Carrot and cheese sandwiches

Ingredients

raw carrots 400 g
processed cheese (I had "Amber") 150 g
garlic taste
parsley
salt, ground pepper taste
butter

Cooking method

  • Grated the carrots on a fine grater, added cheese, crushed garlic, salt, pepper and beat with a mixer to obtain a homogeneous mass.
  • I spread butter on the bread with a thin layer so that it does not get soaked from the carrot juice. Put the mass on top and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.

Note

Delicious sandwich. Often I cook, and even on holidays, only with small sandwiches.

Medusa
Was the cheese also shredded on a grater?
They forgot to mention parsley in the recipe, but you have it, judging by the photo, with a powerful and uncrushed layer of interstitial space under your "anointed"!
yara
Yes, it is really delicious !!!
mka
Medusa, read about parsley carefully, you are our critic
Cheese, it is written, added, without rubbing, whipped immediately with a lot of carrot.

yara , Thank you.

I'm not guilty! (from)
"I put the mass on top and sprinkled with finely chopped parsley."
That is, it must be understood that first a mass was put on bread and butter, and then sprinkled with parsley.
In the photo, it looks as if first a layer of coarsely chopped parsley was put, and a mass was laid out on top of it.
Or is the parsley just sprinkled around the edges?
Then, sorry!
Sprinkled as if on a stencil.
And how did you manage beat with a mixer (?) processed cheese like "Amber" !? Maybe a blender? Or having previously crumbled the cheese into small pieces with a knife, and using a special attachment on a mixer such as a blender?
mka
The order of forming a sandwich:
bread, butter, carrot-cheese mass (with additives), parsley on top.

With a mixer, carrots with "amber" beat perfectly. I have a powerful mixer, professional. And the cheese is soft. You don’t cut it in pieces, but spread it, if for a sandwich. Can be whipped in a food processor with a knife. I don’t cut the cheese into pieces.

after cutting the cheese into small pieces with a knife

Probably Medusa found the melted cheese "Amber" as a hard piece, like "Holland".
Feofania
just super! not difficult, but original!

Why look for him ?! In my store it is exactly the same as on this link, briquette, in foil: 🔗
There are significantly less melting salts in it than in your soft one!
mka
I also buy in a piece, by weight.
Zhivchik
In my opinion "Amber" has always been soft cheese. And it is unlikely that he will be able to fork out.

And here, let me, like Stanislavsky, exclaim "I DO NOT BELIEVE!"
Nobody will sell it to you by weight! It is not released in pieces. Soft and viscous in jars sealed with foil - YES, in a foil in a small, elastic bar - YES, in the form of slices in a vacuum package - also YES!
But a piece so that the seller can cut it for you by weight - NO! GOSTs, TU and sanitary rules do not allow.
mka
Believe it or not, we sell this cheese by weight.
Medusa
Perhaps your sanitary standards are different.
mka
In stores, it is in the form of such packages (only this is a different type of cheese)

Oh, Medusa .. if it is packed in foil by 100 grams, why can't they be sold by weight? .. especially in Israel .. it all depends on the manufacturer, this amber is still different according to GOST ... so when it is fresh, it is spoons are straight, like honey stretches, but if it stands, it becomes dense, you can shake it out of the box with a block and cut it into plates with a knife ...but sold in boxes sealed with foil .. buy in METRO. from the same manufacturer ...
Thank you mka for a delicious sandwich ....

Oh, yana, oh, my God, what is there incomprehensible ?!
Maybe in Israel the sanitary rules are different from ours (although their climate will be hotter than the Russian one), but then how will you determine the shelf life of that piece of processed cheese that was cut off for you with a non-sterile knife in non-sterile conditions and packed in non-sterile packaging by a far from sterile seller? You perfectly understand that such cheese is in a soft version for a reason sealed at the factory in a jar with foil, and in a denser version - in a vacuum package or in a foil wrapper.
Made at the factory, such packaging ensures the safety of the product from damage for the time specified by the manufacturer, for which he is liable up to criminal.
Nobody can guarantee that when selling by weight in a store. And you don't need to threaten me with your finger, you should draw conclusions!
You and here, if that.

Medusa, how will you determine the expiration date of the sausage cheese? After all, it is also fused, but it is sold by weight and cut with a non-sterile knife by non-sterile sellers. And expensive imported processed cheeses will cut you at least 20g with a knife in any super.
I won't argue, but it seems to me (and articles on the internet confirm) that the packaging depends more on the consistency of the cheese and is done for the convenience of sale, and not because sanitary standards are not allowed by weight. After all, the norms allow selling sour cream, cottage cheese, and even salads by weight.
