Good people, please tell me, who has a multi-pressure cooker from Polaris?
I've been tormented by the choice for several months now ... I just decided on a brand, when I realized that I needed a pressure cooker, after all, and not just a cartoon ...
they now have PPC 0205AD - is someone already using the International Federation of Journalists?

: hi: Probably you will be the first! I’m not going to come to the desire to buy a pressure cooker, I don’t understand its purpose for myself. I just remember that she cooks faster, but as far as I understood, in order to cook something, for example, in 10 minutes she needs some time to warm up, or am I mistaken? and then some time so that it can be opened. Well, I may be delusional on this topic.

: hi: I didn't think that in just three hours Polaris 508 would get such milk.

My Elby multicooker pressure cooker is very similar in function to the Polaris pressure cooker. for a long time I was choosing which multicooker to buy and Dax, and Orion, and Aurora and Perfeza all seemed worthy. But I read a lot about pressure cooker-multicooker and decided to buy it.
Any dish is prepared 3-4 times faster than just in a multicooker. It does take a while before the pressure builds up, but should everything boil in the end? When you need to fry onions with carrots, you turn on the baking or meat mode and it heats up very quickly, it seems to me faster than my frying pan on the electric stove, you fry everything with the lid open, like in a simple multicooker, and then add all the other ingredients, close the lid, close the valve and even then the pressure starts to build up and fast cooking begins. In Elba, the maximum cooking time in stewing is 60 minutes - during this time, homemade soup chicken has time to boil to such a state that the meat falls off the bones, dry peas (without presoaking!) Are boiled in mashed potatoes in 60 minutes. If buckwheat is poured with boiling water, then steam is set for pressure in 2-5 minutes and the cooking time for 2 multi-glasses of buckwheat is enough for 12 minutes. Potatoes with beef are completely stewed in 20 minutes (if with chicken, then 15 minutes is enough) and it manages to acquire a golden brown hue, which is obtained if you simmer potatoes with beef for a long time. Milk, too, on the stewing mode for 60 minutes, already a beautiful stewed color, did not stew milk separately, cooked pearl barley porridge for 60 minutes - and it became a beautiful color of baked milk.
If I want a second pressure cooker, then I can take Polaris - it has a maximum cooking time like you can set 99 minutes, and in my Elby - 60 minutes is the maximum. Only I haven't gotten baked goods yet, but I have a wonderful oven and a bread maker too.

and yesterday I stuffed a ham maker into Polaris - the result pleased, only it was probably possible to cook less, but I did not find time recommendations for the pressure cooker and set 50 minutes on Meat on the bone

Wow!!! I also want to learn how to make yogurt! can I have a step-by-step instruction ???
: hi: Hello! I just washed the jars, poured 2/3 hot water into them and put them in the microwave for 4 minutes.
Boil the milk, cool it to 35-37 degrees, add simple Activia yogurt, stir it with a whisk, pour it into jars.
You can just pour milk, or you can put jam (I have kiwi jam in the photo).
We pour water into the MV, the temperature is the same as milk (by laying something on the bottom), put the jars of milk and close the MV lid. EVERYTHING! There is no need to turn on the heating! After 8 hours, the yogurt is ready! Maybe he is ready earlier, but I do it at night.Multicooker Polaris PMC 0508DMulticooker Polaris PMC 0508DMulticooker Polaris PMC 0508D

: hi: Ham maker is that Beloboka? I'm also waiting for the chicken to thaw. I will invent something.
yes, she is the one))) I looked at her for a long time, then I told my colleagues at work - and I had to buy a wholesale lot - now we are trying the results)

Thanks for the yogurt - just a question, is it necessary to boil the milk ??? probably, not?..

And probably it is necessary to support the initiative with a zucchini pie - otherwise I haven't tried baking yet, although I really expected to use it)))

: hi: I always boil milk, it is still necessary to heat it up, and suddenly it is not boiled.
The pie is very tasty and the zucchini is not felt.

Oh, I also became the owner of this floral miracle! My husband calls me a "lover of technical excesses". And I like all these "excesses" so much !!! Horror! So, of course, I could not resist and immediately cooked my first dish - chicken in sweet and sour sauce. Before that, I read a lot of forums. About the smell from plastic, for example, ... I had no smell. Nothing burnt ... I used the "Pilaf" mode ... and everything was fried well ... In general, I am very pleased !!! Well, here is such a cake, though I made it back in July, but only now my hands have reached the point of placing it on the site. I just forgot that I took pictures in the summer. Since the moment the cake was made, I have already prepared a lot of things. And most importantly, he gave MV for his daughter's birthday and just gave it to his son and daughter-in-law. Everyone is happy. Especially my daughter - she will throw it in the evening, in the morning it is ready. And the children are full and the husband is happy and she does not strain. Well, I'm happy - I pleased everyone!
Vovan
This cake is the result of my trials at the time. Plain biscuit (recipe from this site under Panas). Our favorite cream - homemade sour cream + condensed milk, gets lost. But most of all (and most often) my family adores Boiling Chocolate. It's the birthday of my youngest son on Tuesday, I'm going to make a couple of Chocolates .... I'll try to take a picture.
Guylechka
The most interesting thing is that Boiled Water Chocolate is best obtained in Polaris, at least out of the three I have (Dex, Polaris, Elbee). Maybe it's all about power?
Vovan
It's just that this recipe is designed for Panasonic, and the power of Panas and Polaris is 700 W, so it turns out better. And for all other MVs, you need to recalculate the time, since everyone has more power. That is why I was looking for something identical to Panas, in terms of power and programs.
Ludusya
Hello everyone! So my dream has come true, I also now have such a multicooker 0508D. I baked a cupcake in it, everything turned out great.Yesterday I cooked a vegetable stew, first tried to fry the chicken fillet with onions in the baking mode, but it practically did not fry, juice stood out, and there was no frying. Can you please tell me which mode is best for frying? And do I need to close the lid while doing this?
Vovan
To be honest, I do frying on the stove, in order to save electricity)). But I tried to do it in MV. Baking mode. I poured oil, waited with the lid closed until it warmed up, and then fried it open, stirring.
Ludusya
Vovan Vladimir, I was impressed by your stories about a chocolate cake on boiling water, I have never baked it before, but then I took a chance and my family was just delighted) I baked the cartoon for a total of two hours, thank you a piece

Here, after 3 years of baking this cake, first in the oven, and now in the MV, I got a puncture. First, the cake rose, and after taking out the saucepan, it fell. Moreover, the opal is strong, and the internal consistency turned out to be not bubbly, but uniformly dense. In principle, it is edible, but not that ... Since I was preparing the youngest son for his birthday, and the cake had already been announced among his friends, on the advice of his wife, I had to urgently bake another biscuit of the same kind, cut them in half, and make 4 layers ... They ate the cake, but I was tormented by the question - why it happened. And this despite the fact that during the baking process, I do not open the lid. Both biscuits came out the same - at first they rose strongly, then fell heavily, but I wrote about the inside. After reading the topic on the forum about this cake, I came to the conclusion that the baking powder is to blame. And, most likely, not the baking powder itself, but what I bought under this brand. Since I have been buying this product for a long time and from the same manufacturer, and bought 10 pieces of them for the future, I remembered that my and other baked goods, where I used this time, did not turn out very well either. Apparently some kind of palette was caught. Not only vodka, Palenque is sold)). The cake is edible and tasty - but not what you expect. We'll have to buy another break and try to calm it down.
Guylechka
Vovan! If this is our Ukrainian baking powder, then it is quite likely that the reason lies in it, since it is nothing! And for the future, make your own baking powder - 1 part lim. acids (grind the crystals in a mortar) and 2 parts each of soda and flour or starch (I do both in half). Flour, starch are stabilizers so that the lemon with soda does not react prematurely, otherwise there will be one solid lump. All this is in a jar, shaken so that the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, and you will be happy in unlimited quantities at any time and without punctures;)!
ElenaMart
I have the same story as Vovana -and the cake didn't work, and the cupcake. Exactly no baking powder. I will do it on the advice Guylechka itself

Dear owners of Polaris 0508, now I'm testing it (her - a multicooker) for a friend. And here is the question: the milk barley porridge ran away, why is this so? After 30 minutes, steam poured out of the valve, and porridge climbed onto the "street" In my cartoon, everything is fine, I cook milk porridge all the time, the recipe is checked and we love it, the power is the same. What's the matter?
Guylechka
I once cooked milk porridge in Polaris - I don't want it anymore! I had to wash everything, scrub it off ...
Vovan
Maybe they poured a lot of milk? My daughter cooks milk porridge for children - she will not be overjoyed! MV is the same, gave everyone the same))).
Ludusya
Aygul, I cooked rice milk porridge several times, everything is fine, you could see from the saucepan that the milk was rising, but not more than half a saucepan. Maybe you cooked a large portion?
Aygul
Yes, as usual, for 1 multi-glass. The recipe is tested in my cartoon Viconte. And they are the same ...

Please enlighten the dark. We just arrived from the Metro store and saw a multicooker polaris pmc 0506 ad. I have never had a CF and I do not see pitfalls, what is the difference between 056 and 0508, only in flowers? , I also realized that in this MV the lid is not removable, is it important? just stood next to Panasonic, there, too, the lid is not removable. Well, I don't see what the difference is, maybe it makes no sense to take 506

vera, 506 more programs, a little better saucepan. But I, having both, gave preference to 508!
The removable cover is not important at all. And you also write about flowers, in 506 they are not there, maybe you are comparing other multicooker?

Well, yes, I mean 508, why is everyone praising it so much, I wanted to buy a 506 there and a large volume and a metal case, but now I don't know, and I'm looking for 508. So I'm wondering why the 508 is preferred?

There is no sound signal in 506, this is important to me. Broke down on day 12 and from many I hear that it is not of high quality. In 508 there is no frying, for "steaming" only frying if it is problematic, in 506 there is frying. And so everything is the same. Baking, pilaf, stewing, porridge, soup at 508 comes out great!
Vovan
Googled and found the 506 model. Without delving into the programs, I immediately found the difference - the power is 860 W, which means that many Panas recipes cannot be used without recalculating the cooking time. The power of Panas and Polaris 508 is 700 watts. And the possibility of frying (due to the higher power) is not worth it. IMHO.
Vichka
I will add: fry meat, cutlets, vegetables, with a power less than 860, well, you really have to puff!
Baking at a power less than 860 is excellent, we add only the baking time.
At 860 or more, it is good to bake a biscuit, charlotte, but for a casserole, a capacity of more than 860 is not desirable, I tried it in Brand and Dex, there are 960
Vovan
The point here is that who wants to get from CF. For example, I am least interested in the process of frying in MV. I fry (for example, for soup) on the stove. Firstly, saving electricity, and secondly - for me the main criterion for choosing MV (I have already written about this more than once) was one - without problem adaptation of the mass of recipes to Panas. Baking and stewing are priority programs (for me), but pilaf and buckwheat, in principle, are the same in all CFs. If for someone frying in CF is one of the main conditions, then the more powerful, the better. But then you need to tinker with the recipes (choose the cooking time, look for the first times, try until you find what you need). On different forums about different CFs, they do not always share the exact recipes for a specific CF, but more talk in a lifetime ..)). Although I read that in the new MV (it seems Klatronic), in general, the Quenching / Steamer program is connected in one button. How can this be - after all, in theory, there are different power modes, but you can fry anything in it, but what's the point of it? Here everyone must determine - why does he need it or does he need it at all? )))
Vichka
It is best to have MV of different power, two will be enough.
If I did frying in a frying pan, then I would continue to do without a multicooker by cooking the soup. Thank God that we almost never eat soups, there are no problems with this dish! But frying is very important to me. Especially in the Brand with the "manual" program, where you can change the temperature. And on Monday, tomorrow, I have to get a Redmond 4502, I'll play enough!
Vichka
What is the point of cooking in MV if you also use a frying pan ?!
In CF there is oil, fat does not splatter anything, like from a frying pan, there are no unnecessary dishes. In general, you have to try.
Yes, 508 agrees not bad MV, considering its cost. And I was happy with her until I compared her with Dex. The difference is huge! At 508 I bake with pleasure, there is a bowl suitable for baking; casseroles are only in it, I make pilaf in it the same way, sausage in the WHEEL. And that's all, the rest for other CFs.
Seat leon
I also bought this miracle 508, I'm very happy. After reading a little I saw the problem of escaped porridge.
I read in the Internet and tried a way to keep the porridge from escaping on myself (that is, in a saucepan): you need to put a container with holes on top for steaming, and even the nimble and jumpy Herculean porridge behaves decently. And I also do the frying for the soup in the "steaming" mode, my stove is also electric and there is no difference where to fry. I'm just waiting for the oil to warm up. Stewed and steamed is now more relevant in our family.
Now in Ashan this saucepan costs 1,800 rubles.
Irene
People, help with advice, pliz.
I purchased Polaris-0508D, before that I used Panasonic. In Polaris, the milk porridge is slightly burnt. Poured pumpkin + 1 cup rice + 2 cups millet + 6 cups milk + 1 cup water. Cooked with a delay of 9 hours in the "Milk porridge" mode. In Panasonic, nothing has ever burned at the same proportions. Maybe you need more liquid? Then the consistency will not be the same ...
Aygul
Irene perhaps because of the power. There are 700 in Polaris, and 670 in Panas. A trifle, of course, but maybe it was these 30 watts that led to the burning. Try pouring a little more liquid.
Ludusya
Irene I often cook milk porridge, I'm just a bastard, I threw everything away and I don't have to stand at the stove. But I definitely open the cartoon after 20 minutes and mix it, otherwise it sticks a little.

On Saturday, I cooked jellied meat for the first time in a slow cooker. I put everything in a saucepan, poured cold water to the maximum mark and turned it on for stewing for 7 hours, an hour later I opened it, collected the foam and an hour before it was ready, threw the carrots, onions and salted. The cooking process is normal, but I really liked the fact that I did not need to watch it!

Yes, yes, in the middle of the program I also open and mix, but only the barley one, and at the end of the program I mix the rest and leave it to rise.
Irene
And I think, can the oil be thrown to the bottom or somehow cut the time?
