Ketsal, OlgaThank you so much for the clarification! I also think maybe the waffle plate with filling and not take it. Are waffles baked quickly? And how evenly are they baked? I have a "Camry" waffle iron (Poland) for 4 waffles. The waffles are baked unevenly, you have to turn them 180 degrees.
Ketsal
Lera Dnipro, one of these days I will try salty dough pies in a sandwich maker. The report will be brought.

Sedne, SvetlanaThe waffle plate with filling is their know-how, such a trick! Rada-dms wrote that it does not use it, maybe something has changed now? Maybe Rada-dms will respond?
Ketsal
Lera Dnipro, sweet minutes for 2-3 on each side, sandwiches are the same, the waffle iron is heated for 5-6 minutes, that is, they turned on and began to cut the filling and form the sandwiches. The waffles are baked very evenly, baked and batter, and plasticine - I made a pancake from it before putting it in the waffle iron. If cheese flows out of the sandwich, it turns into an amber crackling, it is easy to remove it like a waffle iron will cool down. I'm thinking of buying a mold for thin waffles
Lera Dnipro
Ketsal, Olga, Thanks for the clarification! The thing is cool and necessary! We look forward to new impressions from you!

She baked puff pastries with chicken liver. Yeast-free puff pastry Aro from the metro. Fried liver filling with mushrooms through a meat grinder. I didn't like the dough - it didn't stick. From the oven, pies are dry and not layered from a sandwich maker, baked better for 4 minutes on each side. the conclusions in the waffle iron are tastier, but longer (even from a failed test). Longer in the sense that 2 pies in 8 minutes, and there is a whole baking sheet. Convenient if you need to dispose of something. Fok in the phone put in for repair

Girls, please advise - I never made waffles, but my granddaughter asks ... For medium and thick waffles I looked looked - I chose: Clathrosh 3492 or Grass with a SW86 coup - which one to take?

Helen, Elena, I congratulate you on such a cool waffle iron

I baked thin waffles in the Gourmet waffle iron. The recipe was taken by the Giraffe. And for some reason, the waffles are not crispy. Maybe because of the recipe, or maybe I didn't bother them. I like the yellow waffles, not the burnt brown. So all the light waffles turned out to be just soft, not crispy. And a couple of waffles, I pulled out a little later and they turned out to be brown and crispy. Is that how it should be? Are crispy waffles only dark? Alternatively, you can make the light waffles crisp with a different recipe. Then why?
Irina.A
ludmila_27.79, I don't know, my yellow ones crunched too, I had to quickly wrap
ludmila_27.79
Irina. A, and what recipe did you make?

ludmila_27.79, recipe for "Giraffe", I wrote about it, I really like it, and I suggest you look at the recipes for different waffles, they are collected here and there are a lot of them https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=68173.0

ludmila_27.79, Ludmila, there is less moisture in brown ones, you kept them longer. Either try to initially reduce the moisture in the dough, say, by one egg, or dry the resulting dry under natural conditions. In humid conditions, fresh waffles will soften. It often happens with me that at first they soften, and then they still dry up and crumble. You probably know that it is better to lay out waffles on a wire rack, and in no case on top of each other.
Elena Bo
ludmila_27.79, I bake light waffles, because I don't like tanned ones. They can be soft only if they are not thin enough. Simply, after placing the dough in the middle of the plate, close and squeeze it well for a couple of seconds so that the dough spreads as wide as possible. If the dough is thick and does not spread well, add a little milk (no more than 50g.)
Seven-year plan
If the recipe contains liquid ingredients (kefir, water, milk ...), then they will be soft anyway!
The dough for crispy waffles should contain only butter or margarine ... and there should not be liquid ...
And if there is, then sooooo little!
That's when you get real crunchy waffles!

I somehow settled on one recipe, it always turns out crispy and moderately tanned behold and behold, only I replace milk with water and do not withstand the dough for 2 hours, 15-20 minutes is enough

Sugar waffle cones
I found a dough recipe in the internet - just perfect waffles and they turn out by themselves, and for the horns - the very thing!
a source 🔗 there are several of them (I did the second):
120 ml milk
160 g flour
140 g sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 egg
70 g butter (margarine), melted
beat butter, sugar, egg and vanillin (but not hard)
adding flour a little, keep stirring
add water (milk), and knead a liquid homogeneous dough
leave for 2 hours - I WERE WITHDRAWAL THIS TIME!
bake in a waffle iron until golden brown
My side note - poured into a waffle iron using a donut dispenser. The dough is so good and balanced that it spread very well over the waffle iron and the waffles were airy and thin.

By the way, kefir baked and waffles "Light", very crispy, some did not even have time to wrap, this is to the question of the liquid components in the dough

I always bake with a recipe from the Soviet era. I wrote it down in my notebook.
1 glass of sand (I put less) and 5 eggs, beat very well, add 200 g of margarine (I add less, 150 grams) and 1 glass of flour, you can 50 ml. milk (usually do not pour). You can add vanillin for a special flavor. Stir and bake. They are baked very quickly. Immediately, while soft, I roll it up with a tube. I never bake to dark, only light, pretty ones. Otherwise the taste suffers. The tubules are always crispy after cooling, even after a few days. I fold them and put them, without bothering, on top of each other in a heap.

Girls, today I got a waffle iron for cups (a tart-lady), and I want to find a recipe for waffles that are not soaked with ice cream, creams, jelly, ... - sweet.
And also savory ones that will not get wet from salads, julienne, etc.
Someone found such for themselves?
One more question: does anyone have translations of recipes from the instructions for the Unald tart-lady?
In general, I ask for help from the forum

recipe from Dancing waffle as cakes are sold.
Flour-250 g
Water-250 g
Oil R.-1 tbsp. l.
Pour flour into water, at the same time with this twig wreath, mix intensively so that no flour lumps form. At the end of ext. refined oil. Let stand for 20-30 minutes, so that the gluten swells, mix well again and pour over a greased and heated mold over MEDIUM heat. Oil before each new portion of the dough. Bake for ~ 1 min on one side, and another 1 min on the other side.
It takes skill when baking these cakes. Don't be alarmed if they don't work at first.
Pancake-like dough
Try it. I just don't know how about getting wet

And how to bake from this dough in a tartlet maker? If it is liquid, then how is it to be poured into the cell, or what? Too much will pour.
lady inna
Olga, and you download the instruction from the official website and translate it into an online translator. Everything seems to work out there. There is a section on the page of this waffle iron Recipes ( Recipes)
In general, IMHO, so as not to get wet, these tartlets should be made of fatty dough - shortbread or puff pastry. After all, you can make a soft shortbread dough that the device can handle. Well, then, there are all sorts of tricks from soaking: the sweet ones are smeared with chocolate inside, the unsweetened ones - with an egg (although they smear the raw dough, but who bothers to grease the finished ones and bake them slightly)

Basic recipe.
65gr. melted butter
250g sugar
1 pinch of salt
2 eggs
250gr of general purpose flour
450g cold water
Stir everything and leave to swell for 1 hour before baking. Bake for 3-4 minutes.

The rest is just additives to the base, nuts, orange, lemon, coconut ..

I decided to buy a waffle iron and couldn't choose for a very long time. This thread and forum helped a lot. Thanks everyone. Therefore, a report for future waffle lovers:

Waffle iron Vasilisa VZ-1000. (power 1000 W)
I liked the shape, non-stick coating, power regulator, convenient latch, no need to hold anything.
The first waffles were baked according to Anastasia's recipe. Thanks for the recipe, very tasty. I smeared it before the first waffle, no longer greased it.
The instructions say that the baking time is 1.5-3 minutes. The waffle was baked at full power for about 2 minutes.
Only somehow it bakes faster on one side. Probably such a feature of my waffle iron. Further operation will show.

The price in our wilderness is 1720 rubles.

venera19, Anna, Congratulations! And most importantly, what I liked. Delicious waffles!

Masha, less than one tablespoon of waffle dough is poured into the tartlet. Now there is a separate one about her theme.

Lera-7 Thank you, I'm still a beginner in this business.

I also want to buy a device for "thick" waffles. Also a very difficult choice.
While looking at what is available in local stores.
Of course, ordering from the online store is not a problem now. But shipping often raises the price a lot and makes it difficult to exchange in the event that something wrong is found in the behavior of the device.
I will try to look around the area first.
I'm looking for two waffles. Please advise about the power. What are the optimal numbers, 700? 800? And how long should one serving of waffles be baked? What recipe to start with so that even a beginner can't ruin anything?

The cost of delivery from Ozone to Belgorod is 149 rubles to the point of issue. I guess it's not too expensive. And they have no difficulties with the exchange (the girls wrote).

I have a GFgril GF-020 Waffle Pro. Its power is 1000 W. I am very pleased with her, I can not say anything about others. Maybe the girls will advise something. Although, if finances permit, I would recommend it.
And about the recipe, I really liked this one.

I have Clatronic for thick waffles for 2 pieces, the power is 1000 W, although it seems to be not on sale now, but what I want to say is that you should not take less than 1000 W, you are tortured to wait until they bake, there were already bad reviews about low-power waffle makers.
I tested my waffle iron on this recipe

For some reason, I always have difficulties.
But in fact, I do not live in Belgorod, but 100 km from it in the village.

Thanks for the advice. I googled shopping, really such a waffle iron is not on sale yet, it is not known whether it will come either.

And another question: are rectangular (Viennese) waffles somehow different from the "heart" shape? Or is it one and the same "thick" waffles, only the shape is different? Are they the same thickness?

I have for thick Clatronic wafers for 2 pieces, power 1000 W,

I found this company on sale:
Waffle maker Clatronic WA 3607, declared power 1200, but these are "hearts"
Waffle maker Clatronic WA 3606, this one for two rectangular, but power 800.

It is very difficult for a beginner to choose ...
Ketsal
venera19, the hearts are a little thinner and drier, and the thick ones are more biscuit-rubbery

Got it, thanks for the answer.
Then I definitely want rectangular. For hearts, I have an old one, for a gas stove.
For rectangular, for some reason, the power is up to 800W in the main. Here is an ambush.

Hearts are wafers of medium thickness, like cookies (only for some reason I never got crunchy, they were always soft), rectangular are corrugations and they are thick, much thicker than hearts.
I would still advise you to find a 1000 W waffle iron, so as not to be disappointed later.
