And I, too, when Toko bought AG, I grabbed everything, I even bought sawdust for smoking, and they are lying somewhere in the pantry. Then I bought a cartoon and now I create there, but I don’t forget about AG, of course. Often meat or fish is made in the AG, and the garnish is in the mult. Such a good tandem came out.

Girls, the May holidays are long - let's play it!

If there is not enough meat and fish - crackers are also great! I hooked everyone on them!
fronya40
I cooked these crackers every day, ate them with everything, cooked bread crumbs, they then disappeared, but how proud I was of myself! Now she reminded me, Natasha, I’ll go and remind myself!
Vitaok
Tell us more about the croutons.
Grypana
about crackers - you can have crackers, you can have crackers. If crackers - then just slices of bread, slices of rolls on the wire rack. I have it too. And if croutons - I cut cubes from any bread, sprinkle with herbs (even frozen dill went into business), spices, I also love the seasoning "Kamis" dried tomatoes ", a little bit! I sprinkle it with butter. 20 minutes at 200 degrees. Stir. I used to cook in the oven or microwave. Now in AG

When I bought AG, I wildly "caught fire" with sawdust ... but I could not find it .. now how "it cooled down" ... sawdust at every step come across .... .. literally today I stood for 3 minutes and thought ... Do I need them ... ... the price is ridiculous - 27 RE per package ... I didn’t take it ... I thought it would be lying around anyway ...
Grypana
I already bought ... but smoked fish without sawdust. Only spices and a brush smeared the mackerel with liquid smoke. It turned out delicious. And now forcibly I'll try with sawdust for May.

And my husband and I decided to make a real smoke from sawdust. I gave a link not very long ago, as one craftsman smokes like that. In short, he twists such a cigar from foil and sawdust, makes a hole with a toothpick or a skewer, sticks it under the lid into the slot to the heating element. In general, it smokes not childishly (within the AH, until you open it, naturally.) The taste and smell of meat is like on a fire. In this case, liquid smoke is not used, and I am just afraid of it. I am also afraid of this method. Let's stand ready to stand with fire extinguishers.
And I have a heating element, and if there is a lamp, then I would not risk it, suddenly she ditches from this case.
Grypana
Tanya-Mona, I read about this method.
As for liquid smoke, I think so - we can check the purchased smoked meats for the presence of smoke, we cannot in any way dye. Just take the seller's word for it. I would rather anoint a little myself and be sure that "almost did not harm." I try not to get carried away with smoked meats, but here I need to try to do it myself. Then I bought Liquid Smoke - Bonfire. Nowhere on the label is it written about the composition and presence of E. Okay, a publicity stunt, again - I smeared it completely without fanaticism, so that it was remotely similar.

I found a more interesting way of smoking - rice, sugar, tea. You will need to read, and maybe try.

And just a couple of days ago I watched on TV, as two cooks were making lula kebab from minced turkey in a frying pan. Then they put the finished 2 cradles on a plate, took a dry sprig of rosemary, set it on fire and immediately extinguished it and put it on top of the cutlets steaming on top and quickly covered it with a salad bowl turned upside down so that the smoke would not come out. For a few minutes. Then they ate and said that it tasted exactly like on a fire.

I came to cry. There was a barely noticeable defect on the flask, the AG was purchased under NG 2011-2012. Apparently, heating / cooling caused the development of a defect into a crack, today, after taking out the flask from the dishwasher, I noticed that the crack went deeper - this can be seen as a dark spot in the photo

Well, don’t cry, please, can buy a flask or someone will give you a thread. There are also those who do not like aerogrills. What if ... just do not despair and do not be upset Convection oven: model selection, advice, reviews (2)

Masha, use it as long as possible, and then I would advise you to buy not a flask, but a saucepan of a suitable size and shape. So that the upper edge was a step, as in a flask and the AG lid sat firmly on it. Of course, it will not be transparent from the sides, but it will not crack.
Vichka
I broke the flask myself, and it's not the first week, I've been cooking in it almost every day and nothing has happened yet. Chipped off the top edge and a crack went along the entire height of the bowl.

I wonder how they then wash the clay pot? The clay is porous, it absorbs everything like a sponge, and you can't use detergents because of the same. Better all and more practical is a regular pan, stainless steel, not enameled.
As for smoking, I also had an idea to pour the sawdust onto the steamer, and close it on top with a second steamer. I even bought this second one sometime, but I still can't try it. And put this structure on the upper grate so that the hot air does not blow directly on it, but meat or fish is on the lower grate. In general, ideally, put not on the top sawdust, but as in this video - pressed against the lid. Only here is a plate screwed on with bolts. We need to think about how to raise my steamers more.

1 year warranty (ended), 3 years service life.
Grypana, thanks for the support, I was so upset about this flask ... the law of conservation works in my kitchen: I buy a new device, after 1-2 days the old one breaks down. The day before yesterday I bought a juicer ... Before that there was a pancake maker and a steam cleaner, a router and a hard drive in my computer died, I brought a used waffle iron, a kettle broke (I already fixed it with my own means).
The video is awesome! Grill for pumping! I especially liked the twigs, "screwed" from the bottom.

Mona1 Let me give you How I myself did not guess! My ikeevskaya 10l pan has been homeless for the second year (since the stove was gone), I store sugar in it. It is slightly smaller, by 1-1.5 cm, but I will make an adapter, and a large frying pan with rather high sides fit perfectly!

Tanya, I think they don’t wash the pot. Well this is a smokehouse. The more smoke the better! And you can buy another pot.

By the way, I read that 12 liter airfryer flasks are suitable for all AGs. Can be purchased at service centers. But I looked at the prices - more expensive than the AG!
Oca
In extreme cases, I will buy a new AG at a sale for 700-900r. Thank you for your support This is the only device for chicken, cutlets, mushrooms, potatoes ...

It's great that the pan in volume is almost like AG, but with an adapter it can be that much. But the frying pan will probably not work, there will be little space for air and the AG will probably overheat. Better not to take risks, so that you can not ruin the AG.

Oca Masha, don't dance. The bowl is not expensive, chtol 650 rubles. Here I have two pans with one roof now. Roofs are not sold separately.

For 950 rubles to buy glass pans - it's easier to take another AG - the top will be in stock, and it takes up much less space than a glass bandura.

Girls, maybe someone will come in handy. Today I washed the airfryer and, I don’t know by what miracle, but I decided to rub the grate that covers the heating element with baby wipes. The carbon is rubbed off, and without much effort. Then I moistened a paper towel in water, wiped it, then with a clean cotton towel. Shines, in short.

Tan, I rub everything with them too, and for a long time. But the fact that the "radiator" is fat and burnt (I grilled a duck and a healthy piece of bacon in one day) will pull - I was surprised.

We still need to find out which napkins are the most vigorous. I still have Johnsons baby in my favorites, and I buy the cheapest of any. It's just that the patients forgot the Johnsons at last, and I checked them ..

I have these that the Russian "AURA family" washed the grill. By the way, I cut my finger slightly, and wiped it with this napkin, so the cut was covered with white bubbles, as if from peroxide.

Girls, today for the first time I brewed apple-tangerine-orange-lemon jam in AG. It turned out just a dump head!
It pushed me towards him Lyuba (Prus - 2) , here she described in detail:
Convection oven: model selection, advice, reviews (2)
But I'll just share my observations of the work of the AG. First, I put the thermometer on the wire rack to check the temperature. As a result, the temperature after 15 minutes was 110 degrees, while the AG was periodically turned off, reaching, in his opinion, 200 degrees, to which it was exposed. I turned the regulator by 250 degrees and after half an hour I found that the thermometer was 160 degrees, not 250. It was boiling violently in the jars, I returned the regulator to 200-210 and after 10 minutes the thermometer showed the following picture:
Convection oven: model selection, advice, reviews (2)
Now about the timer. I put it on 60 minutes, but since I already had big doubts about its correct operation, I simultaneously set 60 minutes on the timer of my stove (the timer is accurate there). As a result, the timer tinkled on the stove, and only half an hour passed on the AG timer. ... I waited another 10 minutes and turned off the AG.

Perhaps the timer has become dusty from time to time, dust has got into the cracks and it slows down when scrolling, I don't know how to pull it out and clean it, and in general, is it possible.
But despite the fact that such a temperature and a timer, the jam turned out to be just great, but I would have added a lemon or a little less sugar.
And grilled chicken at 220 degrees for 20 minutes on one side and 15 minutes on the other, it roasts very well, and if 250, then finally until it crunches. So I don't know what my thermometer measurements mean (by the way, the thermometer is good), but I really like my AG. And I can set the timer on the stove, if necessary.
Thank you Lube (Prus - 2) for a wonderful recipe. Now, we must finally start to master other preservation in the AG)
Grypana
Mona, victory over jam! Cool idea! Probably it turned out delicious

I haven’t figured out the timers-temperatures either. I liked your idea of rechecking on another timer. Will need to practice.
Now I was preparing fish stuffed with dill. Typically 30 minutes in the oven. I put it in the AG for 30 minutes, thinking that I would cook earlier. But no, I had to add another 10 minutes and open the foil. And after your experiment with the timer, I think I need to check the time.
Grypana
So, here is my fish (they caught what they caught, this time there was a silver carp, but carp, pike, crucian carp are perfect)

Convection oven: model selection, advice, reviews (2)

the recipe is simple: stuff the belly with dill + a clove of garlic on a crush + mayonnaise. The fish was slightly salted, pepper, wrapped in foil. After 30 minutes, open the foil pocket and let it brown open for another 10 minutes. 200 degrees, 40 minutes.
