Hello everyone! I ask for help in choosing a multicooker, I read a lot of things on the Internet, but I'm not 100% sure what to buy. I choose between Philips 3167, 3197, 4737 (new model, very few reviews). I don't quite understand how much the latest novelty is better (worse) than the same 3197 model. Because the price is much lower for the new item. As well as the alternative Oursson 5015! What is important for me ... And why did I lean towards Philips, this is the opportunity to buy an additional cup (I understand that it is not a problem to buy a spare for these models), in Oursson it seems there is no opportunity to buy an additional cup or am I mistaken ?! I'm going to cook milk porridge and it is important that it does not run away anywhere. Also soups, casseroles, and so that you can bake in it (preferably bread so that it turns out well) and as a plus program jellied meat. I ask you to help me with the choice, I will be grateful to all opinions and reviews. Thank you.

After reading you, I immediately thought about the Orusson multicooker-pressure cooker, Oursson MP5005PSD, or its improved model Oursson MP5015PSD / IV,
I get great porridge only in it, she generally cooks softly, not aggressively, a very comfortable bowl with handles, the bowl itself is thick, it does not scratch, I have had more than one scratch for 4 years now.
There is a Baking mode, I bake biscuits for home and to order only in Oursson !, and a Yogurt mode, from dry starter cultures I cook different sour milk on it.
Well, about jellied meat, here is the recipe for jellied meat from Admin in Oursson https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=182754.0

So Phillips is a multicooker, and Orson is a pressure cooker, I'm talking about the listed models. What do you need more?
Sedne
You choose interestingly between a multicooker and a pressure cooker. As for me, it is so convenient to have both, if you have your first slow cooker, then I would take a pressure cooker, in fact, I took it, and that's why speed, speed and again speed, porridge does not run away, soups in a pressure cooker turn out depending on which ones: cereals yes, borscht and cabbage soup no, broths yes. Phillips is very good porridge also does not run away in 3197, borscht and cabbage soup are delicious, pastries are excellent and speed is not slow. And the pilaf and rice in Fillet are very good.

soups in a pressure cooker are obtained depending on which: cereals yes, borscht and cabbage soup, no broths.
Well, I disagree, I have 3 pressure cookers and I cook only in them. Wonderful borscht turns out. It's all a matter of habit. I think so.
Mashulik9
Initially, I wanted a multicooker, and Oursson did not even consider it, just a lot of good reviews. And of course I am afraid that I personally will have difficulties with the pressure cooker, for some reason I am afraid of them :).
Mashulik9
What can you say about baking in general and bread in particular? Is it really possible to bake it in them?
Sedne
Mashulik9, yes, no difficulties, at first it may only be possible to digest, there are so many recipes on the Bread Maker that you will not even digest. For example, Shteba has very very good pastries, I don't know about Ourson.

Choosing between Philips and Oursson

Everything works out, you just need to understand how to cook it correctly. See our recipes at the link above - and soups and borscht and broths and then everywhere ...
Sedne
Admin, yes there are recipes, but I do not like borscht, as well as cabbage soup in a pressure cooker under pressure, even adding beets at the end, for me, does not save the taste, only the color saves.
Laslovna
The multicooker is closer to traditional cooking, you can periodically open the lid, report the ingredients, but after choosing the cooking mode, you will not look into the pressure cooker. But you can also turn on the pressure cooker and the multicooker and leave the house and get a delicious lunch or dinner upon arrival.

I say, I only bake biscuits in Oursson, here is my charlotte recipe
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=183786.0

and baked bread in it, I just have HP, and somehow I don't often bake bread in multicooker, but she bakes well.

Admin, yes there are recipes, but I don't like borscht, like cabbage soup in a pressure cooker under pressure, even adding beets at the end, for me, the taste does not save, only the color saves.

These are different things and a matter of taste for everyone. I don't like it - and it doesn't work!
It turns out and how it turns out - and the rest is a matter of taste for everyone
Sedne
Admin, I completely agree, but I wrote for myself, and not for everyone. By the way, someone doesn't like baking in multi at all.

It's just that we help a person here to decide on a model of a pressure cooker-multicooker - and she will get scared and misunderstand us, she will be scared that pressure cookers cannot cook it. Now, after all, the conversation is about what a pressure cooker can cook... And it is possible that a person will just like borscht - but this is a matter of personal taste
Mashulik9
So you would advise taking a pressure cooker?

So you would advise taking a pressure cooker?

The best option is to have both a multicooker and a pressure cooker
But, if while in thought - then it is better to take a pressure cooker, it has more opportunities And then ... having gained experience and appreciating "is it necessary for me?" think about the cartoon. Everything will depend on the purpose for which it is needed, what to cook in it
Mashulik9
And what is the difference between a multi and a pressure cooker, not counting that everything is cooked in a pressure cooker under pressure, and faster? Where is it better to taste and what else is the difference?
Sedne
Mashulik9, the taste is different, but only you decide where is better.
Mashulik9
And I understand you have 3197 Phillips?
Masinen
I would choose a pressure cooker!
Everything is fast and everything can be cooked in it!
Sedne
Mashulik9, I have 3 pressure cookers and a fillet 3197
Mashulik9
How do you like it? Where do you think it tastes better?

The tasks and principles of cooking are different. There are dishes that cannot be cooked either in a pressure cooker (baked milk, the taste is not the same), or meat in a large piece (in a slow cooker for a very long time), and so on.
And to say "where is tastier" is not worth it! Each of us will insist on our own, and we will get the result 50 x 50 It's up to you to decide.
Sedne
Mashulik9, I wrote depending on what, I have a division of dishes where something is tastier, I cook borscht and cabbage soup in fillets, cereal soups, compotes, stewed meat and meatballs in a steak, meat, stewed cabbage, rice in cuckoo, pilaf in fillet and cuckoo, porridge in redmond, I used to cook it in fillets, but I only needed to serve the child and I bought a redmond baby, the filka cooks porridge well, but only the baby eats them, baked goods in the bakery, sometimes in the cookie, the filka bakes well too, but the bakery better And taste is an individual concept, I like the pressure cooker taste, except for cabbage soup and borscht
velli
And on the contrary, I like the taste of cabbage soup and borscht in a pressure cooker more than in a slow cooker. Especially cabbage soup: as if from a Russian stove at my grandmother in the village. I try to keep them on Heating for 30 minutes after the end of the program. At first I had a Unit-1210 pressure cooker, then Shteba, and now I want to buy Orsyusha like Tanyulia's for casseroles and pastries. I have a multicooker Polaris 517, I cook ham in it and Suvidnichayu.
Sedne
velli, and what in Shteba does not suit casseroles and pastries? They're great there.
velli
Svetlana, Svetochka I somehow do not know how to do them, roofing felts like this burns down all the time.
Sedne
velli, isn't it Teflon? Teflon is required. And either for porridge 0.3 or for languishing 110

Mashulik9, take Oursson 5015. You will never regret it. I have two Orsiks, only 5005. And there are multicooker. But what Orsik does, and how quickly, no cartoon will do. He doesn't even know what he can
Laslovna
Yes, Orson is a very reliable unit, look at 5002 or 6002, the pressure is quickly released automatically, and now the price in the techno point and the CSN is generally 2600 rubles !!! And you will definitely buy Philips over time, look !!!
