Ingredients

Chinese cabbage 1/3 head of cabbage
dried prunes 250 g
large fresh cucumber 1 PC
leek 5 stems
fresh large carrots 1 PC
spice mix Italian herbs 1 tsp
olive oil 2 sec. l.
salt taste

Cooking method

  • The post made me look for an alternative in tasty and healthy. And by searching the refrigerator for something that can please an organism longing for vitamins, this simple dish was created, and my household (on whom it was tried first) to the question: "Well, how?", Exclaimed: "Delight!" To which my addition was added ... "spring".
  • So, we chop our cabbage as usual, for some reason I love its thick juicy edges even more, near the stump itself. although, they say that only a thin twisted part of the leaves goes into the salad.
  • Three carrots on a medium grater.
  • Cut the cucumber into long pieces, not thick.
  • Finely chop the leek. If you wish, you can also add greens, such as dill or parsley, but I was afraid to overdo it with tastes.
  • Depending on the size, prunes are cut into 2-3 parts, not finely, so as not to creep. But I repeat again - jerky! I didn’t really taste smoked. Smokiness interrupts the aroma of cucumber - not that.
  • Olive oil, spices and salt to taste. Stir and let it brew a little (do not try! Because you will sweep it away immediately).

At the beginning, I did not expect such a combination from the salad! The sweetness of prunes gives such a cool aftertaste to cabbage and cucumber, you just can't stop! Try it. Fast, easy and useful. Especially in the spring!
