Lola! Bravo!

It would seem that we have not seen enough buns on the Internet or what? Well, very beautiful. And delicious.

Lola, how do you ensure that the filling of the sweet pies does not leak out? another question: does the pumpkin dough taste special? And what kind of load does the pumpkin carry in this case: taste? Or maybe sweet pies don't get stale so quickly? or something else? ...

Thanks for the recipe! Very interesting.

Luke , Pumpkin dough for buns, bread, pies ...Thank you Pumpkin dough for buns, bread, pies ...

In order to prevent the sweet filling from flowing out, when sculpting the pie, in addition to the filling itself, "pack" a small void. During cooking, the filling will boil just in this void and will not break out.

The pumpkin and pumpkin butter dough gives a pumpkin flavor that is felt well in bread. In sweet pastries, for example, in pies, this shade is lost against the background of jam, but the flavor note is still present. The pies are more soulful.

An interesting question is whether adding pumpkin (in this case) affects storage duration. Gotta experiment
Alas, I won't answer this question - I don't know, because everything is eaten up very quickly.Pumpkin dough for buns, bread, pies ...

But I can notice that the dough (both yeast and sourdough) responds very positively to replacing plain water with juice. And he does not complain about the addition of fruit or vegetable additives.

Lola! People! I made them today. With pumpkin. I made such a cool pumpkin. When I cut it, I staggered back: straight bright orange, almost red. Where, I think, to vpendyur such beauty? (Gentlemen, keep quiet!) In short, I put it in buns. I didn't have time to photograph. Everything was eaten at once. Orange color. Very soft, delicate. It’s a pity, I didn’t manage to test my own theory. According to which, these buns should not have become stale thanks to the pumpkin. Ate too quickly ...

Lola, thanks.

Thank you!
And tell me, if there is no pumpkin oil, can I replace it with vegetable oil?
And I understood correctly that according to the recipe, all butter (pumpkin seed 2 tablespoons, vegetable 2-3 tablespoons) goes into the dough? Or is a part designed for pumpkin passivation?
Gaby
Read carefully, pumpkin is fried on vegetable, and pumpkin seed oil is added to the dough for flavor.
