Just the other day I made yogurt from classic Activia (for the dough to make pancakes in a pancake maker), I poured cold regular milk 2.5% fat directly from the refrigerator + 1 box of Activia, too, right from the refrigerator, it turned out soooo thick yogurt I barely poured it into the bottle, put it on the whole cycle and did not look until the end signal sounded.
By the way, this yogurt makes the pancakes soft and fluffy, there is no rubberiness like from store-bought kefir
