I cooked a turkey drumstick with a bone, chopped into pieces. First, fry for 10 minutes, then put it on stewing for 40 minutes. Tasty, but it could have been done in 30.
SoNika
Olga, thank you, I think 30 is enough for potatoes ...

Ol, and the bowl is not scratched? I'm aiming for something

Rita, no, I didn't get scratched - I didn't bother them, I turned them over only once to the other side.
SoNika, potatoes, I think, even more so.

Anya, I liked the bread, but I often won't bake it, I'm more used to it in KhP

Yes, I turned it over, but it's better to brown in another appliance

And today I got such a potato.

Multicooker Element FWA 01 PB El

I planned to fry in large slices, and then bring to readiness for baking. But, I had time to fry, but to finish cooking - no, I had to urgently leave, and put the potatoes on "languishing". As a result, I languished for almost 2 hours. It turned out delicious and very beautiful
Frying - 20 minutes (3 large potatoes, cut into quarters, corn oil + butter)
"Languor" - about 2 hours, I think that an hour would have been enough if not for the circumstances. Salted and pepper the potatoes, added dry thyme and a little onion. I didn't add water.
Annutka
Cvetaal, Svetik, you are all teasing, but at work I envy sweets. The potatoes are lovely!

lira3003, Rita, congratulations on the cartoon!

I put the millet this morning. porridge and fell asleep ... she stood on the heating for more than an hour (but in fillet), as a result, there is no liquid at all, but porridge is a song you can try in ale like that ...
Annutka
SoNika, but I like the standard programs for cereals, after which you can hold it on heating.

Friends, and I’m all about stew. If raw chicken thighs + raw potatoes, how long should you put it out? Or is it better to fry and add something else?

Rituslya, Rita, I would fry the thighs, add potatoes, season with spices and stew for 30 minutes.
Rita, congratulations! I could not resist, however.
Marpl
Rita, first fry the chicken, and then cook the chicken and raw potatoes together on the stew. It will be tastier this way.
Rituslya
Not, Crap, in fact, the multicooker is beautiful and the box is great! I usually ship boxes for kindling to my mother in the village, but here I feel sorry even. Cleverly done.
I will not write anything about the cartoon yet, I have not figured it out yet.
Oh, Svetul, but I honestly resisted for a long time.
But the reviews about stew and meat were gnawing at me from the inside out.

Devoulya, and take a lot of potatoes? I can't figure it out yet.
Now I’ll prepare one thread, and then it will be easier.

Dear owners of this wonderful pot! Did he immediately start talking or do you need settings? Mine is silent, like a partisan!

Mine immediately spoke. But the manual says how to adjust the volume -
1, Press and hold the CANCEL button for 3 seconds.
2, adjust the volume from 0 to 4 with the + and - buttons

Oh, okay.

Virineyushka, what secret?! No secrets.
I bought it on the Player for 5996 rubles. with delivery. Yesterday I ordered it, and today they brought it.
To be honest, I read so little good about this store, but I took a chance, because the fastest delivery was.
And I, you see, was thoroughly hot, because there was no strength to wait.

Marpl
Can I change the battery to a new one?
Rituslya
Devuli, generally cool. Yes.
I just did not understand, is it a slow cooker or a pressure cooker?
Judging by the cooking speed, so the pressure cooker.
But there is no induction pressure cooker. Or does it happen?
It's just that I've never had anything like it.
Marusya
Rituslya, Ritul, congratulations! Well done for discarding my "meenenade!"
You will see how nada! Elementic smart girl! I already love him dearly I have no doubt that he will be a good helper for you

Ritul, congratulations on your first test! I am very glad that you like Elementic! For me it is still the best)), of course, I will continue to cook the broth in a 6-liter Steba, because I always need a lot of broth, but I want to cook everything else only in it

In the topic of choosing a multicooker Gibus written that Element is a multicooker with a pressure cooking function. And she wrote there a lot of interesting and useful things about our Elementic. I highly recommend finding and reviewing. Maybe someone can copy the quote here? I can't ... I'm on the phone.

She also wrote (there? Or here? ... I'm a little confused ...) that you can bake on the Chef with the valve removed. This is to prevent pressure build-up during baking.
The valve in the element is unscrewed.

Annutka, Anyut, so far nothing special. I found a fillet of thighs, fried it, then an onion on the same fry and potatoes there on this mode. Oh ..., I also added a couple of tablespoons of sour cream. I was afraid that it would be dry. Completed and dragged to Raga.
Delicious. The potato is soft, but it keeps its shape. The thighs are elastic.

Marusya , Marusik, thank you, my dear! I think, too, that it will not disappoint. Baking would have to be fought, but otherwise everything is great. Interesting. Right now, I’ll put everything into a tray, wash the bowl and think for tomorrow.

Here is what Shapoklyak writes about the Element:
"About the Element ... I guess the hype started solely because of the sharp price drop
As a longtime user of the cuckoo (Cuckoo-1055), can I give you my opinion on this kind of device?
I'll make a reservation right away, the element is simpler than a cuckoo, it has fewer modes, but the principle of operation is the same.

Strictly speaking, Korean multi with solenoid valve: Cuckoo, Bork, Element, are not pressure cookers. Manufacturers themselves in the operating instructions call them - "multicooker with pressure cooking function".
They are made on the basis of Korean induction rice cookers and the pressure there was originally used to steam rice, and not to speed up the cooking of soup. Therefore, the technology is different: they need to close the valve for a strictly defined time, steam the rice, and then release this steam quite quickly. For this, the solenoid valve is used - the cartoon controls it independently.
And then the Koreans began to add modes for cooking other dishes to the rice programs and adapt the existing design for them. But physics has not been canceled - the forced release of pressure causes a sharp boiling and splashing of liquid ... Therefore, only 95 * C is laid on the Soup, we actually languish it with a slight excess pressure and do not gain anything much in time. It's the same story with milk porridge.
By the way, if you go to the Cuckoo home site, you can see induction models similar to ours in the Rice Cooker and Multicooker sections, and next to it there will be a section called Pressure Cooker, and there are pictures with typical pressure cookers for us with a mechanical valve of the Shteba type (only regular round shape). That is, they themselves divide these devices into different categories.
So it makes no sense to compare Shteba and Element, they are different devices.
Element and Kuku are cooked slowly but quickly fried and steamed.
Now, about the benefits:
- first of all, rice because this is their main purpose,
- meat of a slightly different taste,
- the ability to very quickly fry something (induction heats up in seconds) and for 10-15 minutes under high pressure. It's really fast, she will relieve pressure 3 minutes before the end.
- fry and steam under pressure at the same time without adding a drop of water to the bowl.
In Shteba, this is impossible - the float simply will not rise until there is sufficiently strong steam generation, but here the magnet will forcibly close the valve immediately and the product will be fried and steamed with its own emitted steam, gradually gaining pressure, and then the sensor program will turn off, preventing burning. I do this in Cuckoo-1055 using Rice and Buckwheat programs. But, in the Element, it seems, there are no boil-off programs - this is a minus. You will have to choose the time yourself.
- in the bowl with a pot, crumbly and all sorts of finely chopped dishes are better obtained, I do not poke around in the bowl with a silicone spatula when Frying, but simply take out the bowl by the handles and shake it with turning. It's more comfortable for me and the bowl is less scratched. Yes, and the chicken fits snugly in the pot. I cook it on Fry or Pastry, without pressure, it tastes better for me.
By the way, the induction bowl itself warms up more evenly - equally from the bottom to the very top, which is good for languishing different dishes or roasting meat in a large piece, and the pilaf is good.
For baking cakes, frying cutlets, yogurt in jars, the shape of the bowl is not very - the bottom area is too small.

Well, the individual taste preferences of people are different, I now hate the stewed aftertaste of potatoes and milk porridge cooked under high pressure. Therefore, I am not very upset that soups and liquid cereals in cakes are boiled at low temperatures.
But, at the same time, I will put beets or fish on steam to cook only in a mechanical pressure cooker, and until it unlocks, I will not open so that there is no smell around the house ..
At the moment, such a symbiosis of technology has developed in my kitchen - they constantly live on the work surface: an induction cuckoo (Cuckoo 1055) for daily daily cooking, a redmond-381 pressure cooker with a mechanical valve and manual temperature setting
Quote: Gibus on Jan 23. 2018, 16:54
for certain operations: yogurt, steaming (because there is absolutely no steam and smell in the apartment), sous-vide, jellied meat, beans, vegetable preparations.
and 2 small ones (Redmond-01 and Philips 3060) for overnight cooking on the postponement of 2 different cereals, and all sorts of small needs.
They also stand in plain sight: a bread maker, an espresso machine, a microwave combi, an air fryer and an old Brown food processor. Everything else is crammed into the closets. "

Here's another: "I would have missed some features in it, for example, the ability to turn off the pressure on the Multipovar."
There are a few more answers from Shapoklyak. Read it. Very interesting and informative. For me, anyway.
