I have a Sinbo SCO 5005 pressure cooker, very happy. I take recipes from other pressure cookers or come up with it myself, but there is no topic about her. Really no one has one?
Outwardly, she is an exact copy of our Land Life and Unit.

I read about dancing near the jellied meat and now I think what is the best way to cook? In mv or sv? And as luck would have it, the legs ran out, so I would have checked how it turns out in my sv on "kvassol" jellied meat.
Alexa13
Pressure cooker girls, I have a question! Almost all multi-pressure cookers (Land Life, Unit, Sinbo, Ark) have several mode buttons: "rice", "porridge", "meat", "chicken", "fish", "vegetables", "soup", "bean", etc. Usually 5-6 buttons in different combinations.
Do they differ only in cooking time? In a multicooker, different modes differ in intensity, temperature, duration. How about a pressure cooker? She has a completely different principle of work. It seems to me that the temperature and pressure will be the same in all modes, only the time is different. I noticed in the videos that when setting the cooking time manually, no program is selected, it just sets the time and start. That is, we can conclude that the mode will be the same, only the time is different. And all the buttons-modes, in fact, only so that we do not think how much time to set for meat or rice, but simply press the button "meat" or "rice". They will prepare in exactly the same way, but at different times. Or am I misunderstanding something?
Can you please tell us what conclusions you made during operation? I just want to understand how it works before buying.
natalka
I think that on manual control, some average parameters are set so that they would fit almost everything. As for the preset programs, it seems to me that they still differ not only in the cooking time. Well, for example, cabbage rolls can not be cooked on all programs due to the high density and a small (relatively) amount of liquid, the program is turned off due to lack of pressure and that's it. Personally, in my Unite, it turned out only on baking. With the lid open (when I do frying), only the Porridge mode works, and the rest are quickly turned off. I did not measure anything on purpose, but a lot of different little things that surfaced during use, clearly indicating the difference in time, and in temperature, and in pressure. At least when baking and boiling soup, the pressure cannot be the same initially, since there is a minimum of liquid in baking, and the soup, on the contrary, is mainly from liquid, and we know that the pressure in the saucepan is created by steam. Or here's another, on the modes "tough meat / beans" and "chicken" meat is cooked at about the same time, and the result is very different. So, there is no doubt that the modes differ not only in the cooking time.
Alexa13
natalka, Thank you so much! It is possible that in different models of pressure cookers everything is a little different. I will know exactly when I start using it myself. As they say, empirically.
I looked again, studied information about different models, but I did not find a clear answer to my question anywhere (do the modes differ in temperature, pressure, or only in time). It turns out that in CB ARC you can add and subtract time in the selected mode! And for Land Life, Unit and Sinbo, the required time is set in free mode, it cannot be changed on programs.
It is also interesting that in different CBs the duration of the modes with the same name is different!?! Or completely different combinations of modes on one button (this is also in multicooker, not only pressure cookers). For example, in one separately "rice", "soup", "fish", "porridge", in the other "rice" / "porridge", in the third - "soup" / "porridge", in the fourth - "rice" / " fish"(!). And if we recall the modes "meat" (or "beef"), "chicken" ("chicken"), "baked goods", "beans", "vegetables" and add various combinations with them, then in general. That is, I am confused by the different duration of the modes of the same name in different units (although, perhaps, it depends on the power too? ...) and "incongruous combinations" of modes on the buttons. Got a little lost
Well, you need to determine the model, acquire and comprehend everything by trial and error
sazalexter
Alexa13 They differ in pressure and T *. But all these pressure cookers are converted rice cookers, and are essentially automatic, unless ARC allows you to change the time, but Kuku 1054, in addition to time, allows you to change the temperature There is simply no need to change anything when cooking rice, we have programmed 10-12 varieties of cooking and go. Another thing Russian -European cuisine, where, in addition to rice, they eat almost everything here, the producers are "swollen", well, let's come up with other names for rice programs, you see for yourself what came of it
Alexa13
Thank you, sazalexter, it looks like it is! Well, let's set up experiments, tame the "fast cooker".

Our new Moulinex - Minute KUKE has a program low pressure and high pressure and the time is not set automatically, but as long as you want, starting from one minute. If I understood the question correctly and climbed
sazalexter
IRR oh yes, for sure also in Minutes of Cook, the time is being set
Alexa13
IRR, Thank you! You understood the question completely correctly. I choose a pressure cooker and I got a little confused in their programs, a lot of disagreements and "incomprehensibility" in various models. All have a completely different set of buttons, different duration the same programs, completely different combinations of modes on one button. So I think which of the models is "more correct" and more convenient to work with. I study the instructions. Once again I will go to your topic (your SV), I will study. I would like to read the instructions for it, but I can't find it yet.

if you choose only pressure cooker, then you are going the right way, comrades! Because the manufacturer positions them as a pressure cooker-multicooker - this is IMHO, they twisted their souls. Slightly Still, it's more comfortable as a pressure cooker. Although cartoonish dishes are obtained in it, but it is only inconvenient to open and close the lid in it all the time, add, try, as in a normal cartoon, it somehow starts to shit-nakas there, suddenly you’re afraid you’ll slam shut, and the valve is closed, and a delay in start , again, no. Although the girls cook, of course, everything in it. But this is purely IMHO (: secret: I just have more than one saucepan in my arsenal) I drive this one like a pressure cooker.

The instruction is there with confusion, but the recipe book is wonderful. There is a table in it - what to cook and at what pressure.

Why there is no delayed start - there is (I'm talking about mine), but it seems that Elby also has it.
natalka
And in Unite there is a delayed start, and in ARS it seems too.

sazalexter, about "more expensive" I understood. Only this one is definitely beyond my means, and I consider it completely unreasonable to spend such! money for a saucepan, albeit a superb one. Maybe someday the "cuckoos" will become more accessible, will have a chance to try them in practice.
In the meantime, a choice of more "popular" (ARC, Sinbo, Unit, Land Life, ...) For "Minute Cook", too, prices were added, I found 7 thousand rubles in two online stores. ! On the websites of a couple of Moscow online stores, they are available for 4200-4500 rubles (wow, the difference, right ?!), but there is no self-pickup or delivery to the regions.
I’m studying the information so far, decide which one to take. I would like an assistant for cartoons.

Thank you all very much for your opinions and advice!
Liona-STRO
Received ARC the day before yesterday. I ordered it on their official resource. Quite inexpensive in my opinion. 3630 rubles for the unit itself, plus 200 rubles for shipping. They sent it by cash on delivery, and came pretty quickly, I was already surprised. What can I say. Big. I keep it under the table, I haven't cooked it yet. Today I want to try to cook broth in it. I basically took it for the broth. Mom has had gas pressure cookers all her life. And I have no gas, everything is on electricity. So I "fell for" this. I think, cook on the "Meat" program. With her came a book of recipes and instructions, a measuring glass, a circle for a double boiler. It fits into a recess in the bowl. All this is sooooo curious. I will try to cook, I will report
IRR
Liona-STRO, welcome to the site of Successful broths and other culinary joys! : drinks: wash!

about the steamer and the recesses, and if you insert not on the recesses, but between them? does the steamer sink to the bottom of the pan? It's like that in my moulinex. And then you can lay a lot. That is, there are 2 options HOW to insert the steamer? Or is it only one?
Liona-STRO
Thank you
There is one notch in the bowl, approximately in the middle. This is where the pallet with holes stands firmly. I think that you can put additional (on legs) on this pallet from above. Or from below. In general, it will be possible to "modify with a file"

What do you advise?

big. Little can be cooked in it. On the contrary. Moreover, it is impossible to cook to capacity in such pans. there, at least, it is necessary to pour a liter and a half less. I have 6, I am happy. I cook the first liter 2.5. And when the jellied meat, I come off to the fullest. If, of course, you don't like borscht-jellied soups, then take 4. For meat and vegetables, this is normal.
Liona-STRO
Puffa, I am also for the big. The unit is, of course, large, but the bowl in it does not seem that big. Our family is even smaller, but I took 6 liters.

it will take a long time under pressure, because it still has to gain pressure, and then release it. And without pressure, just like on an electric stove. I’ve already put a plate of milk in the oven for you

On the first day I cooked soup in it and what amazed me: my son ate two whole portions - the dishes from this "magic saucepan" are so delicious !!!

saika, look at this link, twist to the middle, where they fry onions and make meatballs. This is the RICE program - it bakes and roasts. Do you have such a saucepan?

Davli
saika the best way to bake is in the "PORTRAIT" mode - see the recipes of the clone brothers unit and land life I bake myself in a regular multitude (polaris) because I haven't experienced it in ARC yet

Girls and a few more questions:
1. Who knows how much it costs at Tillotama?
2. Is it possible to put a whole duck (goose) in a 6 liter ARS?
I have a Panasonic 4-liter and a Cuckoo 1054 in stock. Cuckoo after six months of work, I got a little mocked, the saucepan was scratched all over, of course, I stewed meat with bones and ribs in it, but in Panasonic with the same operation the saucepan is very even normal.
I want to buy a third specially for large (whole stew) chickens, ducks, etc., if they fit in it. I looked and read for a long time about Mullinex, which is a multi-cooker pressure cooker, but a little toad strangles. Maybe ARS will be the same in quality. Although there are 2 types of pressure in Mullinex (low, high).
In general, while at a crossroads.

only on sale they are difficult to find
Maybe Land Life YBD60-90A?
and the whole goose will not fit IMHO
Davli
Lyi they now advertise a new model (there are also store addresses, but a lot of outdated data), the chicken fits perfectly into 6 liters, but the goose or duck should be medium-sized and they will have to press their paws. with ARC, but you can immediately order an additional bucket and make ribs and everything bony in it

3 minutes ago I talked on the phone with a girl from the company, the new models have a "baking" function! it was the button that was taken out as a separate function. the coating of the steam insert is Teflon. Available in stock.

I did 1 hour 20 minutes, this is about 7 hours in a normal MV temperature 110-120 * C

Davli
sazalexter I have ARC that's why I ask which mode and how much to set on the timer. my temperature does not change, only the time can be changed in modes. can you tell by the mode?
sazalexter
Davli the point is to reduce the cooking time by about 4-5 times
And what mode it is you decide for yourself. Or try googling
Davli
saika you confused me - there is a "baking" in the latest ARC not updated design, in the first deliveries it was not! that's what "not long ago began to study" means.
Davli
sazalexter There is a "fish" mode, so I think to drive on it and see. chicken on the "chicken" mode for 20 minutes - the bones are soft (but not quite chewy, but already soft or rather softened), another 7-10 minutes and would be like stewed meat from an autoclave (when you can chew them). I'll try to dance in fish mode

until I got out of the search - people put 50 minutes on the "jellied" mode - and everything is very tasty!
dopleta
Davli, I have a Unit pressure cooker, and I make a similar fish on the Beans program.
Davli
dopleta I don’t have such a program, I’ll try today (if I have enough strength) on the "jelly", it will be too much, I will try the "fish". I just love such canned food with potatoes, and it's even tastier from my own production

Then all the same it is better on "jellied", it is longer. "Fish" cooks only until the fish is ready, and to the extent that it is in canned food, it needs to be stewed much longer.
Davli
dopleta and did so, "jellied meat" - 45 minutes - amazing! to be sure, I added another 10 minutes for the "fish" - absolutely gorgeous! the experiment involved 2 mackerels from Buchenwald
Davli
and nobody did a duck with apples? otherwise they were treated to a young duck, in size it just fits into a bucket
Lyi
Sazalexter, Davli, thank you for your responses.
Sorry, I didn't answer right away, time trouble.
But Land Life comes at the same cost as the Mulinex multicooker-pressure cooker. There's no point. In ARS and tempted, most importantly, the low price.
And, nevertheless, if you do not take into account the price, is the Mulinex multi-pressure cooker better than ARS?
But the fact that a duck will not fit into a 6 liter ARS is already bad.
I kept licking my lips, watching the girls in slow cookers make duck in apples, etc. But there is only 0.5 liters more saucepan (6.5 liters). It probably plays a role that it is oval.
I'll wait a little longer.
Davli
Lyi Yesterday a young duck with apples in a belly climbed into the ARC 6 liters, but it had to be thrombosed a little better or not - that's a question. I myself chose a simple multi from Polaris (for cereals, compotes, etc.) and for meat and soups ARC = the price in my city is mulinex BUT I have time to make a side dish (buckwheat, for example) and chicken or meat with gravy to it, but there it will still take longer due to the sequence of preparation. plus to ARC immediately took (for a very modest price) a ring (250 rubles) and a second bucket (850 rubles), so draw your own conclusions
Lyi
Quote: Davli

Lyi yesterday a young duck with apples in a belly climbed into the ARC 6 liters
It's tempting.
How long did it take to prepare? And second, if the duck is "elderly", then it will be necessary to turn on this program twice?
And third, knowing ARS, would you change it to a new Brand model?
Davli
Lyi the word "young" meant - this year's little duck cooked 25 minutes on a "chicken" (gorgeous, tender, very tasty), the brand has not seen a new model (give a link to view), so ARC has a new model, which is now on sale

Multicooker-pressure cookers (models, features, modes, tips, reviews)
Lyi
Davli, I give a link.
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...=136111.new;topicseen#new
It's just not a pressure cooker.
And everything else is just a dream. If there was a pressure cooker, I would already be in the first rows in the queue.
I saw the new ARS and, of course, it is better for me. I liked it.
If I didn’t have my MV Panasonic 4-liter and Kukushka (disappointed), I would now buy this ARS and a new Brand. I'm happy with Panasonic, but the new Brand is better.
And now I choose.
Davli
Lyi an interesting cartoon Brand, but I would have taken it as an addition to ARC, unless, of course, the price is 3-3.5 thousand, that's why I started the polaris - so that while the ARC is preparing meat, make a quick side dish.
