And I have two dryers, Delphi and VES, but only one can be marked. And I like both of them, why offend one of them
Admin

Wait a little - I'm just getting started, I will mark all the dryers, I will not offend!

I now have a section reconstruction and an inventory of electric dryers
Have you noticed how many pages of the topic I have scattered across the section so that it is convenient for you to find recipes and search for information !?

Made it so that you could pick two.
Three, I think, no one has, so three can no longer be chosen

Admin tell me. Did you dry leeks with green leaves or just a white leg?
Admin

Leek generally dried - a white fragrant leg and a few leaves next to it, what is fragrant, easy to cut, and can be used in food, salad
pljshik
Sorry Admin, I probably didn’t ask correctly, was the green part also dried? The green part is harsh, but for the broth it seems to me just right, especially the dried one.
Admin
Well, that's what I wrote some leaves next to it (with a white root), something that is fragrant, easy to cut, and can be used in food, salad

That is, not all green leaves, but only partially! This is all for an amateur!

All is clear, thank you. I will go on experimenting.

And I have an ENERGY dryer. Simple, no fan, but the dryer is also a good helper. This year I have dried a lot in it. From the latter, grated beets and black chokeberry. It dries, of course, only due to the heating element located below the pallets. Warm (hot) air rises by itself. You often have to change the pallets in places so that the products on the lower one do not immediately shrink and bake.
And in general, I'm happy.

If suddenly someone is looking for drying, now the price seems to be even nothing, taking into account the discount 🔗

I saw the drying Vinis VFD-550W in the internet But I cannot find the sizes of the trays. Do we have owners of such drying? Visually it seems that the trays are the same as those of Ezidri, so I think if they are the same and there are 5 of them, it turns out cheaper than just buying additional 5 more trays.
Admin

We have these dryers here, perhaps they will answer your question faster. https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=145998.0

Thank you very much for your desire to help, but I saw this topic and since there has been no activity there since April (except for your editing), I thought that in this general topic, someone could answer me faster.

artisan, I have such a drying. Second year. For the first year, I repaired it once under the guarantee, and this summer I was tormented with her. I’ll just put something to dry, after four hours she’s kirdyk, and again carry it for repairs ... So I started looking for a replacement for her. And of course, since there are good reviews because of the good reviews, I first of all looked at her.And the thought of additional trays came to my mind too. I measured my trays: they completely coincide with the dimensions indicated on the site for isidri, I don't remember exactly what the model is called, but average. So I also hope that at least my trays will fit. True, I have not yet decided to buy, as they say, you will burn yourself in milk ... It is embarrassing that I did not find service centers in our city.

But, you have the main sales office of Isidri in Ukraine, you can always contact there, and there are many distributors - just go to Isidri's website, there you will find out everything 🔗

In any case, there are practically no complaints about Isidri, and mine has been serving for a long time and is in health

Friends who are interested, dehydrators (dryers) from the USA have appeared in Moscow.

Previously, they could only be ordered from across the hill. And now here in Russia and buy, and service.

Nataly_rz, THANK YOU!!! And now I'm selfishly interested in the fact that you would buy Snackmaker because then I can safely buy this dryer for the trays

I forgot to say! I'm happy with drying like an elephant! I do not regret at all that I decided to take more expensive than others. Works!! Ugh, ugh, ugh!

And while I hid the dryer for the winter, or maybe in vain? Who-thread dries something in winter?

I cook candied pomelo peels and then dry them. I love him very much, I often buy. It was a pity to throw out so many thick crusts for 40 rubles before - and now we get wonderful sweets like gummies.

How do they cook? Like orange? Soak for three days?

If there are remnants of summer vegetables that are already at the storage limit, you can dry them. Put stocks of jam, jam, etc. on marshmallow, eaten faster

There is a recipe here. The principle is the same. It is soaked according to this recipe for 2 days, and then boiled in 4 doses. Proportion - 1400 sugar and 600 water for 1 kg of crusts. Almost all of my syrup is absorbed. Next time I want to try after soaking to boil and drain the water, and then cook in syrup.

What kind of drying are you writing about?
TanyaTk
here it seems to have revised everything, re-read it. It is clear if you have your own garden / garden - the dryer is an irreplaceable assistant. But are there owners of dryers who buy all the products on the market? And I want drying, and a hundred "buts". There are already so many appliances in the kitchen!
Admin

Yes, you have not reviewed everything - you have not seen the recipes, what our users in the summer, in the fall themselves procured, including from their own and purchased vegetables and fruits, and even from chicken, meat, fish ... https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=174.0, then decide on the choice

This is what drying is good for, so that it is without a definite place of residence in the apartment - where the place is there and put it - the main thing is not to hurt your feet. Dried-worked - removed from sight! Here he gave me a sweet drying - so we have no vegetable gardens, everything is purchased, but they are happy with the device and understand - a useful thing. We tried to make banana and apple chips so far. It is something! Instead of sweets for tea, it's so cool!
They treated friends - no one remained indifferent! :-)

By the way, drying is very cool if the fruits are cut on a wavy grater (I have a Berner grater)! When the slices are dried, they are not curled and they remain even! And I don't even know what explains it, but such wavy ones are tastier than flat sweats!

Thanks for your feedback. Do you only use drying in the summer or in the winter too? I read that fruits and vegetables can also be dried in the airfryer. And I have it just standing idle. Somehow this thing did not suit me. Several times they cooked in it - and abandoned it. It does not replace my oven and slow cooker with anything. I have already decided to sell it, and with the proceeds to buy a dryer. And then I read on the internet that you can also dry fruits and vegetables on the airfryer. Then there is probably no point in selling it to me. I'll have to try making banana and apple chips on the airfryer.

I won't say about summer - mine was presented for the new year. so what we have now is and we are training! I want to try some more kiwish chips.

how do chips differ from dried fruits? And I mean both the taste and the principle of preparation?

They are thinner and crunchy
Dryer?
Hello everyone!

Now I am actively looking for an electric dryer, as harvests are just around the corner!
Please tell me which ones to choose from!
Giraffe
And you write the options. And then we will advise here, but you have not heard about such.
Dryer?
For example, I liked the following:
Bomann / Clatronic DR-435CB / DR-2751
Ezidri (Snackmaker) - (this is the most expensive, but promised to make a good discount)
Vinis VFD-410
Giraffe
I would take izidri
Dryer?
Do you already use one?
Giraffe
No, I have Vitesse. We have a choice only from her and irit. Maybe they'll bring something new by the summer. Although unlikely.
Dryer?
You can simply order via the Internet ... in Ukraine, for example, there is delivery to any city, if necessary, but how you are doing with delivery, I don't know ..

There are a lot of recipes here in Isidri, and the dryer is very high quality and durable https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=174.0 Judge for yourself

And with us this case is risky, but you can completely forget about the guarantee. Even what is bought in the store under warranty can only be taken to the workshop that the store specifies.

Girls, good afternoon !!! I haven't been to my favorite bread maker for a long time, but here again they are choosing a very necessary thing! Last year (though I managed to buy it only in September, the demand was great and was brought under the order) I bought Isidri, there are a lot of impressions, plus she dried me all winter, then leek, then dill, sometimes buy bananas, but they are not very fragrant - cut and in the dryer, for tea the very thing. In short, the assistant does not stand idle in winter. And if you have a dacha, then you will not regret buying. This year I am going to dry raspberries, they say this is something, especially when you throw it into tea, it will immediately smell in the summer.
Dryer?
Thanks for the advice!
I realized that Isidri is the most optimal model! I will order it. I just found someone in Dnepropetrovsk who deals with such dryers - the representative has a surprisingly large discount. She phoned Kiev sites herself - no one even 5% can concede (and I want myself, my brother needs and parents want to go to a private house) - they make a 3-4% discount if you take at least 10 pieces, they say. And from 2889 UAH (maximum equipment of the dryer) -3-4% is not enough. Now I'm waiting for my miracle))))
Antonovka
Girls, I want to understand whether I need a dryer or not, so I chose an inexpensive one - how do you like it?

I bought this less than two weeks ago. It seems normal, but I have nothing to compare with - I have not used such devices before. It seems to me that the thermostat there regulates the temperature of the tena, and not the temperature of the air stream. In any case, in order to make yogurt in it, I set the temperature to 50-55C (normal temperature to get yogurt about 40C). T-ra at different levels is different, even in the instructions it is written about it. The lower the level, the higher the t-ra.
So far, I have only managed to make tomato chips and dried garlic. Bananas and pears are now being dried.

How did you manage to fit the yoghurt containers into the dryer? There is also a height of 2-3cm between levels
