Nut horseshoes

Ingredients

butter 280 g
flour 350 g
eggs 1 PC
powdered sugar 150 g
walnuts 200 g
vanilla sugar 1 p
cinnamon 0.5 h l

Cooking method

  • 1. Grind the nuts into small crumbs, mix with flour and cinnamon.

  • 2. Mix the egg, soft butter, powdered sugar, vanilla until smooth (it is convenient to do this with a mixer or in a food processor at low speed).

  • 3. Stir in the nut-flour mixture, collect the dough in a ball and put in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

  • 4. Roll the dough into "sausages" in small portions and form the horseshoes. Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown (15-20 minutes). While still hot, sprinkle with icing sugar, let cool and sprinkle liberally a second time.

Horseshoes are crispy and crumbly, just melting in the mouth. A very decent heap of cookies from this amount of ingredients disappears at an incredible rate.
