People! Help! ... I have not found what the ratio of rice to water should be ...
The usual ratio is one to two. And in principle, as before, cook it.
ZagAl
The cooking time depends on the amount of ingredients, so check the cooking process the first time. And then, when you decide on your proportions and the corresponding time, you can switch to the automatic machine.
Sashel
I read in the topic that pilaf should be cooked in the "cereal" mode. I did it in "pilaf" mode. It turned out great. But I think I overdid it a little. Or maybe just rice like that.
ZagAl
Sashel, with a start! For some reason I immediately thought that you were doing pilaf (I don't know why). The Pilaf mode appeared in the 2013 cartoons, and it did not exist before.
For the future, the whole process is very well described 0791 here:

I also tried to cook pilaf on the Krupa mode. I cooked and wondered: why if there is a Plov mode? I cooked it first on Krupa and then on Plov. It turned out perfect on Plov, on Krupa it was not enough
Irina.A
Good evening, the earlier model does not have a pilaf mode, but only cereals, and it turns out well. And the ratio of rice to water can be taken 1 to 1.5, I do this and everything is boiled well. Today I prepared bird nests with stuffed chicken minced meat with filling and baked cheese, I liked it, it turned out delicious. And I wanted to try after watching Tatiana's video.

I do on the program Groats, then what I don't have Pilafa. My model was just a year old. It always seems that both the pilaf and the side dish are good. So, girls and boys, who has a new Fields, you have different programs for pilaf and just rice.
Sashel
Now I made buckwheat with chicken. The ratio of water is 1 to 2. It turned out perfect. I've never done this just in a saucepan.
And the duck cabbage soup with sauerkraut turned out to be delicious!
P.S. How happy I am with my beauty

Somewhere in Temko the words "Crust mode" came across. I do not have that. Can someone clarify what it was about?

It was the first cartoons that had such a regime.
Now instead of him Plov!

Well, your Temka has grown, I haven’t visited for 1000 years. Now how many pages have come across - everywhere about the coating of the bowls, but I still do not understand - what to take instead of the ceramic one from the old MV (which is without "pilaf")? You may have decided something somewhere, but I didn't get it. I have not used it for almost a long time, I bought Shteba. But Polaris still needs to be reanimated - delicate frying on a multi-cooker is always needed.
Irishka CH
| Alexandra |, I bought a PIP 0501 bowl.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0517AD (reviews) It has a non-stick coating. Baking is no longer a problem! And the frying too. Fits great. There are also in Technosila, and in M-video, and in online stores.
The girls also ordered NEC bowls. There, of course, super-duper, but more expensive.
| Alexandra |
So, somewhere in the middle, I read that NEC coatings restored are very bad, and the bowls of their production are of good quality?
| Alexandra |
Looked at 0501 - in Yulmart they are now at 890. Do they really have brand coverage? And how much does the NEC cost?

about brand-non-brand, I can't say, there was some kind of label.
BUT I can attest to a very good quality on the fact of my active use throughout 2013 (I bought it - 0501 - at the end of January 2013).And I fry often, and like this (see under the spoiler) I bake the bowl does not burn

There is also such a gadget so that the cartoon does not constantly pull from the outlet (I bought 480 rubles)

Does this bowl exactly fit the Polaris 0517? On Yulmart in the list of models there are only models 0506, 0508, 0512 for this bowl.
I bought a stainless steel bowl for 0517 for Redmond RIP S2. Very well suited, like a dear. Now I cook yoghurts and ham in a ham maker in it, so as not to injure the ceramics.
Loya
I use a cup from Redmond even more often than my "relatives".

Yulmart may well be mistaken. As well as in any store - they usually confuse everything there ... It is necessary to find out in Polaris.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Santa Claus brought me this slow cooker under the Christmas tree !!!! And this is my question: when cooking borscht, how do we lay beets? I used to extinguish it on the stove and add a little vinegar. and now how? and what happens to your color? Is borsch losing its dark color? what is yours? red just? Or for example, after the end of cooking, you can add just raw, slightly grated beets?
Fragolina
Good day to all. I look closely at the multicooker. I liked this Polaris 0517 because the kuma has and saw her a couple of times at work. I have such a question for experienced users of this unit. Is it possible to stand the dough for bread, pies, etc. in it. If so, what program and temperature? Thank you
Mar_k
Muscovite, Tatiana, I congratulate you on your assistant, let him please you for a long time and delicious dishes!

About borscht: you can cook as you are used to. Or you can 'throw' everything into a saucepan and leave, she will cook herself. The only thing that the beets retain their color is better to cook on Stew, a more gentle program, not as intense as soup. I cook all the soups this way, put them on for 1 hour.

Dough any dough on the program Multipovar 40 gr.

Girls, I did it - I put the meat in the marinade in a bowl from the Shteba (stainless steel), the stewing program, and soon the MV went on heating, with a pungent smell of burnt wiring ... I immediately turned it off, removed the bowl, it turned out that the heating disc was terribly hot. What do you think is because of a non-native bowl? And before Shteba, I wanted to buy a stainless steel Redmond bowl for Polaris.
| Alexandra |
And the repair is expensive, nobody knows? What could burn out there ???

The bowl from the Shteba is small in height, it does not fall due to the fact that the rim interferes, is thick !!! So there was a strong overheating! And the 4502 radish bowl fits - I declare this to you with full responsibility!

Is it red hot?
First, let it cool and try turning it on with your own bowl. If it works - well, if not, then the overheating protection most likely worked (It is located in the aluminum button, the one in the middle of the heating element. There are a temperature sensor (yellow wires) and an overheating protection sensor - I don't know what is called correctly (red wires)) ... If the husband is with hands, then he can cope with the repair himself.
| Alexandra |
No, not red-hot, but it was very hot and took a long time. The husband generally has his hands and the relative is with his hands using household appliances. Could it be because the bowl was preheated to a boil in the Stebe before that?

Exactly! Probably it does not reach the bottom ... And now, at least you can make out yourself? Or go straight to the service?

I am setting the bread dough on the yogurt program. I measured the temperature at the 1st hour in this mode - I got a reading of 38 degrees twice. And even so it is calmer if something does not go into heating.
| Alexandra |
All the same, there is no guarantee anymore, because you can first look for yourself, and then go to the center, right? It's just that if it's really bad there, maybe I won't repair it, all the same, the bowl has completely lost its non-stick properties and has two points of cleavage of the coating. Although I would like to fry cutlets on it, and sometimes bake.

If there is no guarantee, then it is better at home !!! Moreover, there are necessary hands - God himself ordered! And then you hand over to the service, you can fray your nerves. I handed over my warranty so Redik, and received it after 2 months, and then after a mutual hassle!

Thank you too, but which one? So it could have blown out a fuse that is used in other devices and can be bought somewhere?

Today I looked in okay - a share for Polaris, with 8 programs costs 1790, from 10 - 1990. But the second one has a coating like XILAN and the name of the manufacturer. And like a multi-cook for both.

Alexandra, come on, get upset. All this is nonsense !!!
You never know what happens in life. Here, my child dropped an iPhone for 30 thousand into the toilet bowl, so I almost nailed him. Thank God my mother was there))
So go to the evening !! And there will be a thousand more multi-cookers, especially since there are already many advanced polaris)) and the bowls are better made!

Damn, I stopped receiving notifications from this topic. And here is the news!
| Alexandra |, Sasha, I'm so sorry that the problems turned out! And this cup 0501 is good !!! It doesn't matter what is written on the box. It fits perfectly to our Field. And fries and bakes !!! And Xylan cover.

In Stebik's theme Yes, I have the same story with Panasonic, I inserted a smaller bowl and it burned out ... I didn't understand it myself, but dad said that there was nothing complicated there, I think that this fuse is the same for all multicooker

And now I have found Nii Girikond, which produces these thermistors.

Girls, and how long does Polaris cook milk porridge?
AglayaN
Hello! I'm in a hurry to join the Polaris multicooker owners club! In the New Year, I became the owner of this device, now I'm testing it.Moskvichk @, just today I cooked borsch, so I hasten to share my first experience. In general, the borscht was cooked for about 1.5 hours in frying mode with different temperatures. Well, for some reason, it seemed to me more convenient. As I already understood, the cooking technology in MV is different from the cooking technology on the stove. If we first cook the broth on the stove, then here the opposite is true. I cooked like this:
1) set the Frying mode T-140 degrees for 35 minutes. Warmed up and squeaked, melted the fat (poured butter), threw in finely chopped pork meat (about 300g). Fried with the lid closed (I didn't need fried meat, rather stew).
2) 1 large onion, 1 large carrot, 1 medium beet-chopped-grated and after 15 minutes thrown into the MV. Fried again with the lid closed, interfered a couple of times. Now you can add salt. The beauty is unreal, sorry I didn't take pictures!
3) Now add tomato paste and some water. Minutes 5 carcass. With the lid closed, of course.
4) Now I put the frying at 110 degrees and 1 hour in time (it even works with a margin). I put potatoes and pour boiling water to the top (up to the top division). I cook for 35 minutes.
5) And only when the potatoes are boiled, I throw cabbage and chopped garlic, bay leaf. If necessary, add salt. I cook for 10 minutes on a fry and only because the cabbage is already under the stump itself, there are hard places. This I mean, well, you can't throw cabbage together with potatoes - it should not boil down into snot, but should be elastic, but not crispy.
The color of the borscht can be stunned and rich and beautiful. Beets do not turn pale at all. Well, that's just the perfect borscht!
Wrote a lot-cook quickly. And no unnecessary splashes and dirty frying pan!
I signed it so impressed, so do not blame me, if not the topic.
Mar_k
Natalia, congratulations on your assistant! And why was it cooked on the Fry, could it have been put on Stewing, a more gentle program, after boiling, 90 gr or Soup is maintained there?
AglayaN
Marina, thank you! I cooked it on the fry, because I am still experimenting. I could have tried it with the same success on a multi-brew. I have not experienced extinguishing yet. Really, it was necessary to cook quickly, well, I really wanted to eat) But I already had time to try the soup, I didn't like it. For an hour in this mode, the potatoes remained raw. Dovarya on Multipovar.
qwer74
Tell me what do the blue and yellow dots near the saucepan on the MV display mean when cooking?
AglayaN
Multi-colored dots are the degree of heating of the MV. I understand so. There are also red ones (this is already boiling).
laridanna
there are no dots in our models .. at first we have a "snake" -heating, and then the cooking process itself comes from the "saucepan" ... when the program ends and goes into heating, we just have a "saucepan" ...
AglayaN
I have a model MV 09.2013g release - there are points, but there is no snake (instead of it, just a timer). A saucepan with steam is present.
