Viki
I baked pancakes today according to this recipe. Everything is as it is written, only instead of fresh yeast a packet of Dr. Otter, it just says 25 gr. fresh, that's replaced. The dough is fluffy and tender. The pancakes themselves are delicious but also very satisfying. Like the ones that my grandmother did as a child! Thank you, GruSha!

Let the dough rise again

GruSha
Gulenka, I understand correctly, are we waiting both times until the dough rises to approximately double the volume?
GruSha
yes, 2 times

Forgive me for the stupid question, is it possible to replace buckwheat flour with ground buckwheat? I read and wanted the same pancakes, but buckwheat. flour is not at hand.

Thank you so much for the recipe! Pancakes are just SUPER !!!!!! Today I brought it to work - everyone is delighted, they demand a recipe.

Pancakes are wonderful. We ate two portions yesterday. One was filled with grated pickled cucumber, garlic and mayonnaise) - both went with a bang. And baked both small, and like a patina - patches seemed tastier. The taste of buckwheat was more pronounced.
And replacing it with ground buckwheat is elementary, only it is better to sift through a sieve (my experience).

GruSha, thanks for the recipe !!! The pancakes turned out to be wonderful - tasty, perforated, fragrant! It was only the second time in my life that I dealt with yeast pancakes, but everything went "with a bang"

big thanks for the recipe. I had a slightly different one, which I used. but I wanted to slightly modify the thread and ... I was not mistaken!
the only thing is that my dough is thicker than it turned out for pancakes. even a spoon in a frying pan was not particularly smeared. I had to add a glass and a half of milk. but otherwise - awesomely delicious! and what a beautiful one - just a feast for the eyes! holes, at least send to a beauty contest!

Dear ones, tell me, please - 25 gr. fresh yeast, how much is it dry? In spoons from a bread machine, if not difficult .... I know, somewhere they wrote about it, I don't know where (how to count).
I really want such pancakes !!!!
Rimma71
Well, without waiting for an answer, I put 1 tsp. dry yeast and half of all ingredients !!!!!! This is half of the original recipe:

DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, GruSha!!!!!!!

I want pancakes again ... but what kind of attack is this!
Altusya
GruSha, Gulechka, I am already baking this recipe. Boom soon to try.
They are really delicate, is it really because of buckwheat flour. Or I just did not pay attention and they seem to be light too.
GruSha
Olya, how are the pancakes? Did you like it?
Altusya
Gulenka, we liked it. Although I tried to remove the second part from the recipe. That is, mixing in buckwheat flour. I just started to appear lumps and do not break in any way. So I decided next time to do them as usual.

And this is a very unusual taste. The whole apartment smelled like buckwheat.
You know, it seemed to me that they are a little tougher or something than pancakes made from wheat flour, although they are more delicate and lighter.

I think to do it sometimes, for a change. Thank you.

how hot should the milk be?
sweetka
so that the finger thrust there was nicely warm, but not scalding.

Hello)) well, wherever you go around, there is a tradition in our family: on Sundays everyone is waiting for pancakes. Here I feel in this thread I will be stuck on the topic for a long time, I want to try these, but there is no buckwheat flour. Can you use regular buckwheat on a coffee grinder?
Hairpin
Marilyn, I do not advise. Not sure it's going to happen. Look for the Platypus better. There is.

Bread, why not post your wonderful recipe as a separate topic? It's a pity ... the recipe will be lost ... and so, everyone would have seen, and it would be easier to search for it ... Maybe, after all, make it a separate topic ?! You are welcome ...
Bread
If placed separately, it's better in general as baked goods made from flour of various cereals ... And so ... with a single recipe ... it's doubtful ... Ali interfered with who? or is the message out of topic? So you can leave ...

Bread, how could you think that? It's just that our forum has a rule: one recipe, one topic (separate). Agree, it will be more convenient for everyone ...

GruShaThank you so much for the recipe! Not only are the pancakes simply incomparable in taste, and the texture is airy, but also buckwheat flour, bought by my husband in large quantities, by analogy with periodically scarce rye, went with a bang. I also liked the kneading of the dough in several stages, and the way it is baked, in general, a lot of positive emotions!
sweetka
the guests have just left. pancakes ate !!!! like last year the dough came out very thick, I added milk. and the rest - well, ooooocheeeeeeeeeeeeee! (smile before earth bow)!

Great pancakes!
I tried several times according to different recipes - and never worked, I thought that I was not given ...
Seeing your recipe, I decided to give myself another chance - and OH MIRACLE! EVERYTHING IS OUT! Yes, it didn’t just work out, but absolutely wonderful - the family members really liked it
The dough really turned out to be very thick, but I also added an extra portion of warm milk and fried like cribs.
Thank you very much for the recipe

Delicious pancakes! We respect buckwheat. But they need to be done in the evening - a long preparatory process of obstetrics at the end of the process!
