Girls, what can you say about such a cooking model? I read that recently Gorenie has been failing and incidents often happen. Is it so?

Elpizota, I have a Zanussi with a similar arrangement of handles, they get very hot .. but I still love my stove

I also changed all the same for gas on glass Sigmund Stein. And what bribed me was the fact that you can adjust the minimum flame the way I need. There's a regulator under the handle. The previous ariston, in the smallest position, did not give a small flame at all, it was necessary to regulate the flame as on ancient gas stoves by catching the flame in the direction of shutdown.
Svetlana, what kind of model do you have? Now you like and completely satisfied with the hob?

I have a Domino surface Zigmund & Shtain MN 14.31 S, I don't use it much, boil a kettle, boil pasta and fry eggs. More than a year has passed since I bought it, the panel did not disappoint me, it is easy to clean, there are no annoying snags, like on stainless steel. That is, it suits me completely.

Thank you. On Yandex, reviews are mainly about Bosh. I also ordered a three-plate Sigmund: my husband prefers to cook on the stove.
I really want a large frying pan and a saucepan to fit at the same time.

Girls, are the gas combs-crowns easy to use?

sazalexter, Alexanderwhat can you say about Siemens EN675MV17E ??? It's just Neff on which I put my eye on my absolutely dumb denyuzhkov ... I would be glad to hear any "+" and "-" of this model !!! Thank you in advance for your reply !!!

Umka19, and a link to the manufacturer's website?
Is this the one without standard round burners, or what? Then it's inconvenient.

Bijou, Lena, what is inconvenient ???

If necessary, I will look on my computer for a photo of pans at work - because of the two oval inductors on one burner, dead zones in the dishes are obtained without heating. This time. And two - these burners are slower than usual. That is, the same pot will boil faster on a standard burner than on such a square one. Probably, this is also due to the "wrong" heat distribution - part of the coil will be uncovered by the dishes, and some of the dishes will remain without inductors.

If you really want such a pribluda, then by all means choose a cooking in which flakes are only on one side, and on the other there are normal burners, and one of them is 21 cm least.
Umka
And I thought that on the contrary ... on such a surface where you can't put the dishes, the heating will be more even than on standard burners ...

Umka19, I subscribe to the above. Better round induction, of course, but if there is no choice better than this. The prices are certainly not humane, but you have to get used to ... The imported goods are tied to the exchange rate

Umka 19, I have such a hob. I bought it for a new apartment, now I use it. The old one had gas. I have nothing to compare with, but I am more than satisfied.I have never used Flex. Soon I'll bake pancakes, I'll see, maybe, as the girls write, there are "dead zones". I haven't noticed such a feature yet. It warms up, boils faster than on gas, I have already noted this for myself.

This is yes. But the round one will heat up EVEN faster. A user who has both burners on the stove notes that for equally heating the flex will have to be made more powerful by 1-2 steps than the round one. Well, power-speed is never superfluous.)

But. Do not skip my words about "at least 21 cm" - if the cooking simply does not have full-size burners, then there will be nothing to heat up instantly.) Otherwise, manufacturers, in order to reduce the price, have taken the fashion to sculpt only tiny burners, on which you cannot even put a pan. People do not delve into such trifles, save several thousand, and then deprive themselves of convenience and freedom for many years.

If the size is not indicated in the store, you need to look for instructions. If there is no plain text there, we are looking for the power of the burners. Typically, power is tightly tied to size. So, the usual 21 cm is 2.3 kW at the maximum and 3.2 at boost (these numbers can be more, but cannot be less). 18 cm is, respectively, 1.8 kW, 16 cm - 1.6 kW, and so on. If there is a double large one by 28-32 cm - no need to flatter yourself, all the same, a normal 21 cm must be.
Umka
Bijou, sazalexter, many thanks for the clarification !!! I just don't like (visually) panels with circles ...

If the time comes to change my hob, then I'll buy one - siemens flexinduction, it is so smart that it adjusts itself and turns on the heating only under the bottom of the cookware.
They all do it the same way.)) Only under the round inductor there will be no empty zones, but under the square one will be what is in the photo above.)

And in order to put the dishes anywhere on the panel and not fall into empty spaces, you need to have a completely different wallet - the BSH and Dietrich have models, where the number of inductors is at least forty. That's where you really want to put it, don't miss.

I report on pancakes. I have already said that my frying pan is quite large (BRA 26 cm). I baked my usual recipe for thin pancakes, and so everything was perfectly fried in one zone. There are no "dead" zones, it is baked evenly over the entire diameter of the pan. I was worried that I would need a flex, but no, it cost one zone for "8".
Umka
Elena, thanks for not forgetting !!!
I bought it, that's it, now we will be friends with "stoves" !!!

"8"?? What is the maximum level? Probably 12-15? I have a 28 cm aluminum pan fries pancakes by 6-7, and a stainless 5-6, even with our reduced voltage. But the maximum step is at my "9".
I cook stir-fry on "8" in 28 cm pans.))

Congratulations on the new thing!
amurchik
Maximum 9+. you can also fry for 6-7. But I like to fry very quickly, so 8
Bijou
And I didn't manage to fry at high power on induction. I decided that I had done the wrong dough, when the pancake darkens by 7-8 from below faster than it grabs over the entire area. Some have not yet reached the brim, and some have already turned black and become bitter. ((Then I lowered it by 2 steps and everything worked out, again the thin pancakes became golden.
Everyone adapts in their own way. )) Well, the round burners are a little more powerful, of course.
Vintage
My husband gave me such a hob, just a feast for the eyes! Now I advise everyone !!)) hansa, with a vintage pattern - birds, very beautiful !! + it is a pleasure to cook on it - it heats up and cools down very quickly, there are timers (on each zone !!), blocking so that the kids don't get in, lovely in general. I'm not overjoyed)) Glass ceramics are now just do for me - ve best !!

Bijou

+ it is a pleasure to cook on it
And tell me, please, does your Hansa have intermittent boiling at the lower power stages? And if so, where do they stop?

IMHO, lately I have met too many reviews that manufacturers are doing a mess by putting a miserable filling inside the panel, which is why an expensive brew, like a "named", begins to behave like an ordinary penny Chinese noun.
elka34
Girls and boys! I ask for advice, we have few induction cookers in our million-strong village, and the prices will not rise. Since you need to buy a bunch of equipment, the budget for the pad is not more than 30 thousand. We have the HOTPOINT-ARISTON KIO 744 DD Z induction hob and HANSA BHI67303 induction hob in this price. There is no particular trust in any of the manufacturers, but who can use it, which is better to take Ariston or Hansa?
dopleta
Lena, you will not find a person on the forum who would use and compare both the one and the other panel. Therefore, everyone will write about their own, if any. Before the induction unit I had a conventional electric glass-ceramic Ariston, it worked flawlessly for 8 years, and now it regularly serves in another house.
Bijou

Therefore, everyone will write about their own, if any.
Why not? I can talk about strangers too.
We ourselves have Hansa BHIW68303: it suits everything, but it works in the "very gurgle / dull" mode and cooks pasta disgustingly.
The model is slightly different, but the brand policy is unlikely to differ from model to model.

The most disgusting thing that can be in an induction panel is the duty cycle at low powers. Usually everyone has it at a power of up to 300 watts, but the performance is fundamentally different - in cooking leading brands such as BSH-Electrolux, fluctuations are weak, and in budgetary ones, as in almost all Chinese table tiles, the switch is hard - between switching on at high power and complete shutdown. Why the food burns and boils is extremely unstable. ((Plus, the length of the unstable zone can be different - sometimes the first three steps, and sometimes as many as seven. Out of nine, yeah. (

Even with poor identification of dishes, you can put up with, eventually picking up her favorite saucepan for each burner, but it's almost impossible to come to terms with the duty cycle (PWM control). Well, except perhaps to buy the heaviest dishes for smoothing impulses.

I won't say anything about Ariston. If it came across somewhere, then it was not deposited in my head. And Whirlpool, Samsung, Hansa often have the above problem according to user reviews.
Babushka
I have Hansa induction. Works really well. The only problem: when I bake pancakes in a pan, I have to change the burner if there is a large amount. Is it automatic? and turns off the hotplate for a while, since I periodically remove the pan in order to pour the dough.
Works well at low temperatures. But my dishes are mostly Berghof from the first editions.
Bijou
Quote: Babushka
Works well at low temperatures.
That is, does not clink when switching power? And if half a glass of water is poured into a small bowl, then the change of distinct boiling and pause will not be visible?

Just a quote, it's from a review on brews. More recently, the newly-baked owner of Hansa's solo stove said the same thing.
Babushka
Lena, I came up with an algorithm for myself: I switch to low temperatures after it boils well. In this case, boiling and pause are not traced. The boil is quiet and even. But, dishes with a thick bottom. Sometimes (in the evening) switching clicks are heard. I think it has to do with the line voltage. Peak load and undervoltage?
This is my second hansa. The first was a combined induction and highlight. There were such problems in that. She served for about 7 years and closed.
Babushka
I forgot to add that I only used the 7th level of heating a few times. I have never used the maximum. I usually start at level 6 and finish at level 3 or 2.
Bijou
Quote: Babushka

No.) This is purely due to PWM (and silence in the room). All plates have it on the first steps, and switching occurs with such a click, similar to the click of a nail on a nail.

Well, if your cooker is cooking water calmly at 2-3-4 steps, without boiling and pause, then you need to announce the model number, we will know our heroes.

No, those who have switched from highlights to induction do not have to bother with such trifles, while highlights always work on the principle of a "warm-not-warm" iron. But I switched from gas and value my brew extremely for its smooth running. )) Karochi, everyone has their own cockroaches.
Babushka
Lena, when I had a combined one, I used only induction, and never a highlight burner. It takes a long time to warm up. When I come to my daughter, I don’t like to cook with her for this reason.
And clicking on low modes is rarely heard. True. Our apartment is very quiet.
About cockroaches is also true.

For excellent (in the sense, normal ) cooking!

Built-in hobs

4 control zones without preliminary selection of the hotplate (the choice infuriates incredibly), without preliminary blocking "by default" (they say it seems like you can turn it off, but people complain), with two parallel control modules (that is, out of 4 burners, two can work at maximum power, on simpler models there is only one module - for such, the total power will be indicated low, 3-5 kW; then, when installing several vessels, the model will continuously click, switching power between all burners, dividing the allocated 3.7 kW, as in the same Hansa, by all - enrages!) Here the total power is normal - 7.5 kW. Pay attention to this when choosing a stove.

There is a normal hotplate on 21 cm with normal power in 2.3 kW (3.7 boost). Follow! The cheap ones often don't have this, you can't put a normal pan.

One thing you can find fault with is the lack of sliders. With them there is a model of the same line, but more expensive. But I tried it on in the store - I didn't really like it. And recently, a person who changed the classic +/- to 4 small sliders complained about their low sensitivity and, in general, did not like the controls.

In short, Electrolux EHH 56340 (more precisely, any Lux or AEG with this combination of numbers in the name - "634") most popular model from a low budget. Hit, so to speak. Before my eyes, they buy it in very large quantities, because the best ratio of price and quality. Plus, Electrolux is amazingly omnivorous for dishes !!
Bijou
Wow, what did I bring for the collection !!

Demo video on "How not to design induction hobs".
Enjoy.

It is clear now why I resist so much other people's desires to buy "something cheaper"? The saved several thousand will be forgotten in a few months, if not weeks. And the inconvenience and frustration will stay with you forever.
