Girls, I also dried apricots in halves. The ripe ones got sour, I had to remove them, and the green ones dried up, but they turned out like Admin. I didn't dry them anymore, I made marshmallows.

Girls, look what kind of electric dryer was released, right up to 80 degrees. Ugly, but not dear

I hope they don’t quarrel for the link, I don’t know how to insert it differently.

Ugly, but not dear

not bad, not killable, since metal
Only heavy, expensive shipping will become: Parcels up to 10 kg ......... ≈ 850 rubles *. (Primorye, Yakutia and the Far East 1150 rubles.)

Added on Tuesday 12 Jul 2016 07:13

pros:
- metal
- there is 80 * - not bad for meat
- there is a box, you can hang a large piece of meat or sausage sticks, the height allows
- trays are not small

cons of this dryer:
- heavy
- trays with a very coarse mesh, for fine cuts an additional mesh is needed (* a mesh for ironing * trousers will do, it costs a penny)
- the box is high and narrow, only 35 * 35 cm, which means that the internal dimensions of the trays are even smaller
- it is not convenient to take out the trays
- and since the trays are completely simple, not cumbersome, then you need to change their places or at least remove the lower one, which is already dry, and then you have to pull out all the trays to get to the lower one
- and now it struck me - the heating element is not covered by anything
- you also need to figure out how to hang large pieces or sausages only if you put a stick on the box on top
- the power is too large for such a small dryer, it eats more electricity

feijoa
Dangerous properties of feijoa

Due to the high sugar content, ripe feijoa fruits are contraindicated for people suffering from obesity, diabetes mellitus and having an individual intolerance to the product.

Also, it is not advised to eat feijoa with hyperfunction of the thyroid gland (thyrotoxicosis).

The fruits are rich in sugars, organic acids, iodine... According to the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, the iodine content in feijoa fruits is 2.06-3.9 mg per 1 kg of fruit

in dried form, the concentration on weight increases, you can eat that iodine

doctors will explain to us better now

chop with honey or sugar, safer, or freeze in slices - finally without sugar, go ahead, even more useful

And the feijoa ?!

Better not, It turns out like a plate of iron, you break your teeth

It so happened that I could not deal with fresh feijoa, and in order to save it, I put it to dry - nothing good came of it
Well, for compote, it will do. And so you won't be able to chew, you can break off your teeth, and she has no taste.

Quince, too, a whole package is waiting for the outbuilding again, thanks to my husband, my caring , outwardly very even), but real I compare with Abkhaz It doesn't even smell like quince ...

Tell me, do you need to dry tomatoes on a grid? (I have a Walter dryer)
I tried to dry it on the marshmallow circle - the tomatoes stuck

I dried the quince, did not experience delight. I didn’t like it either. It is best to make quince with jam or confiture - then you will eat your mind!

We have Volter's (not Lux: polypropylene) - they dry perfectly on grates, do not stick.

Good day.
This year, I will only dry apricots in marshmallows. In the past, the pallets were greased with olive oil. I don’t want odorless sunflower seeds, I’ve seen enough programs that this is not oil at all. In the store today I found a shelf with oils. There are flaxseed and flaxseed and hemp and 10 more species.
And which ones can you use?
After all, the butter remains not pastille, apple with refined sugar. oil rancid from me.
Merri
Sikorka, any vegetable is possible, apply in a thin layer, remove the remains with a napkin.
kuzashka
Sikorka, I dried on silicone mats without oil at all
Irgata
In a couple of years, I found out that it dries well on Teflon rugs, also without oil, and faster than on silicone.

For Sukhovey M I cut out circles, for the cabinet-TRAVOLA I cut off the excess from the rug.

kuzashka
Irsha, does the pastila not leak through the teflon mats or are they not mesh?
Irgata
kuzashka, here is such a sheet (rug) 🔗 , it is solid. does not leak
Sikorka
kuzashka, y thinking isidri 500. In my opinion, there are no silicone or Teflon mats

Here I make pastille on them, never and nothing I don’t grease the trays, the candy can be removed perfectly, the main thing is to dry the marshmallow until fully cooked , not completely dried candy is really difficult to remove from the pallet, yeah ...
Irgata
Inna, this valuable remark, highlight him red and plump - unfinished pastille and teflon and silicone poorly removable
Marika33
SikorkaAfter reading the instructions for Isidri, I also greased the pallets with oil and I really did not like it. Then she began to pour the puree onto the pallet without greasing it. Everything is filmed perfectly! Now I never grease pallets.
We've already discussed this in the pastille topic.

Yesterday I could not pass by and bought a dryer "Craftswoman ssh 0105". Usually, all my purchases of some kind of equipment occur after a long analysis of reviews and ratings, but then the devil pulled me to buy it. I galloped home, immediately shoved a zucchini with eggplant there and began to read the instructions, but she was very "frail" with normal information that interested me, I did not find. I got into the Internet and found out that these dryers are sold by Lenta under the brand name "Great Price". If anyone has one, explain to me the brake, what is the scale on the lid for?

p. from. During the night, the zucchini and eggplants dried up to a crunch, now the carrots are drying, but such an infection wakes up a little through the net. Probably you need to cut it all the same and not rub it on a coarse grater?

I put an ironing net in the tray, and dry all the fine cuts on it, as well as everything that can stick to the trays - bananas, tomatoes, cut not into slices, but with plastics.
Drying grids and pastille plates - what can be replaced? # 118

Your dryer will often have to use nets as the pallets have large holes.

🔗

The lid consists of two halves, the upper one rotates, opening and closing the holes (as you can see there are two types of them there) and along the edge of the small lid there are numbers from 0 to 4. The instructions do not say anything about this.
