And for your impartiality I love you too! And here is what is written on Brand's website (just for objectivity, nothing personal either):
"Actual - Halogen!

More and more often, our customers ask us the question: "Airfryer with which heating element is better to choose - steel or halogen?" One of the airfryer sellers added fuel to the fire by posting information on its website that it is not customary to install "Halogen" in cooking equipment in general and in airfryer in particular. As a result, the buyers of airfryer were divided into two camps - opponents and supporters of "Halogen". We, not accepting either side, will try to clarify the situation with this contradictory "Halogen".

1. Service life of "Halogen". The service life of "Halogen", declared by the manufacturer, is 5000 hours. Let's count. Kitchen appliances used for cooking are used on average 2-3 hours a day. This means that if the airfryer is used every day, the service life of the halogen heating element will be about five and a half years. In practice, few people use airfryer daily, which means that the service life will be 8-10 years. Again, after this period, the halogen heating element can be replaced with a new one.

2. Airfryer manufacturer. The vast majority of factories in China are narrowly specialized. This means that the plant that produces airfryer will never produce hair dryers and other equipment that is far from airfryer, simply for technological reasons. All molds, casting machines and dies designed for the manufacture of airfryer are almost impossible to reconfigure to produce the same hair dryers, or something else. A factory producing airfryer should not have a patent at all. We open the Great Soviet Encyclopedia and look for the meaning of the word patent - "a document certifying the state recognition of a technical solution as an invention and securing the exclusive right to this invention for the person to whom it was issued (the patent holder)" ... A kitchen product - "aerogrill" has never been patented by anyone, but this means that the plant should not have any patent.

3. Pluses of "Halogen". Of course, the main plus in using a halogen heating element is aesthetic. The halogen gives a very pleasant and soft illumination while working. It is pleasant from an aesthetic point of view, and also makes it possible to better see the state and degree of readiness of the food you are preparing. The advantages can also be attributed to the accelerated, compared with a steel heating element, the heating and cooling time of the halogen heating element.

4. Cons of "Halogen". There are two main disadvantages. The first is an airfryer, with a halogen heating element, it is forbidden to turn on if the airfryer brought from frost has not warmed up to room temperature. In all honesty, I must say that a similar rule applies to all household electrical appliances.Due to the sudden temperature drop, the halogen heating element simply burns out, but the steel heating element does not. The second disadvantage is that the glass tube of "Halogen" is, of course, more fragile than a steel heating element and requires more careful treatment. In the event of a strong blow or fall of the airfryer lid, the probability of damage will be higher for the Halogen than for the steel element.

It's up to you, dear customers, to decide, of course. Weigh, choose, buy. "

The truth is somewhere in the middle, the service life of such heat lamps in a quartz bulb is 2000 hours 🔗
and this is from one of the leading manufacturers
That is, the AG guarantee will work out, and then how lucky
Now let's think about why Hotter, having started producing models on a halogen heater, quickly curtailed their production?
The cost price of a light bulb is much lower than that of a heating element, even if I don't believe that businessmen would give up profits just like that ...
Hairpin
It looks like they really piloted quality. And it looks like they won. According to our survey, the number of Hotters greatly exceeds other models.
Let me also remind you that I had a halogen and there is a ten. Personally, I prefer ten.
Keti
There is also such information:
Airfryer models "with halogen" consume more electricity - their power is 1700 watts.

Airfryer models with a metal heating element consume an average of 1300 watts. In addition, metal heating elements are stronger and more durable.

Did someone check the electricity?

I do not want to count the terms of services .... cooking time .... (by the way, he plows for me on average 3-4 hours a day) but my 3 !!!!!!!! people who bought me later halogen, chasing the price, they ALREADY do not fury !!! And so is everyone's business and what to believe. I would trust a person with both devices.
Py. Sy. On NG I smoked both chicken and wings in the AG and the oven .... the comparison is not in favor of the oven, although I have a good one (Kaiser) !!! So decide for yourself ...

Girls, hello everyone!
Maybe someone knows about the Airfryer Redy Set Go Express, from the teleshop? ( 🔗)
He, of course, is not very similar to the real one, but he interested me)) I could not find reviews on the Internet ((

I would call it a sandwich maker - the principle is the same. Two heating elements at the top and bottom, so it's not AG.
Sowa
Hairpin, inserted inactive, right? There really is almost no information

Tanyulya, yes, you are probably right, I just heard about the sandwich maker, but did not see It I saw this thing on TV, so I liked something - and bread, and pizza, and meat, and muffin, mmmmm
Hairpin
I also thought that they called him an airfryer ... well, probably on purpose ... like an advertising move ... or they just confused the electric and airfryer ... I like the second option more ...

You can take it, but if you want AG, then this device will not replace it. And so, I think, there are good omelets, casseroles can be made ... I wanted to take one myself, stopped by the fact that there is a 3in1 sandwich maker

Yes, yes, the omelets are beautiful there (well, on TV they turn out beautifully there). Casseroles - I didn't even think it was yeah
And I have nowhere to put a full-fledged airfryer

And this one will also take up a bunch of places. I have a similar pizza maker.
They put it vertically on TV, so I realized that it can be stored upright
Tanyulya
Nooo .. the diameter of this one is smaller than that of a pizza machine, I think it is possible to store it vertically, I keep a thing for donuts like that.
tatulja12
Yes, Tanyulya, this thing is the size of our sandwich maker. At one time, my dream was to buy it (then it was of a different color and without additional plates and was called somehow differently, but I recognized it). So then I read the reviews and were negative, immediately the hunt was gone. Her quality was lame. And the new one is a little expensive, it is better to buy an inexpensive airfryer. If the funds allow, then the expensive one can. And in TV shops they know how to advertise!
MargoL
I also come to you ...
Yesterday I bought a Polaris airfryer with my husband. In principle, I have been looking closely at them for a long time, but here there was a special offer in selgros - 2100 rubles. I decided that for that kind of money I can afford another toy))

The truth is, I started reading the topic (my purchase was absolutely and classically spontaneous), and I doubted something. He has a halogen ten. But probably in order to understand whether I need such a device as a class or not, will it work? And very often I will not use it, maybe it will last)))

Apps absolutely !!! Let's start with pickled chicken !!!

And about the term of use ... By the time it dies a brave death, you will definitely decide whether it is needed or not. Worse, if you throw it where, and it will just take up space ... and not small ...

In general, congratulations !!!

Ufff. Thank you! you reassured me. And then I already started the topic from the beginning to read and I already got sick - how much I do not understand the issue ...

Where can I get the recipe for this delicious recommended chicken? I dug into the list of recipes - I found several baked Chicken)). You understand, I can't face dirt today - the first try, everything should be at the highest level
Maybe you're talking about your master class with legs along the paths?
Hairpin
NO!!! Come on like this. You make the marinade. Well, vegetable oil, vinegar, soy sauce + seasonings (ginger obligatory) until you like it. If there is a marinator, go there. There is no marinator ... Well then, in a bag with this arrogance and occasionally twist it ...

Do you have a chicken stand?
MargoL
I haven't opened it (grill) yet! I don't know about the stand ...
About the marinade - then I'll put everything in a vacuum container. I will shake it from time to time

And then what to do?
Hairpin
Find this chicken stand ... These are two squiggles ... You fasten them together, and you sew the chicken on top. It is obtained in the center of the airfryer in an upright position. If there is an iron tray, then put a tray at the bottom of the bowl (so that the fat flows there). In general, it is recommended to warm up the airfryer for five minutes before cooking. But the bowl may become hot.
Well, then ... Then the problem ... on my display, where the temperature is, the chicken is drawn ... Therefore, I don't remember the temperature ... It seems to me that you need to set it to 180-200 degrees, at the maximum speed. I do it for about an hour and a half. I would say until the moment of visual determination of readiness. As soon as it turns red, it means ready ...
Like everything ... Only the chicken needs to be well marinated ...
MargoL
Uh-huh. Got it. Boom to seek.
I think I have some kind of automatic chicken there too. Well, there must be 5 pieces announced ...
Listen, Spire, but marinate well - how much, in hours? I'm thinking, maybe I can marinade it tomorrow morning, and bake it in the evening? Otherwise, I'll be at home only by 8, mine will eat me in 1.5 hours of cooking. And today, can I just bake potatoes, with all sorts of fillings?
Hairpin
I think that an hour and a half with regular shaking is above the roof ... But when ... I don't know ... then think for yourself!
zvezda
MargoL Congratulations!!!!! You will not find a stand .... no problem !!! On the lower wire rack your chicken, max.temperature for 1 hour (per kg) into the bowl, drip the beer into it and pour a little beer while cooking !!!!! ALL!!!!
Hairpin
Three hours have passed ... But I don't see the chicken ...
MargoL
eh, and you won't see today ...
Didn't have time for anything. Whimper.
She came, the child threw herself into her arms (10-year-old, yeah) and did not get off until 10 o'clock ... I only managed to read the instructions and plug it into the outlet - to look at the beautifully burning numbers.
In the morning I'll pick up a chicken and put the marinate. In the refrigerator. Otherwise, you won't need to fry it in the evening ...
I found out that:
- I don't have a chicken stand in the kit (but I have some kind of tongs - I can't even imagine how they can pull something out so that it doesn't fall ... and the lid stand is a bent piece of iron, I also don't understand, to what to lean on it or what to hang it on. Or is it generally so simple, by itself a piece of iron)
- there is no blower speed regulator (well, in general, this is expected)
- the minimum heating temperature is 50 degrees, adds after 10.

Damn, I can't go straight. I'll at least go wash it, or something ...
MargoL
Star, Thank you!

My pallet is full of holes. The aluminum plate is like that, it's a double boiler, it's a baking tray. The beer will pour out.

Yes, and it seems to me that you still need either beer or marinade. I'll try the marinade tomorrow - Hairpin first said

I also put in my shopping plan a round shape, d 26. And a stand for the chicken.
Mary Poppins
And I have a stand for the chicken, but it's kind of uncomfortable .. well, or my hands are not the right ones .. I’m a chicken on a wire rack cut across the breastbone (like tobacco). And for about 1 hour (but I somehow dabble in little chicks). The round shape will come in handy, yeah. While she is gone, you can substitute a plate (a lot has already been written about this).
MargoL
I could not resist. Toasted bread.

Well ... Nice. Works quietly, very quickly heated up and toasted.
The only thing - such a vociferous, straight songs performs literally. And somehow his time is strangely added on the timer. It is necessary to read the instructions in more detail!

And - fried only on top. I turned it over - everything is ok, but if I hadn't touched it, it would have been white below. This is normal?

In general, tomorrow - chicken. And I went to bed

When I had a halogen Brand, only the top blushed. When I bought the ten, I began to blush on both sides. I personally associate this with halogen technology, but Dopplet writes that she has a halogen FW, but it is fried in the same way ... Fig knows us who is right ...

Yesterday I bought a Liberton airfryer with a metal heating element and mechanical control, read the instructions and there were even more questions. Please tell me, experienced chefs, is it possible during the cooking process, if the time has not yet expired, raise the lid (to check the readiness of the product) and, if the product is already ready, how to interrupt the time? Some recipes say what you need to cook, for example: 15 minutes at 200C, then another 15 minutes at 200C, then another 15 minutes at 180C. It must be turned on first for the first 15 minutes, then wait until the time runs out and turn it on again, etc.?

Hi !! We will master the new device together - I'm also just starting)).

Here, MargoL, what to hang it on and what to lean on, and you will immediately figure it out with the tongs when you take the hot stand from the bowl.

But I don’t have such handles on my grill to hang this wire. That is, it looks like just a stand is attached, which must be placed on the table.

Hairpin, there are no pictures, but in words ... I am reporting.

Well, I made a chicken. From the morning before work. I bought chicken legs - firstly, I don’t have a chicken stand yet, and secondly, I don’t like the 1.5 kg chickens offered to me - I wouldn’t go to work at all, they cook for more than an hour ...

I had the marinade without vinegar: oil, soy sauce, honey and garlic. Why so - I don't know, I listened to you, dumped what is at home, and it seemed to me good
Marinated for 40 minutes in a container, then the fun began.
It's not clear what is going on in my instructions. On the cover in the table there are some temperatures, in / in the text - others. First, I put the chicken, as it says on the plate, for 35 minutes, 250 degrees, a high grill. After 5 minutes I realized that the hams were already decently so tanned, and if things go on like this, I'll just burn them. I lowered the temperature to 200, put it on a low wire rack and turned it over. Then she left, and they were there themselves puffing without me. Well - a bit heavily tanned, of course, but not coals))). My husband will try, then I'll tell you.

I have such an observation ... or rather, an assumption. I will share.
On the top wire rack yesterday my piece of bread was fried only from the top side, I wrote. The chicken, too, when I moved it from the top grate, was also completely cold and white below. But on the lower grill, it seems to me, it was fried from all sides. I put a local plate on the bottom of the grill and covered it with foil. Maybe the foil reflects the radiation from the quartz grill and fries from the bottom? Or do I have a very rich imagination and haunt my technical education?

I do not have a multicooker, although I chose between a multicooker and an airfryer, in favor of the latter I outweighed the possibility of heating, since there is nowhere to stick a microwave in a small kitchen.
Another question: in an AG with mechanical control (judging by the instructions), the time timer works like on "old" washing machines - with a countdown, that is, when the lid is lifted, the AG does not work, but time goes on. So this is what I am leading to: if the product is ready, and the time is set incorrectly, how to stop it? Lift the lid and wait until it hits?
And how, with mechanical control, to change the temperature - to wait until the end of the cycle (and risk charring of the product) or turn the knob towards decreasing temperature right when the AG is running?
Probably I ask too many theoretical questions without starting to use the AG, but I want to understand everything "on the shore", than then gnaw coals or spoil the AG.

Turn the temperature and time knobs while the AG is running? The instructions say that you cannot turn the temperature knob counterclockwise (this is just to decrease).
