I am not familiar with your dryer, but I will show you my temperature regimes:

electric dryer Ezidri Snackmaker FD500,
Low mode (low) 35 ° С;
Medium mode (average) 50-55 * С
High mode (high) 60 ° С.

35 * C - drying herbs, herbs, delicate products, final drying of fruits.
50-55 * С - drying vegetables, fruits, berries - normal temperature for drying
60 * C - strong drying, drying of vegetables, fruits, berries, pastilles, etc. in the first hours of drying (then switch to the 50-55 * C mode), it can be used even for meat and fish.
True, I never measured the temperature itself, like the dryer is working fine

Compare with yours.

And I recommend to go to the Zelmer website, there should be information about the dryer modes and drying methods
irysska
Admin, thanks for your participation. Now I will definitely go to the site. And what about your dryer, when working at the highest power, the upper trays become the same temperature as the lower ones (both mine and your dryers have a motor on the bottom), or only at room temperature?
Admin

The temperature is the same on all floors, you can feel it with your hand.
But I still change pallets from time to time
irysska
You see, the same temperature. And here and now it has been working in the second mode for an hour or an hour and a half, the lower pan is much hotter than the others, and the upper one is generally at room temperature, barely warm. And what should I do with her, there was no joy left.
irysska
If you just bought it today, plus a guarantee - run with her to the store, change, take - decide!
Yes, today at 18 o'clock and I was running, I wanted to exchange for a start. But they said, they say, the product was already used (after all, we used it for two hours, but how else can I establish the operability of the device - I can't imagine), write a statement to the director - if he allows you to change it, we will change it, if not, then to the service center. By the way, the store of the Technoyarmark network, and not somewhere in the bazaar from under the counter. Tomorrow I will go to the director, probably listening to nonsense about second-hand goods.
irysska
I think I need to change ... I have a second year and everything is fine on it.Both 150 and 300.
Do you notice a significant difference in temperature in the first and second modes? Is the top tray the same temperature as the bottom? Here, at the moment, the lower one is the hottest, and then the temperature decreases, and the upper one is a little warmer than room temperature.

Alas. Your legal educational program may not work for Poltava. In Ukraine, the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights" is currently in force as amended on December 1, 2005, according to which it was not so easy to replace low-quality goods. Now only the product for which the so-called "significant defect" is subject to replacement, if just a "defect", then first repair.

Girls, what are you?
Within 14 days with a check, you can replace and return anything for no reason. You just didn't like the device and that's it !!! I live in kiev for the new year, my husband bought a phone in a week, but N.G. gave him a gift and he doesn’t put on his lip.I calmly passed without problems, whatever they say, you need to stand your ground! And now a couple of months ago, on the third day, my brother and I went to Fozzisushilka to change, changed without problems. What are you? demand! 14 days you are right in this!

Girls, and no one tried to dry the gooseberry? It’s dark in the country, we don’t eat jam, can we dry it for compotes?
Admin

Can be dried according to the principle of dried cherries https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=138737.0

Only first you need to prick the gooseberries, for which you can use a tenderizer, just do not overdo it too - prick, not knead!

Sugar 450 grams per 1 kg of gooseberries.

You can just dry it, but you still need to prick!
It has a strong peel, it will dry for a long time and will not dry out properly.
Pirozhochek
Tax, I will unsubscribe according to the results:

1) dried the boletus - they do not smell very much, dried to the state of bending, there is no moisture on the break, but not fragile like chips (pretty clear definition, thanks Admin ). Stored in a paper bag.

I think that it makes no sense to dry before brittleness - they are almost gone.

2) Whoever tried to dry the watermelon pastille - pour it in a thin layer, because it is very liquid. And so - Nitsche, sweets (I call my child that candy) went with a bang.

A question along the way: do we store it in paper and in the refrigerator?
And then my apricot in a container (normal) in the refrigerator has become very fragile. And I liked her plastic state more.
Who will have what ideas?

3) dried apples. did very well. dry (the cat breaks with a crack) and so soft, then there is no moisture when bending (it is more fun to gnaw them).

Question: which ones are better stored? Dried ones are better to eat, but how to store them?

4) I tried to make potato chips (like in the book, but from mashed potatoes). But I overdried the roofing felts (I usually put drying at night), or .... in general, gnawing is not possible. In short - sorry for the potatoes.

5) Candied fruits from watermelon peels are now being dried.
Actually the question in the studio: who did it, to what state to dry. They dry for a 9h break and another 6h. The state is hard-soft. It feels like elastic jelly candy, but not as hard as store candy.
Do you think that's enough?
matroskin_kot
And I brought the cartoon Moulinex and Kenwood ... Surprisingly, Mush just shook his head, as it was the third transport company today. In one - a box from St. Petersburg, in the other - a stabilizer, and in the third - two cartoons ... The men looked at me soooo at the issue, so I wonder what he told them about my tricks, more they looked like a village idiot They took out candy wrappers, say, auntie, rejoice ...

RybkA. tell me. so I will fold it, should not be felt under my fingers?

and another question. here it is dry. and when he stands on the table for an hour, it becomes as if wet. does it mean not enough dry? Or does it just take moisture from the air into itself and it is necessary to take it away from the kitchen (there is humidity) or wrap it in parchment right there?
and how much time do you have it?
olpe, you will feel rather sticky, from the emerged and already dehydrated juice. This is normal. When touched, there should be no gruel or mashed state on the fingers. You touch, but it is elastic and slightly to the touch, maybe even soft and sticky from the juice that has come out, but not hard and dry. At this point, try to start folding. If it folds normally and nothing creeps anywhere, pay attention, it does not break, but it creeps, and you can safely fold the tube, then everything is fine. It must be plastic!
Last year, it was somewhere until February. It turned out to be kislov, mine did not understand until I gave it to my friends to try. They divided among themselves, all my supplies and stole. They said it’s not right, you’re a mother, you advertise your product, the name is not right. They say that children do not understand that it is delicious from my words. How!

Good evening to members of the forum! Please tell me how best to cut the pepper for drying. And as I understood, it must first be blanched for two minutes. I would be grateful for your help!
Doroteika
I cut it with Berner, it turned out to be rings. The place where the seeds were cut with a knife.
It doesn't matter when the pepper dries, the rings are easy to break, so I don't think the cutting method is that important. Just a burner float turns out beautifully and aesthetically.

Admin, thanks a lot for your help. I bought a pepper today, and this, by the way, is problematic - sometimes they sell such a frail, one skin, then they strive to slip rotten pepper at the maximum price. And the price in Ukraine (in the city of Poltava) on the market for a good pepper is 12 hryvnia. Tomorrow in the morning I’ll do the cleaning-shredder, but today I’ll be lazy, and I don’t want to leave the dryer for the night, because the pepper hasn’t dried yet.
irysska
Good day to all! I dried sweet peppers according to the recommendations of Admin, it turned out great, but only in dried form there is so little of it, I still have to dry it. Today I became the proud owner of a Borner Prima V-power vegetable cutter (I chose a cheerful orange color). As they say, a dream come true id ..... (I will not continue, everyone already understood). One pity - my apples for drying are over, and in the season I cut everything with a knife, I thought that I would not find an original grater in Poltava. But it turns out there is an official representative. I would like to insert photos, but I can't (to my shame). Now I will cut everything that I find.

I have never used a dryer and a complete layman

"I look, everything is low, only Zelmer has high trays, but there are two drying levels and there is no normal temperature regulator, and tray 4 (not enough)"
I have such a drying Zelmer. At first, I also thought that two levels of drying (i.e. two temperature settings) were not enough. But after using it, I was convinced from my own experience that this is not so. For drying apples, pears, apricots, tomatoes, peppers, herbs - it is enough. You can also buy a couple of trays at the service center (if you swap them during drying, everything will dry well anyway). And besides, I liked that drying is still not China - it was collected in Poland. And if you read different forums (not only our beloved Bread Maker), you could see that the thermostats do not work correctly on many dryers (at a temperature of 35 degrees, the thermometer actually shows 50 degrees or more - this is according to reviews of different users). Of course, Isidri is beyond competition in quality, but also in price.
Therefore, the summary: I'm happy with my drying, but it's up to you to decide! Good luck choosing an assistant!

Optimal for dryer:
35 * C - greens
50-55 * С - fruits, chips, additional drying (2nd stage of drying)
60 * С - large fruits, thick-baked berries, meat (initial drying)

Girls, Sukhovey has been working for me since 1995. Temperature from 30 to 70 is adjustable. 5 pallets. The hard worker has overdried more than one ton. About 7 years ago, a Rotor dryer with the same parameters was bought to help her. The pallets are only larger in diameter. I am even surprised at your comparisons. The main thing is drying both small and large (halves of pears, peaches, etc.). I think that all these expensive models are just a scam for money. But that's my personal opinion. Moreover, the processing is carried out mainly in the country and it is stored in the country in a secret place in winter.

We have a VES electric dryer with six drying sections, which have two height positions. But this summer has shown that one dryer is too little for us (our own garden and vegetable garden). I carefully read the whole topic, but I have not yet decided which other dryer to buy. I bow to Dachnik-4, it seems that this dryer is big enough. And I also read the topic about dehydrators, but did not understand what is the difference from conventional dryers.

Electric dryer for vegetables, berries, herbs, herbs, fruits (general questions) There is a proposal!

We already know how to cook, dry, dry in our electric dryers - we have learned!

So, I had a thought - and if we try to prepare decorations, candies, candied fruits, toys and other sweets for the NEW YEAR - to put them as a gift for our children, decorate a home Christmas tree, put in a candy bowl for dessert on the New Year's table, give a gift to our family and friends, take them to work and boast of their skills etc...

On the market you can still buy many fruits and vegetables, watermelons, melons, citrus fruits and have time to cook New Year's delicious!
