What models should you pay attention to? And what functions, for example, self-cleaning, are needed or is this nonsense, do you still need to wash?

1. A pallet is placed below. So if something is being done that is not splattered all over the bowl, you can simply wash the pan;
2. But if splashed ... Alas, only a dishwasher. I don't like the option to wipe it with a cloth. but the state of the airfryer with a bracket without a bowl ... The bracket rests on the bowl. So while washing the bowl, you have to somehow lean it against the wall with the risk that it will fall ...
Size 3. Huge and heavy. It makes no sense to look for small options, because the main dish there is grilled chicken. And for her it should be big.
4. Brand. All the same, I vote for Hotter. Due to the uniform golden brown crust on all sides.

I don't want to keep such a bandura on the table. I have the following thought. Place it in a cabinet with telescopic rails. During cooking, I will open the cabinet, put the food in, cook (the airfryer is pulled out at this time). Take out the dish, then send the flask to the dishwasher. Is it real or I was dreaming. The width of the cabinet is 45 cm. I have no idea, can the flask be easily removed? Does everything else remain clean?
Hairpin
1. In the dishwasher 45cm. the flask fits. But with the handles of the stand ... I'm not sure. I don't think so.
2. The flask can be easily removed.
3. The protective grille is still getting dirty. But to wash it, you need to unscrew the screws.
4. It is heavy ... What if the cabinet overturns?

If you want to do this, then buy the airfryer with a removable lid, because the lid on the bracket cannot be lowered if there is no flask (well, if you will wash it in the dishwasher, and you want to push the airfryer into the cabinet). The flask can be removed very easily. The lid and grate are easy to wipe and that's it.

Hairpin, please measure the width and depth. In the internet there are no dimensions at all The cabinet will not overturn, there is a monolith stone countertop on top, and telescopic guides are 30 kg. stand (at least promise). On the fridge. And thanks to the post Tatuli12, we can decide that it seems to fit ... Especially sideways. And it's not hard to take out. I take it off the refrigerator without a chair. I am 170cm tall and weigh about 65 kg.

But is it tastier in an airfryer than in an oven with grill function? A pyrolysis oven can be bought, but it seems that the owners do not use it. Someone wrote this with us. And if it's just as tasty in the oven, then of course I won't buy it.
And for a dishwasher I am 60cm. highlighted.
Boo Boo
It tastes the same, well, at least for me. But the taste and color, as they say, all markers are different. And the oven most likely eats more eluptricity, although ........... maybe not, there is the same spiral with a fan, well, maybe only due to the larger volume of the oven. Do you have electricity or gas?
A 60cm dishwasher is a very good idea.
kolynusha
I can both electric and gas. But I'm leaning towards electric, its functionality is wider. Here, it's good that I looked in, maybe I don't need it if it's the same. There will be a place for another device. Maybe someone else will catch up with someone and an oven with a grill and an airfryer.

An electric oven is better. The conversation is not about an oven with a grill or a convection oven. This is also an additional mode.

I have both. All the same, I make meat, fish in an airfryer, and in the oven, mostly baked goods and casseroles. I like that the fat flows down in the airfryer. You can cook chicken on the upper grill, and put potatoes on the lower grill, it turns out very tasty.
Boo Boo
belk @ But is there a difference in taste?
In the oven, you can cook in the same way on the wire rack, so this is not an indicator.

I like to taste more in an airfryer, and it is easier to clean it than an oven. Even in the airfryer the whole process is visible, no need to look again.

I do not argue about laundering.
Did you cook in the oven on the airfryer mode? it just seems to me that the taste is the same
belk @
I cooked in the oven as usual. I'll have to try it for comparison. I use the grill mode on baked goods, it bakes better. I have an airfryer for 6 years, I bought it when the oven did not work well. Now the stove has been changed, but I still use the airfryer.

It stands on my countertop, it’s not convenient for me in the closet, maybe if someone has a removable lid, it will be convenient, and it heats up great.

kolynusha During the operation of the AG, heat is generated, this must be taken into account.

I'm not talking about the grill mode. In ovens, there is an airfryer mode, only it has a different name, I call it thermal ventilation. In my oven, there is a round heating element on the back wall and a fan behind it. It is in this mode that the taste of meat is the same as in the airfryer.

I wrote above that the cabinet door will, as it were, extend outward on telescopic guides. And during cooking it will stand in the extended state. Something like this, only there will be no upper shelves.

The airfryer is large and very heavy. Whether it will suffer or not, I don't know, but I think that if there is a place for it in the closet, then the work surfaces are not small. Maybe, nevertheless, if you really want the airfryer, it is better to plan it on the work surface. I know that you don’t love, I myself am. On my desktop and on the table where we eat it costs nothing. No, I'm lying, a bottle of sunflower oil and a laptop. ))))))

Conveyor grill, exactly as in the picture, only the company is not Hotter (we do not have them at all, I have been looking for it for a long time). The store said Japanese, 27 months warranty. in function and appearance from Hotter is no different. I haven't tried to cook yet, tomorrow I will make chicken. Instruction book in English and Persian. Can anyone have instructions in Russian? Or links where you can download this case?

I agree with all posts Boo Boo... I have an airfryer and an electric oven with all the bells and whistles and with an airfryer function. The taste of the dishes is the same. Even smoked fish. In them, just like in the AG, you can put a tray for dripping fat. In such ovens, the fan is protected by a grease screen - it is very easy to clean. And during cooking, the light inside is on, so everything is also visible. And it cooks in the oven much faster.

KolYnusha, I have AG for the third year, so let me express my thoughts. I changed the kitchen when I already had AG, so I immediately ordered a large round sink. It is not convenient to carry it to wash it in the bath. If I understand correctly, you want to place it in the bottom drawer. It is very convenient for storage, but not for cooking, it seems to me. When cooking, it should be higher, you need to see both from the side and from above, and not squat or bend over all the time. And it is hot enough, there will be condensation on the doors and in the cabinet. And as for the need ... I like the taste of food in AG, someone in the oven. Then, if the family is large and you cook large portions all the time, then it may be worth cooking in the oven. And I, for example, only sometimes fry onions and carrots on the stove, and bake pies in the oven, and almost everything in the AG and in a multicooker. Yes, and it is also very convenient to put the airfryer on top of the stove, covered with a lid and cook.
kolynusha
Thanks everyone for the advice. I give up this idea. First I will buy an oven with this function, and then we will see. BooBoo, dopleta what models of ovens do you have? https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=1914.135wait.

Girls, they returned to me my airfryer with an updated halogen spiral from repair, the first fruits of this were visible yesterday at lunch - I fried my favorite tunics and french fries, my husband had a fight with the children for potatoes, it was such a joke when he took a handful of potatoes from a plate and I dragged to my plate, as if a handful of gold, and even said "don't bother, I just tried a little from the first batch," then everyone looked at each other and laughed until they had a pain in their stomach, how they missed the food from the airfryer))) Now I'm fattening my own slowly, soon my daughter's birthday, I'm terribly glad that again there will be hot sandwiches on the table, such as no one cooks)))

Let's make it clearer for people thinking about buying, faster than what? the taste is different compared to what?
eva10
I also have a good Gorenie oven. But I didn’t regret buying AG for a minute. I have a small family and I cook in AG most often directly on the grates, without a uniform. At the bottom is a pallet. All excess flows down and you can choose any crust. Do you want it - roasted, you want it - no. The vegetables are amazing. But I don't have to cook mountains of food every day or heat it up in 30 seconds. The husband can perfectly wait 6 minutes and then eat from a hot plate. And then, it is not so heavy and huge that it could not be rearranged and washed without straining. Especially if the husband does it.
belk @
I wash in a special mode, along with the grates, and rinse in a standard sink in the kitchen, it fits quite well.
Katyushka
My AG in general stands on a stool at the wall, when I need to, I put it on the countertop, and then back on the stool, and next to the stool there is HP on the floor. And our kitchen seems to be not small - 11 meters, but there is no place - while we live with my father-in-law, I try not to place my appliances in the kitchen too much.
belk @
By the way, I used to stand under the table - the kitchen was only 4 m, and I used it almost every day.
zvezda
I, too, did not regret buying AG for a minute !!!! And to wash ... I immediately wipe it and wash it very rarely, and I wash it in the dishwasher ...

Not an airfryer .... but a GRILL function !!!! it can be turned on simultaneously with convection (for me, for example), but probably due to the large volume (compared to AG), the effect is not the same !!! Checked !!!
Grill
Built-in grill in the oven.
Grilling is a method of cooking food using heat radiation created by a heating element located above the food being prepared. Due to the high temperature, the food is quickly browned, acquires a beautiful crispy crust, while remaining tender and juicy inside. The grill is suitable for steaks, fish, toast, hamburgers, casseroles, vegetables and other foods in bread crumbs.

For the hundredth time I’ve already said, you don’t seem to hear me. Some ovens have an airfryer function. Only it is called differently, specifically in mine - thermal ventilation. The taste of dishes cooked in the oven with such a function and in the airfryer is the same. That is why I ask you to write more accurately, the taste is different compared to what? From your words, I conclude that the taste is different compared to cooking in a conventional oven with a standard set of functions. I do not argue with this, here you are absolutely right.

dopleta
Star, I really do not want to enter into polemics with you, but I am also a Taurus, there is nothing to be done. Boo Boo and Anastasia right. Grilling is different. More advanced ovens don't have a grill per se. There are (and these are the advantages over AG) - a) both upper and lower heating, which can be manipulated; b) infrared heating; c) infrared heating + cold fan; d) heater + hot fan; e) heater + cold fan; f) separate ventilation heating. Defrosting, Aqua clean function, grease filter, several cooking levels (up to 5 telescopic guides), delayed start and timer switch-off. And it also glows constantly during operation. The only (supposedly) advantage of AG remains - a smaller volume, but it is also doubtful, since it cooks in the oven much faster, and there you can cook more dishes at the same time. And the taste (I specially cooked smoked fish both there and there - the same).

And again no. Convection is just a fan. At the same time, the upper, lower ten or grill or any combination of these modes works. And thermal ventilation (airfryer mode) is different, there is a heating element on the back wall, in front of the fan.Passing through it, the air heats up and the food is cooked with a hot stream of air. It turns out exactly an airfryer, only the air does not blow from above and from the side.

With such an oven, the airfryer is really not needed. I have a question - is it possible to smoke in such an oven, as in an airfryer?

Yes, may be. But the difference is still minimal. All the same, air is involved in blowing and cooking, as in an airfryer. So, in general, it turns out that it is not particularly needed, even just with convection.
