So I don't get to whip up such a foam that would put a cap on my finger ........... Why?

As a punishment in childhood, I perceived the word biscuit. This meant an hour of waving a whisk. Now I also work with a mixer for about 15 minutes. I tried to beat the yolks with sugar separately (just to cream), and the whites separately, whites for 3-5 minutes. in the freezer, and then in the "standing" foam whipping for 3 minutes. But it seemed to me that the biscuit did not rise so well, maybe I ineptly introduced proteins into the dough, maybe something else. Next time I'll try to whisk separately (5 times faster) and bake in DEX - I'll see how it rises.

Girls, no matter how much I tried to bake a biscuit in SV, I have never had it as lush there as in MV. In SV I baked not only a biscuit, but also a cheesecake Fair and Omeline Srimatti, still not what happens in MV. For baking better than MV you can imagine. So, I only bake in MV. IMHO.

Although, what am I talking about
Every man to his own taste!
Someone likes a dry, tall sponge cake, someone is denser, someone loves an airy cottage cheese casserole like a soufflé, I prefer a dense one. Even some Easter cakes like airy and "perforated", and I like the cake, thick, oily, in layers

Juli31 I only expressed my opinion. I do not force anyone to bake in the MV. Pressure cooker pressure cooker strife, dex-40 has no function bakery products... Although other pressure cookers have such a function.
But all the same, I adore my Dexica even without a function bakery products.
Lozja
I also wanted to write not to put all the pressure cookers in one row. If there is a separate program Baking in the pressure cooker, then the temperature there, as a rule, is adjusted to the baking, and not like in our SV - it will simply grill everything without pressure with the same temperature - that is frying, that is baking, that is just cooking at normal pressure. I tried to bake a biscuit in SV - it worked out fine if I didn't have MV, but not as fluffy and airy as in MV, and drier than in MV.
I also tried cottage cheese casserole - here I have seams in both devices, because my cartoon also too much greaves as for tender casseroles, that is, in both devices it simply falls after cooking. And if in the cartoon at least the bottom is normal, then in the CB it gets too hot, despite the paper. A bit dark, in general.
But rolls are normal to bake in SV. So they need more temperature, so our SV is just suitable for yeast baked goods. All sorts of wet cakes like Srimati are also great, in a cartoon every other time, and in SV - always excellent.
Therefore, in SV I bake rolls, Srimati, white bread, loaves, and the rest - in MV.

:) Natasha, in the next post I expanded my answer about: how many people, so many opinions
Do not take it as "a stone in your garden"
It is rather an encouragement for those who have only SV so far.

And I will cheer you up - if only CB is available, then it is quite possible to be content with baking in it. It's better than nothing. But if you are just looking for a unit, and you want to bake different pastries in CB, then you need to choose CB with a separate Baking program, plus read reviews of how this CB bakes all sorts of tender casseroles and biscuits.

Well, in this regard, I have a cool oven, but the biscuit in the SV did not make me nervous at all, neither with uneven sides, nor ... in general, did not make

I study the forum and try recipes, I found Wichku with which she agrees on many taste preferences, here she, the owner of several MV and SV, prefers curd casserole and biscuit in SV on the "rice" prog, and not "baked goods". But it's all a matter of taste, no doubt!

Hello. Take in the ranks of the owners of such a sweetheart, of course, I am still waiting for a meeting with this stranger until Monday, but I hope we will become friends. Girls, please tell me there are separate recipes for DEX DPC-40 or you need to look in Temko. I have not yet mastered the whole topic, I mostly read from the end, so I think someone can direct to what recipe for the first test of this miracle technique.

In a pressure cooker, baked goods are just as good, maybe even better! And baked biscuits and cheesecake. There is also baking without pressure, the same multicooker
Olya, although I had SV with pastries, for example, I like baking in MV more. And I do not understand dancing with tambourines at all if there is no native baking function in CB or the same MV. If you take the technique in the form of CB or MV, then knowing that you will bake there, I would take a current with such a function. My son over there had Perfeza MV, where he baked con in it, but after a while he asked for another one with baking function. They say they are tired of dancing with tambourines.

I agree that you need to have the right programs in order not to play. I bought a Scarlett-410 for my son, and now I have to buy another one, he will marry soon. I would like to have baked goods.
Take DEX 60 right away. Although mine did not marry, I am very pleased with DEX. He gets high, and before that he had Perfeza, he also liked it. Toka there, baked goods were made on crispy rice.
And leave Scarlett, I bought it for my brother and was very pleased with it. He didn't need pastries there. But your son's kids will go, your wife will cook porridge there in Scarlet.

Welcome!
Before buying, I also read the forum, but all of it. So I took all the recipes in this thread into a word-file, so as not to dig later. very useful and learned a lot of useful things. And I also take recipes in the Brand 6050 section, maybe the name of the modes is different, but the time is the basis of CB, the rest is not important. And just like any other SV-ki - recipes are suitable!
And besides, the girls here are very responsive, ask!

The very first course she made a vegetable stew with pork, she slightly fried onions, carrots, pork, then laid everything else and 20 minutes. on VD, (but already now I would put it for 10-12 minutes). I poured water, but it was liquid, so if there are tomatoes or zucchini in the stew, you can not pour it at all. Then I cooked the mashed potatoes in quarters in 2 cm of water (I didn't even cover the potatoes) for 5 minutes, the valve on the high pressure. And I can also drop the file on the e-mail where I "stole" the recipes from this Temka

I got my pressure cooker outwardly very nothing and then we will get to know each other. Tell me I want to cook pea soup, can someone tell me how to do it correctly in stages.
Julia V
It depends on what kind of peas you like. If boiled at all, then it is better to cook the pea puree in advance, then add potatoes, meat, fry and cook for about 20 minutes, and if you like the pieces of peas to float, then immediately throw everything together and cook for 30-40 minutes (you do the frying first thing and then add other ingredients)
Talamea
Just do not release the pressure at the end of cooking - let it fall by itself, otherwise the peas are foaming and may leak through the valve. Not scary, but unpleasant.
Irina1607

But the timer was still standing all the time. As a result, I turned off the pressure cooker on its own after 20 minutes, let off the steam. The vegetables were cooked, but as far as I understand, it should have turned off by itself? And the indicator Working pressure and did not light up. Explain, please, can I do something wrong? And write the instructions step by step. And if someone has it in electronic form, I will be very grateful if you share)

I haven’t bought a pressure cooker yet, but I would venture to answer, if your heating started and steam came out, then you installed the HP lever incorrectly or it’s buggy, and the timer seems to work only at high pressure.

cooked 2 more dishes. same. they are cooked, delicious, but the timer does not move ... heating goes on and after 15 minutes steam begins to pour. I turn it off at random, until I get ready. And what is the inner lid (not a steamer))) and under the lid itself is teleported))? I only have an ordinary lid ... Under it some kind of contraption teleports into a hole. She is wearing an elastic band, which constantly falls off ... In general, it's hard for me without instructions (
Julia V
This thing is the inner lid. Either you don’t dress it correctly and the pressure is not gained, or it’s a marriage. After all, even during baking (when the pressure is not accumulated), the countdown goes on and the timer moves. It's strange somehow, maybe they slipped you a marriage, especially without instructions. Until another 2 years have passed, change to a new one.

put on back, and so that the elastic is well dressed. When what is inside boils, steam starts to flow, after about 30 seconds the valve will be blocked, and there will be alternating operating pressure and pressure, and the timer will rotate depending on how much time has passed. If, after cooking, the pressure is released by itself, then it does not soar much.

hmm. Well, the timer still remains where I put it ... although when I left the timer at zero, it automatically switched to heating after the start. in general, it is necessary to return, so I think.

I also wanted to write that it looks like they forgot to put on the O-ring. There would be nowhere to throw a couple if it was dressed. Therefore, the timer does not move either. It's like cooking without a lid - the countdown won't go, as it shouldn't .. Check it out, maybe it wasn't given to you, like the instructions?

By the way, girls, I want to share my joy: I have pilaf turned out! In the morning, when heated, it remained the same soft and tasty! I cooked for 12 minutes on VD, then I got distracted and did not touch him until the pressure cooker herself released the pressure. It turns out that he steamed for a long time, but he came out exactly as he wanted - and crumbly and soft. In general, according to Pokhlebkin, pilaf should be cooked on the stove for 12 minutes, turned off and left to steam for 12 minutes, wrapping the pan with towels, so I always got it cooked and crumbly. It turns out, and in a pressure cooker without steaming - no way

And in DEX, well, just at least for an exhibition (yes, I didn't think of taking a picture, they ate it all up, did a little for the "test of the pen")
In general, now in our menu pilaf will be more often, thanks to Dexon

Congratulations))) Yes, you will not interfere with Dex, you will not see or even smell before the time)))
And now cooking for a child with the help of dex has become extremely simple)) For example, I take frozen sea fish fillets, break off a piece, peel 1 potatoes, cut them into 4 pieces and put them on a double boiler. A minimum of water, it boils while I peel the potatoes. VD 6 minutes, fish fillet (~ 1cm thick) has time to defrost and cook)) I take it out, mashed potatoes in a plate and with boiled fish - I give it to the baby. Tasty, fast and healthy))

Girls, tell me who has a multicooker and a Dex pressure cooker: do they have the same quality and coating pots? Or the pressure cooker is different. Because I reviewed all the accessories on Tao and did not find such a saucepan as a Dexik in a 4-liter multicooker in 5 liter bowls. In a pressure cooker, the quality of the pan is slightly worse, in a 60-ke just unkillable
