Thank you, only 6 liters are scary, probably too big a saucepan? I can't even imagine the size, for 5 liters I have a MV, they are quite compact, but how does this MV look, does anyone already have such a model?
I no longer remember what a 5 liter pressure cooker looks like. but now I know what a 6 liter pressure cooker looks like.
I now have a Saturn ST-MC9181 - a six-liter pressure cooker. the diameter of the bowl is the same as in a five-liter pressure cooker. only different height. from here I draw the conclusion that the bodies of the five-liter and six-liter Saturn differ only in height, they are the same in diameter.

in use, I do not notice the difference at all. I used to use a five-liter multicooker. now it does not seem that six liters is a huge one.

I understood - I made a rustle with my doubts. Well, yes, these were not just doubts, but real anger and resentment for the time spent and spoiled mood.

the experience of using Saturn is not yet long, but I can already safely say that this is friendship. unambiguously strong and long friendship. friendship on the verge of love. I'm glad that everything turned out that way. if I hadn't been disappointed for the first time, then this time I would not have been so happy, I would not have kept track of time in this way and would not have seen the real advantages.

sellers in the market are already in shock - I bought all the peas. children ask for pea porridge almost every day.
soups are cooked quickly. Yesterday I cooked borscht at high-speed (according to RINA's long-standing advice).

the only thing I still don't like about the pressure cooker is milk porridge, but not because it's bad. just even if you set the minimum time under pressure (1 minute) and release the pressure with your hands almost immediately, the porridge still turns out a little with a taste of mellowness. we don't like that. I like baked milk and fermented baked milk separately, but I don't like baked milk porridge.

well, everything is cool!

Thanks for the answers, I meant SV, and MV answered. If the 6-liter SV differs only in height, then that suits me perfectly. I will probably order. If you are used to CB, then it's bad without it. Good people gave me the addresses of stores in a personal note, I will order.

Galina. no it's not a mistake! We have already discussed here a little ahead!
Saturn 9184 5L was released in limited quantities for TM Comfi. Now the promotion has already passed and it is practically impossible to buy 84!
But there is Saturn 9181 and he is on 6 yrs. It is certainly more expensive, but not much, given the fact that it has more displacement. So you can safely take it. The pressure cooker is very good (y) and differs only in capacity and price.

Nelya, there are five-liter saturns in the int-store, I just found it yesterday for a friend, she is from Russia, came to dn-ck, asked, I found a lot of links by searching.
nila
, sho and at the same price as we took?
Well, it's all the same, it's too late ... I was choosing what is better for my daughter SV Saturn or MV Delfa ... already bought her Delfochka! We decided to let him practice first on cats on a simple one. But she also thought that the action had passed, and she didn't need an expensive one yet ...

Yesterday I cooked borscht in a new saucepan from SKV Dex 40! Everything worked out, the flight is normal!
Thanks again Iruske for helping us get a spare pot!
But now, thoughts still prevail: girl-th: where to get a spare cover and gasket? I look at the girls Dexo-cooked there, in their own topic, have already ordered all sorts of spare parts for themselves, but these spare wheels do not suit us, do they? If the casseroles are almost one to one, so maybe we should group with them on spare caps and rings?
I cooked borscht somehow, then fish. Wash thoroughly with detergent and baking soda and set the drink. So nothing to me, and my husband did not smell any old aromas, and my daughter said that the drink smelled like food! Now I sit and think where should I put the compote on the gas or in Satarn? I'm afraid yesterday's borscht will saturate the compote again. Every time you have to cook lemon soup, but this is not an option either!
metel_007
Nelya, cook on gas. It turns out faster, in SCR it gains pressure for a long time and tastes like richness on gas.
nila
Olya, she has already turned on the gas: (but for me, the pressure cooker has a more intense taste)) I have only apples and a little cherry plum ...
And my gas surface is closed ... unnecessary body movements!

I somehow never looked at such recipes before - cooking in a cartoon for 6 hours
and here yesterday this recipe accidentally caught my eye

Nel, how much time did you expose, on which program and in general, what changes did you make
nila
no ... strictly according to the recipe for stewing for 1 hour. Well, perhaps, the last time a little less oil, it was greasy.

And who will tell you - milk corn porridge - how long it takes, so that the cereal is well, very soft - probably 30 minutes

Mustache, I have fried the liver and cooked rice and fly to the Epicenter! I put corn milk for half an hour and it was not enough. I love the mess!

And today I finally carried out a test for baked milk! I make yoghurt with my own using ordinary homemade milk, and myself ryazhenka with yoghurt sourdough. In 40 minutes we got a very beautiful pink milk. On a slow cooker it would take 5 hours. But the conclusion is that if you need it quickly, then a pressure cooker is irreplaceable, and if it is really tasty, then a slow cooker.
irysska
I tried herring stewed in oil - this is something excellent canned food, very tasty, but with mashed potatoes
Cooked on Stew for 60 minutes. Soft bones turned out
From spices pepper peas + ground black pepper + coriander seeds + 1 small leaf of lavrushka (broken into several parts)
Vegetable oil 5 tbsp. l., juice of 1/2 lemon
I also added 1 carrot.

Nifigashibe maybe it was not peas, but some beads? The fact is that the peas have already been boiled-overcooked in how many girls I have cooked recently, musical soup - 40 minutes, straight in mashed potatoes

about beads it's funny I still have a whole bag, I'll finish it off and still learn, too, I think that more water was needed, but I also thought, maybe I threw it into the fry, and he sort of grabbed his uniform?

IrishWhether you added peas to frying or not - it doesn't matter. The point is in the water, or rather, in its insufficient amount - the peas have absorbed into themselves, and then he had nothing to boil down in.
The proportion of peas - water 1 to 2 When the porridge cools down, it will be very thick.
Therefore, for myself, I have deduced for myself the formula of peas - water 1 to 2 + 1 glass of water in addition - as it hardens, it will not be such a thick puree.

I made corn porridge today.
The ingredients are as follows: groats 3 mst, liquid - 15 mst (of which 0.5 liters of Burenka cream 10%, the rest is water), a pinch of salt, sugar 2.5 tbsp. l. (but it turned out to be not enough, not sweet porridge turned out), a piece of butter.
I cooked from 3 mst because I will give half to my parents, that is, for 2 families.

Time 45 minutes, the choice fell on the Legumes program, although what relation does corn have to legumes, but my beets are legumes

We turned off the light, from 10 am until 6.30 pm! And I was going to cook stuffed peppers. Maybe I decided to cook on gas, so I can't grind the meat. I had to wait patiently when they would give me a liar. All that I could prepare - peel, rinse the pepper, fry in a pan and rinse and pour the rice into the CB. But when the light was turned on, I quickly ground the meat and tomatoes, stuffed it and Saturnik prepared everything for me in 12 minutes!
My daughter came home from work, I had to wait a bit. And my husband did not have to wait. We couldn't have dealt with Dex so quickly.

Lirel, don't worry, the quality of the pressure cooker is quite decent, as for me, if I didn't have a multi Dex 60 now, I would have taken extra. a cup to Saturn from Dex-40 - and I would be happy, but I am now running around with them - either Dax or Saturn I put on the dishwasher, I have no place for both. In the Saturik bowl, the non-stick coating is worse and it is lighter - they saved a little on metal - baking and frying sticks if some sticky one grasps, but its cooking speed is something - in 15 minutes, broth from frozen chicken (backs or wings or legs), then for another 10 minutes. with vegetables and - the soup is ready, jellied meat in an hour and a half, pilaf (if the frying and meat are prepared), add rice - 10 minutes and you're done. And what about legumes and pearl barley, which in half an hour without soaking you will have soft. And canned fish or baked milk for an hour instead of six.
When I brought it home for the first time, also at first - it seemed kind of flimsy to me, and the valve dangles and the display sags when pressed - but this does not interfere with work, the valve is almost in the 90-degree area - it is in the closed position, but opens only when approaching the ledge on the handle, the girls of other pressure cookers complained that it was difficult to catch the position when the valve was closed, literally a millimeter to the side and opened, and we just had to turn the mustache in the right direction.
In general, I wish you to make friends with a new assistant and cook a lot of goodies for my husband

Lirel, do you think that the more expensive the SV will have a better cup? Do you want more expensive? Buy an extra bowl from Dex-40 to your best Saturnik and you will be extremely happy! This is serious! The cliché "more expensive" on the forum has been refuted a hundred times. And with two bowls you will have such convenience In one liquid dishes, dairy, in the other - frying, baking!
I say this because I have a low-budget multicooker with three bowls. She has been plowing every day since 2011, cooked one, took out a bowl, and inserted another. So with SV it is also possible and necessary
