The youngest carrot bunch
The youngest beet bunch
Fresh green peas glass
Butter OK. 60 g
Lime (lemon, but worse) 1 PC
Sugar 5-6 st. spoons
Ginger root OK. 3 cm

Cooking method

  • Soon every different young vegetable will go. And there are so many vitamins, aromatics and taste in it that it is a pity to digest and extinguish all this to tears. Here is a solution I have for this case:
  • carrots, beets to scrub with a knife (it is still almost impossible to cut off the skin, and it is also pointless), to cut off the tops very sparingly, leaving a decent heap of 1.5-2 cm (it is quite tender and edible, plus - much more useful than the root crop itself), rinse, spread in different saucepan, pour water over, so that it barely covers. Peas can be left in the pods, cutting off only the tails, if the variety is vegetable, or husked, if the "shoulder blades" are not very edible, and pour water into the third saucepan. Add 1/3 butter and sugar to each saucepan, divide grated ginger and lime juice between carrots and beets. Bring everything to a boil and evaporate the water until the vegetables are covered with a thick, shiny glaze. Blow immediately. This garnish is combined with either meat or fish, it is quite worthy, the taste is very exquisite, a little elastic and refreshing. When the young potatoes come in, you can do it too, but, of course, no lime, ginger and sugar - just butter. To your health!

Olesechka, yes, we are kaneshna baluvannye, but if you really want to - there is a way out: we clean ordinary carrots, beets, turnips, cut them into parallelepipeds about 1.5x1.5x3 cm, then cut off their tops to get these types of "ribbed lemons ", and then - everything is as in the recipe. it turns out an elegant side dish worthy of a festive table
