grill, cook pork and other beef, etc.
