Ha, ha, ha There are already more of them than surfaces on the tables, and if you cook all of them at once, then you can feed a company of hungry soldiers.
Qween
goose ,natalka, Anastasia, thank you for your responses .

Of course, I love kitchen appliances, but at the moment I tend to your opinion, Anastasia .

None of my friends have an airfryer so that you can taste like chicken cooked in the oven and the airfryer. I have to "turn on the thought" myself.

I just got fired up with the idea of purchasing an airfryer after I tried the chicken wings cooked in it from friends. Fast, juicy, well done and crispy. How many before that I read about this device on the forum, it didn’t even flash that I needed it, and after tasting the product it caught fire. I needed it very urgently. Three days of searching, studying information on models and firms, and he's mine.

On Saturday I also bought an airfryer in the Metro - SMILE AG1901 price 2594r. but haven't tried it yet

Qween With a good oven, the airfryer is not needed. But it is needed in order to bake the grill, while getting a real crust

I bought an airfryer three days ago. Before that I cooked everything in a double boiler. Her basket was broken and I was going to buy a new one. But one wonderful person advised to buy a multicooker, or better - two multicooker. I was going to, but you won't find them with fire during the day, but they are ready to bring them on order for big money. In general, I read our forum for a long time, weighed all the pros and cons and ... bought an airfryer. It really looks like a small convection oven. But, in my opinion, it is much more convenient than the oven in terms of cooking and washing, not to mention functions. True, I have a gas oven, without convection, so the airfryer is beyond competition. Advantages of AG for me: you can cook at the same time on several levels (for example, I cooked 4 large chicken legs and 7 small pieces of meat on the lower rack, mushroom julienne on the upper rack in a special "rice cooker", and at the edges two more large potatoes, cut into four parts, of course, had to put an expansion ring. Everything was prepared in 35 minutes + 30 minutes preheating); you can use your own dishes: ceramic, metal, glass; many functions; the electric meter turns slower than when the steamer is running. Yes, the airfryer is happy with a large flask, which complicates its washing, but I resorted to a trick - I put a tray on the bottom, onto which the fat dripped. I am sure that the happy owners of the dishwasher will not have any problems with washing the flask at all. I should also note that during operation, the airfryer heats up very much and even nearby appliances heat up. But since he cooks quickly, he does not give a terrible heat, in addition, the fan working in the airfryer accelerates the hot air. I have a VES airfryer model AX 747D, I did not find Hotters on sale, but outwardly VES looks like a hotter one like two drops of water.
I want to try baking pies with apples, otherwise I didn't even want to bother with my oven.

What can I say After I subscribed to the forum, I learned sooooo many interesting things about all kinds of kitchen appliances: I bought a Panasonic (constantly at work), then I read a cartoon (I want), Then a waffle iron efbe 3/1 (I want), I went to the Metro , and there an airfryer and even for that kind of money (bought it), went to Auchan and there UNIT 1000 for that kind of money (bought it). But now the cartoon disappears, and it remains to find an EFB of atoms in only shorts, you can stay. Here I sit and think, because I lived without all this normally, and now every day there are some new items on the forum and I want everything. But I've already turned on the brake, but I'll still find the waffle iron

Trust the owner of the airfryer that with a good oven He's not needed! Everything is much more convenient in the oven. Moreover, it is heavy. You can't put it on the shelf ...

It is very sobering. This is how I draw it to myself in my mind, in between the rainbow posts. It would also be interesting to find out what is more convenient in the oven.
Dear happy owners of the airfryer, please do not be offended by my post. This is the agony of choice.
This is the first time I doubt so much the need to buy a new device.
Nat_ka
So now I began to doubt ...
Qween
Nat_ka, I think that we will help you to make the right decision for each other.

I have a simple example - a slow cooker. Instead of her, no device will cook porridge so well. And baking pies in it is also good. Or a bread maker - as "almost automatic", is irreplaceable. Microwave - Heats food quickly. Etc.

And the airfryer does not make unique dishes. IMHO

I think that Hairpin will throw more "wood" into our fire.
Nat_ka
Qween , I also have a cartoon. But I don't have a normal oven. Rather, I have it - gas, with a good grill, but without convection. Cakes (basics) I make exclusively in the cartoon. The patties are pale or burnt. I experimented with both the height of the baking sheet and the temperature. Well, they are not made ruddy Therefore, I want an airfryer
PS: I'm also thinking about drying for vegetables and deducted that it is possible to dry them in an airfryer.
Qween
Nat_ka , so you have a completely different story!

I have a dryer, and the oven does not torment the pies.
Have you seen some handsome baking in the airfryer sazalexter ? A lovely sight!

In general, you know my opinion, I'll just add ... firewood is not firewood ... I advise you to rely on the opinion of people who have used and have at the same time:
1. Microwave with convection and grill;
2. Oven with convection and grill;
3. Convection oven.

I understand that we have members of the forum who have troubles with ovens, and microwave ovens without convection. In this case, an airfryer is needed.

I once did an experiment on a visit. There is a microwave - Sharpe with all the bells and whistles. I made a weekend breakfast (eggs + sausage + something in sour cream and wrapped in puff pastry) and a third in the oven, a third in the microwave, and a third in the airfryer. Best of all was from the oven, then from the microwave, and the airfryer trudged far behind.

Friends! Do we still have forum users who can choose between these three devices?

P.S. And I remind you that I have a cheap airfryer. Not Hotter. Maybe Hotter is better, but ... wash ... in the bathroom ... I don't want to !!!

Absolutely to the point! Here I have chicken wings very well in microwave with the CRISP function and with convection they are very crispy and fried, but like everything else too (I laid out a photo of meat on a CRISP plate cooked in a microwave, I also laid out pies there and everything else). Everything that is not in the microwave is cooked in a multicooker. And the oven is involved, because it is good for me, it does not cause any trouble. That is why I am absolutely calm about the airfryer with all my great love for technology.
Qween
Hairpin , a very revealing test.
Did you need to preheat the oven longer than the airfryer?

Anastasia, I am relieved after your last post, despite the fact that I do not have a CRISP plate (or a plate with CRISP).
Mueslik
I have an oven with all the bells and whistles - convection, grill
and-nevertheless, the airfryer is very much in demand ... in the summer it is very hot and sometimes you really don't even want to turn on the oven
we turn on the airfryer all the time in the summer, chickens, chicken legs
much less heat from him
and in general you can take it to the loggia - I have a socket there, I practice it, our region is hot

In fact, there is something that distinguishes an airfryer from a microwave and convection oven. This is the cooking method: on a wire rack without any trays, when the fat flows down. As a result, meat and fish are less fatty and therefore healthier. And washing the flask of an airfryer is easier than an oven and a microwave. You can't put the last two stoves in the dishwasher, and in front of the oven you also have to crawl on your knees (unless, of course, it hangs on the wall). At the same time, it is possible to cook in an airfryer traditionally in forms, pots, foil.
But I think if I had a good electric oven and microwave with all the bells and whistles, and even a multicooker, I would hardly buy an airfryer.
As I understand you, Qween, she spent so much time before deciding in favor of the airfryer, but I already wrote about this above.

Yes, here again everything rests on a high-quality oven, since it is not particularly necessary to clean it, good self-cleaning ovens, so I don't even know how to clean it especially. It cleans itself. I clean the microwave with special disposable wet wipes and since it is all stainless steel inside, it is cleaned inlet. Well, of course, you can cook in pots, foil and forms in the oven and even in the microwave. I even have one clay pot for the microwave, but I have a large pot. There is also a baking sheet for fatty foods. And a special nozzle on which you put the chicken and from it the fat flows into the pan, too.

But this is strange, because if the oven is with bells and whistles, then it should have very good thermal insulation in addition and there is practically no heat outside. At least that's how it works for me (Bosch plate). Now there are new stoves even with a non-heating outer glass of the oven.
Mueslik
Yes, nothing strange, if overboard more than forty degrees, you don't want to be friends with the oven
I have an Electrolux, the insulation is much better than in the previous oven, but it still raises the temperature in the kitchen, in the summer I use it only in the evening,
in the afternoon, we can hardly breathe without her

Today I found this Temka! ... (y) And I remembered about my airfryer. I have it about 6 years old. When I bought it I cooked only on it. They made kitchens and removed the stove. How he helped out then! : flowers: And pickles and soups, I'm silent about chicken. I smoked the fish (by the way, the shavings are really nothing, you just need to sprinkle it with cold water). And I threw out liquid smoke: it seemed very poisonous, although the girls from 7 hills say that it only needs a few drops. : - \ It was summer and almost every day pies with fresh berries (though the dough was flaky). And in the morning, pour the pots with buckwheat (poured in the evening), cut the sausage, whoever you like, pour boiling water into the grill and get ready to work, and after 25-30 minutes, I ask you to go to the table. Good thing! : nyam: Yes, and it's cool to do the blanks in it.Places 6 liter cans, now the lingonberry leaves are dry. : (And he washes himself, just rinse the bowl in the sink. I have a round, deep one, specially taking into account the grill.

Oh, girls ... I have both an electric oven with convection and a grill (Ariston), and a microwave with covection and grill (Panasonic), two multicooker, one multicooker pressure cooker, Master pilaf, contact grill, Pizza oven, and on the airfryer decided without hesitation. Actually, without all this technology, except for the oven and microwave, I lived very well before getting on this forum, but now I need everything and everything is in demand. The only thing from this that I could refuse is Master Pilaf, and that is not because of the functions of the device, but because of the quality of the teflon of the saucepan, which peeled off after the third time of use. True, now I use the oven less often. Indeed, the temperature in the kitchen rises from it. Yes, her glass does not heat up, but there is ventilation in it and hot air comes out from the back side. It does not burn the user, but it adds warmth, and in the summer this is the least desirable. And you need to preheat the oven for 20 minutes, and the airfryer 6 minutes. If you cook a lot, for some kind of holiday, then yes, definitely an oven, but for a family, the volume of an airfryer will be just right. I have not tried everything in it yet, but many things are very good. I really liked the roast in pots, although it is the same in the oven (only the heat and energy consumption in the oven is greater), chicken, wings, thighs in the airfryer are definitely better than in the oven. The kebabs are good, I didn't like the meat on the baking sheet in the airfryer, I have to turn it over. I dried the fish - great, salted it in the evening, put it on a wire rack with matches in the belly in the morning, opened the lid and turned it on for drying for 4 hours. All! In the evening there was beer with freshly dried fish, and it turned out to be almost completely dry.
Of course, you can live without an airfryer and replace it with another technique, you will not lose much, but if you buy it, you will get a nice addition to the existing technique.

You can certainly live without an airfryer.

100 percent! You can live without a kettle, without a microwave and everything else. After all, we lived not so many years ago without mobile phones, without ovens with grills and convection, they washed them on hand-spinning round washing machines (I do not remember their names) and no one died. And today you can cook dinner on a kerosene stove, and with the skillful hands of the hostess, the borscht will be no less tasty.
But that's not the point! Today I want to ease my own work and my children, try variety, find the best, if, of course, my pocket allows.

There are people in our village who abandoned their house in the village a few years ago (I don't know what was the reason) and moved to an open field, to a shed, where there is no electricity or gas. They plow the field (have a tractor), keep the farm small and LIVE ALSO!
Therefore, I believe that everyone is free to choose for himself what he still lacks in the house

The convection oven has a rotating spit. So because of the skewer, I think the oven wins.

In general, if I didn't have an airfryer, I would be tormented now too ... When I turned it on for the first time (in winter) it was very beautiful! Turns on / off ...

Queenie! I am afraid that you will have to purchase it, if only to understand that you do not need it (if there is an oven with a rotating spit) !!!

Thanks everyone for the help! If you put 2 lattices, then it does not work, the chicken rests directly on the ten with a tail, even the lid does not close.I'll try the potatoes on a low baking sheet and let the chicken fat stew the potatoes. What happens - I will report in the evening

I'm not sure whether it will fit your AG or not, it fits between the flask and the lid with the motor. In principle, AG are all the same, in S / C I saw many vyak not only Hotter
Here I read about halogen heating elements in AG, a quote from the site 🔗
Caution, "HALOGEN"!
Please note that it is not customary to install halogen heating elements (heating elements) into household appliances for cooking with a service life of more than 2 years, such as Aero grills, Grills, Ovens, microwave ovens, etc. Halogen heating elements are usually used in household heaters.

If you come across a product on sale that says "Airfryer", but instead of a metal heating element, a halogen one is installed, you should know that this technique is assembled at a factory that produces heaters, hair dryers and other appliances not related to the kitchen. Whatever the seller tells you, the life of such a device is 1-2 years. Be careful when choosing products! Oh how !!!
nut
I have already read this, but in the passport I did not find information about ten - a powerful heating element is written, I can not even find who does it, what kind of company is SMILE?
natalka
nut do not get upset ahead of time. My friends (those from whom I got infected with the desire to buy an airfryer) have the simplest SMILE. They bought it three years ago at METRO. All this time it has been working without problems and they are very happy with this unit. You just need to adapt to it. Like with a chicken: cut and unfold it like a tobacco chicken, and do not put it in its original form and everything will fit. Here at the Hairpin (in my opinion, if I don't confuse anything with her), the airfryer is generally 7 liters and nothing is enough.

I have the smallest airfryer that has been on sale in Moscow lately. True, he has a magnifying ring ... but I don’t need it in FIG. And the appearance of the airfryer spoils. I'm not going to stuff a turkey there !!!

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind next time.
And it's embarrassing because my husband wanted to make a surprise, well, and saw an advertisement on TV, etc. It turned out the price-quality is not very good. I myself usually don't buy anything until I study everything. Actually, I'm happy so far.
Lenhcik
At first glance, the question will seem crazy, but very important for me. On the DR, the husband promised to give the AG and there is one dilemma - a cover on a bracket or a removable one. The only problem is the blank. Does a 3-liter can fit in an AG with one expansion ring or two are needed. Someone do a science experiment

Lenhcik With a removable cover, the AG is not convenient, when opening you need to figure out where to put the hot cover about the rings here in detail

Today in my province I went shopping in search of AG. Well what can I say: In Technopolis Foxmart and Comfi made bulging eyes - "And what is this" (literally!). Only ABC technology is Liberton AG. And so I was thinking: to take or not to take? The option of an online store will not work - they do not want to take them to us! Question: Has anyone come across such an AG? As far as I know, the HP of this company is not very good. Although Shpilka took AG of an unknown company and nothing. Help who can !!!
Hairpin
A Hairpin in general, there is always enough that nothing. And then he thinks, this device is needed, or not.If the airfryer took root with me, I would have acquired a cool Hotter for a long time (I bought a second bread maker). Although ... 14 thousand ...

And no kidding, two options for the development of events:

1. It is of poor quality. Then there is two weeks to return. You just need to clarify in advance the possibility of returning defective goods. And for what reason it can be returned.
2. He is not defective. Just hackneyed. No bracket, one fan speed, no timer. Then the question is about the price. If it costs around 100 dallarii, then you can take it. There is a great chance that it will not take root. If it takes root, then in a year or so you can safely choose a cool Hotter, and this one to the country.
3. Well, the classics of the genre. If the oven is bad, and the microwave is without convection, it is better to take it. And if not...
Qween
yulichka, I just called ABC. She asked me to tell you about the airfryer. Liberton has 2 models. The first one is more expensive (899 UAH), because with a halogen heater it disappears immediately (this is my opinion, not the seller's).

And the second one is cheaper (799 UAH), because the heating element is metal.
It has several temperature modes, a timer, but no different rotation speeds.

In principle, for 199 additional hryvnias, you can take another 2 years of warranty, in total you get 3 years of warranty (applies to both types of AG).

It is a pity that now I do not have the opportunity to go see, touch, read the instructions. I think that for that kind of money, you can risk it.

Qween
yulichka, I decided to call Hotter in Ukraine.
They send any airfryer cash on delivery. Delivery at their expense, the client pays only for the services of Ukrposhta - 1.4%. This, on the most expensive AG, comes out 35 UAH.
sazalexter
Qween, yulichka Here is the address in Ukraine 🔗
a year of a guarantee, without a scam with an additional 2 years of a guarantee for an additional fee
yulichka
Just about, I am of the same opinion! I opted for a cheaper one (700 UAH), because to take with a halogen for 2 years - well, no matter how. I will wait until the repairs in the kitchen are over (I hope to cope in a month, tomorrow they will come to lay down the tiles). In the meantime, I can't even find a spoon at home, I eat only sandwiches and salad. So, if they do not understand, then the AG will be mine. And about a cool company, then I have HP LG - and what, it works like a beast and no nails. Of course, I want Panasonic, but as they say finances sing romances, I would have to survive the repair. And about the AG, I have a thought to give up the oven (I have autonomous heating and any excessive consumption of gas entails large payments for the utility). MV is + AG - the very thing
Qween
sazalexter , I also called there.
There I also found the phone number of their representatives in Kiev, who bring them directly home to any city for a very inexpensive (50-60) UAH.

To buy an airfryer ...
yulichka
sazalexter, about delivery to any point: we usually talk about regional cities, if the city is located away from the main state highways, then problems already arise. At our place of work (the company is located in Kiev and there are two of us working in the city), bank cards were sent for 1.5 months - they could not find a courier service (in Dnepropetrovsk, please, just where to leave it, not on the sidewalk). So, it seems to be 35 km to the regional city, but the village is a village. In addition, I am a fan of the goods to touch, lick, kiss, and already buy with a pet. And try it on the same day !!!
Lady
Hello everyone.
Curiosity tormented me, two questions haunt me -
1. Other things being equal, is the cooking time the same for halogen and traditional ones?
2. Has anyone used a Viconte airfryer? If so, what good can you say?

Dear sazalexter, thanks for the quick answer, but it is incorrect) - my question is about the speed of cooking one dish in different grills, and I am critical of advertising and anti-advertising.

Another question has ripened - where in Moscow in one store (not far from the metro) you can see different air grills? A business trip in a week, maybe I'll look after ...
