This, apparently, will depend on what you are cooking and why you need an airfryer in general.
What do you want to cook in it?

I am glad that I also found support in your face!

On the other hand, it is troublesome to drag the oven to the country house.

I have a good oven too. But my husband really wanted an aerogrill. His arguments: it consumes less, does not require preheating, that is, it consumes less My arguments: there is an oven, takes up a lot of space in a small kitchen, I suppose that we will rarely use it.

As a result, the airfryer was bought. The place really takes and cannot be removed anywhere.
But we regularly use it for hot sandwiches, toasting bread, making croutons, making pizza on ready-made bases. Only in it now we cook fish (on the grill - the fish is tasty and does not float in fat). Cooking "ready-to-eat" fried chicken convenience foods is also in it. We constantly heat up bread products (cakes, pies, pies with filling), it is necessary to sprinkle it with water first and to heat it up. It turns out with a crispy crust (I won't even compare the result from the microwave). We fry the chicken.
I still want to try baking in it, but I can't, because the family is 4 people and I bake in large quantities.

In general, think ...
Mata Hari
If you really do not need it, this is a good saving of money (we bought ours for 5 thousand rubles) and if we did not use

I really want the airfryer. I live in Stavropol and Kavminvody, which model is better to take and where? tell the inhabitants of this region?
Lenusya
mowgli , I saw various brands of air grills on the TD Poisk network (Pyatigorsk, Minvody) 🔗, in M. Video and in Technosila (Pyatigorsk).
In Pyatigorsk in the supermarket there is a department "Aero grills Hotter", in Stavropol: TSUM
1st floor, Berghoff department.

Oh, Thank you very much, and what brand do you recommend to make it cheap and cheerful ..))

I bought Beaumark Halogen Oven, called in Russia - Aero grill ...
All the fun $ 79.09 with dogs ...
I've already prepared chicken legs ...
I didn't realize, put potatoes on the second floor, legs on top, and potatoes on a low lattice, the first pancake ...
Tanyusha
Pakat, well, what is the first impression of the device?
Pakat
A good device, but it is very large, cumbersome, barely attached it ... The capacity is 7 liters, plus a ring for another 5, only 12, now a turkey, or a large chicken as a whole, no problem.
I washed myself after cooking, it remains only to rinse and dry.
Defrosts better than microwaves, more evenly, no harmful effects of microwaves.
The rest is in operation ...

I really wanted to talk about this topic. I realized one thing that if you have any experience, you should definitely share. After all, I also never thought that I would want an airfryer, but after reading a lot of information on the forum, I immediately decided that this thing is extremely necessary for me, but unfortunately Brand 35129 (thanks to the members of the forum), which I dreamed about, I managed to buy only in Moscow, through a transport company. And this is a miracle in my kitchen. Delight! Exactly six months this is my best ally every day. For working women, a godsend. I have a family of 3 people. I come running and immediately put soup, borscht or pickle, porridge with vegetables in jars. There fish or meat, right on the wire rack. And while I'm shredding the salad, dinner is already ready. Potatoes are great too. Mine like potatoes on a charcoal grill (the effect is about the same). I just cut the potatoes into 4 pieces and into rast. oil with spices. Further to the lower grate by 235 gr. for 40 minutes at high speed. Super. She made smoked mackerel and hot and cold smoked. Try a particularly cold one. I clean the mackerel, mix with 3 tbsp. l. salt, 0.5 tbsp. l. sugar, 0.5 tbsp. l. liquid smoke (this is better than saltpeter, which is added during manufacture in production). 2 days in a bag in the refrigerator. Then at the lowest speed at t-re 65 degrees. You can eat it right away, or in the fridge for an hour to grab. Delicious! I won't even write about chicken in any form, barbecue, meat, cutlets. Delicious. And most importantly, all unnecessary fat flows down. The stomachs of my household stopped hurting. And health is the most important thing !!!!
Melanyushka
luda_smol, and you do cold smoked mackerel on sawdust? It seems that they recommend smoking with alder sawdust, or is it just good with liquid smoke? I will not dare to smoke, but I want to try homemade smoked fish from AG.
dopleta
Melanyushka, only with sawdust, without liquid smoke you will not achieve smoked taste.
Melanyushka
dopleta, that's why I'm asking, is it possible to do without sawdust? It seems from the description that only marinating using liquid smoke and at the lowest speed at t-re 65 gr. I just don't want to bother with sawdust. And if people smoke without them, I will also try to do so.

I really need advice. I want to buy an airfryer in pair with a cartoon. In our city I found only Hotters and Mystery. Hotter, to be honest, is expensive for me, and Mystery is only one-speed and mechanical. I plan to cook vaerogrille potatoes, meat, in pots and pastries. Tell me - is the presence of three speeds really important, or can you somehow adapt to one speed?

In my opinion, gear shifting is a very important function. Although, of course, you can adapt to everything.

I fully support this statement.
luda_smol
Melanyushka! To be honest, I don’t bother at all. At first I was afraid, because in our view all concentrates are chemistry, so I poured liquid smoke a little bit and in the end did not get the desired result. And when I did it with 0.5 tbsp. spoons and moreover added not on the last day, but immediately costs 2 days, it turned out excellently. At least, the family asks not to stop, so that there is always smoked fish in the refrigerator. Try it, you won't regret it.
SupercoW
Sheala, when I bought my AG, I still did not know what kind of animal it was. the girlfriends had no one to tell. that's why I bought it according to the principle "we take the cheapest, so that it would not be a pity to throw it on the balcony as unusable." at that time I didn’t even know that there are several speeds in AG.

I've been using my simple AG for almost a year now, I'm happy. I don't even know why we need different blowing speeds. no, I certainly don’t deny that they are needed for some reason, but I don’t see why yet.
I wonderfully get grilled chicken, and grilled wings, and fried potatoes, and baked potatoes, and a lot of things in pots (porridge, soups, milk porridge), and biscuits are wonderful, and casseroles.
the only time when something didn't quite work out was small cupcakes in a silicone mold, I don't know why, but the bottom was white.
I also heat sour milk for cottage cheese in the AG, instead of the oven.

so I'm happy with my AG, and with the fact that I spent a completely budgetary amount on it.
Sheala
Tanyulya, sazalexter Thank you

SupercoW, thanks About the grill and pots, for some reason I had no doubt that it would work, but about baking I was tormented by doubts - which recipe you can't open - different speeds are involved everywhere ... And how do you bake at the same speed?
And also tell me - is your airfryer halogen or shade?

Yes, I just do not pay attention to the speed and that's it.
I opened the recipe, looked at the dosage, adjusted it for myself, the main thing was to look at the temperature and time. included the whole business.

in fact, I don't see much on the internet anymore. somehow got used to my standard dishes and just wrote down my time and temperature.
but in the beginning of course I looked.

I have a halogen. I also did not know when buying that there are also ten. then I read it, there are pluses and minuses.

Sheala, You know, I always said, I'll buy a cheap one, and if I like it and break down, then I'll buy a normal one ... now I don't say that - my simpleton suits me 100%, if it breaks, I'll buy the same one.

I bought the Hotter HX-1098 Smart Airfryer today and ran into a problem.

First, as it is said in the instructions, he warmed up for 6 minutes. Happened.

Then I tried to make a fish. 20 minutes - ready.

Then I decided to make a chicken. I set the time to 35 minutes, the temperature to 260 and the air rotation speed. I press start - nothing. Zero reaction.

The temperature (on the screen) begins to decrease and stops at 117-118 degrees. I waited 5-10 minutes, nothing happens, nothing turns on, the timer does not start counting down.

I've been messing around for an hour - to no avail. The lid is closed tightly, there is power, the buttons respond with a squeak, the delay start timer by zeros ...
upd - figured it out)

the cover had to be squeezed

Dear owners of the airfryer, we really need your help. I love vegetable shashlik: peppers, mushrooms, eggplants, baked on skewers, etc. on the grill. I am puzzled whether it is possible to create something close at home. I read that they make meat kebabs in the airfryer. What about vegetables? My oven is electric and the most ordinary one, without additional functions, the microwave is also very simple, and tenderly - my favorite multicooker is clearly not suitable for such ideas. It means that a third-party device is clearly needed. Is an airfryer suitable for this role?
sazalexter
Rapunzel In AG you can bake vegetables, for example on a wire rack, but without adding "liquid smoke" these will be just baked vegetables without the aroma of a fire

I think the AG will cope with this task.
I made meat skewers on skewers - it turned out great.
did ratatouille - it also turned out great. in ratatouille, the vegetables on top were semi-dried, semi-baked.

so if you put vegetables on a skewer, everything should work out. of course the taste will be different, but the general meaning of "baked vegetables" will be!

So my disappointment appeared. Today we took the airfryer to the service - the heating element and fan do not work, and the electronics turn on. The service center made it clear to us that this is a typical problem. Wait 45 days now
And there is no smell, even at first it was not ...
If not for this breakdown ... the airfryer suits me in everything

35130 is halogen and the cover is removable. 35129 - steel heating element, and a cover on the bracket. If the removable cover is convenient for you, you can take the first one. But if space allows you (the height of the hanging cabinets), then the second is better.

Take a look here... This is the height of the airfryer with different covers. On the bracket, in my opinion, it is more convenient because you do not need to look for a place for the lid every time. I just lifted the lid and that's it.

I have a very small kitchen, finding a place for a hot lid is very problematic. it was for these reasons that I chose the bracket.
besides, there are no hanging cabinets in my kitchen.

Hello. Congratulations to ALL on VICTORY DAY! The question is for those who use cans instead of pots. What do you take instead of pot lids? I have no pots, but I really want to try the stew and the soup. And yet, I tried to make a French-style lean dish of boiled potatoes, zucchini, onions and mayonnaise. everything except potatoes is not baked. What's wrong with me?

I cover the cans with foil. Only it needs to be well wrapped under the neck, it can be carried away by the wind. If necessary, I pierce the holes with a toothpick. I want to buy some pots.

To be honest, I don't know what a "French lean dish" is, but I often make vegetables in AG.
I have tomato, zucchini, onion, eggplant in ratatouille. first, everything is under the foil for 40 minutes at the maximum temperature, then I remove the foil and another five minutes.

what could be wrong? low temperature or time is not enough. well there may still be.

VIKI and SupercoW, please accept our family gratitude for the kind and understandable answers. We will study in order to enjoy our table gatherings. I wonder if there is a difference between a jar and a pot, is it worth it to strive to buy a pot? And what is better to choose between glass and clay?

to be honest, I never knew what my model was. just looked specifically at the sticker - Perfezza 816D.
I tried to find a picture on the net, but my grill is not close. here is really mine:
Conveyor grill: model selection, tips, reviews (1)

displacement seems to be 12 + 5 liters.
included:
- a cover with a control panel (I have it on the bracket)
- glass bowl
- expansion ring
- tongs for removing food / dishes
- grate for bread
- frying pan
- high and low grille

I rewrote it from the instructions. it's strange why they didn't write, but there is also something like a steamer grate - perforated garbage and a set of small skewers.

I also noticed that there is no description or photograph. I have an electronic one, but there is no guarantee if you buy through an Internet store that they will not slip another model and say that it should be so.
I bought in comfy. I didn’t know what models there were, I just saw, fell in love and bought.
recently I saw a model of 7 liters ... it seemed to me some kind of toy. too small. I probably couldn't put anything there. but I'm guided by my family.

h. s. I think I was so bad at it ... I just looked at the instructions, it says that there is a delay in the start ... but I used it and did not even think that there is such a thing in my AG ... urgently needs to be checked.
tigra-tigrica
Beautiful. I just looked at the photo, so there are two regulators and that's it, and nothing to do with yours. Some website indicated that it has a delayed start. So it turns out to be electronic. And what is min t? Or maybe the fan speed switches there completely by accident? And what are these three stripes and the button at the bottom under the two together.
