Good day, everyone! I can't figure it out with my Polaris 0506AD either. I will not master two programs in any way: Turbo and Normal. But with the modes Soup / porridge, Stewing, Baking, Steam - everything is in order. I read it on the forums, but found nothing practical. The official website replied that Turbo and Normal are modes, like cooking on a regular stove, and here you need to walk, stir and monitor the cooking. Why is it in a multicooker when you can also fuss at the stove? I tried to cook elementary pilaf on the Normal mode - it was, of course, ready, but I was still waiting for the time to run out and the countdown would start. I waited until 1 hour and 8 minutes (55 minutes in the instructions) and turned it off. It even began to stick to the bottom, and I waited - and then my patience ran out. On Turbo, I also tried to cook buckwheat porridge. Of course, I cooked the porridge, but not in 40 minutes, as it was established, but in 25. And the Frying mode was also not very well mastered, because it is more convenient for me to sauté vegetables in the Pastry. Can anyone have mastered these modes and can share. With these experiments, I prepared two different dishes ahead of the day.

Thank you very much! I am an absolute, teapot, in technology. You can point by point all button presses for stewing meat and a steamer
I stew meat as follows: Chop onions, carrots and other vegetables (which you need to sauté), pour oil into the bowl and turn on the "Baking" mode (the mode is selected by pressing the "Programs" button, where the pointer will move across the display), put in a bowl of vegetables and press the "Start" button (in a minute the butter will fizzle somewhere and frying will begin), add the chopped pieces of meat and fry too. The time will count down and you turn it off with the "Cancel" button when you need it (well, for example, after 15 minutes) - zeros will appear on the display. Then using the "Programs" button (by pressing the button - the black triangle will move across the display) select, by pressing it, the "Extinguishing" program - the display will show the time 2:00 - this is the least time, it can be increased, but this is enough (If it takes less time, then the multicooker can simply be turned off with the "Cancel" button). When you turn on the "Extinguishing" mode, you may not approach it for 2 hours. After 2 hours, the "Extinguishing" mode will switch to the "Maintain temperature" mode. Now you can press the "Cancel" button and then turn off the multicooker from the socket.
To use the "Steam" mode, you need to pour water into the bowl, put a white bowl with holes on top (it is included) and put potatoes on top, for example. After connecting the multicooker to the network, zeros will appear on the display. Using the "Programs" button, select the "Steam" mode, the display will show 0:05 (this is 5 minutes). Then press the "Settings" button and the "+" button on the right - this button increases the time by 1 minute. Select how many minutes you need (well, 20 minutes ) and press the "Start" button, the time will count down.
And in general, if you need to choose a time greater or less than the set one, you must first press the "Settings" button, and then "+" or "-".

Hello everyone! A scratch appeared on the bottom of the bowl. What to do? Does it affect anything? I don't even know how it happened, because I only use a multicooker spoon and a silicone spatula.
sczastje
I hesitate to use the spatula and scoop that come with the set, because they are made of hard plastic, and you can easily scratch them, I have a wooden spoon
at the expense of the harmfulness of scratches, I can not say for sure, you can google scratches on Teflon, or something like that

I immediately rejected these multicooker shovels and never used them in a multicooker. I use wooden ones. My friends have already scratched their bowls, but I have not, although I bought MB before them. They use the scoops and spoons that come with the CF.

Thank you. Exactly, I'll try to google it. I immediately went to the forum with my misfortune. It's a shame, I took care of it ... Maybe the pets scratched ...

So they still use the scratched bowls. I have one long line at the bottom and two smaller ones. But I still read somewhere that if the bottom is scratched, then when the bowl is heated to a certain temperature, harmful substances are released into food.

Gentlemen, experienced multicooker! Please advise, one of these days I plan to buy the first cartoon in my life, I have read all the forums, but I’m not sure which is better - Polaris or Supra ??? At first I was leaning towards the Supra MCS-4511, the reviews about it are very good! But today she was not in the store and began to look at Polaris PMC 0508D, outwardly I liked it more, this neat one. So I climbed in here again, to consult, it seems that they also write well about her, not counting the burnt cereals I want to cook everything - soups, and cereals, and all sorts of second courses, well, bake. Tell me, plizz!

Polaris PMC 0508D is certainly a cheap cartoon, but not very bad. The cup was enough for me for six months, everything began to stick to the bottom, well, and immediately there was a desire to buy a more impressive MV. I mean, why pay twice? Buy directly Brand 37501 or 37502.

Recipes from Panas are suitable for Polaris without recounting, and as for the saucepan, buy it with a ceramic coating, generally super. The Viscount is the same too.

And which saucepan will fit the Polaris PMC 0508D from those on sale? I know what is suitable from Redmond, but it is not better in quality.

Good evening! I bought a multicooker Polaris 0580 today. I wanted to cook pilaf, I could not set the time, and that's it.Tell me please, maybe the time is not set, but starts from scratch, then you cannot leave it unattended and everything will burn, and how much will she cook it?
vernisag
On buckwheat and pilaf programs, the time is not displayed on the display, after selecting the program, press start. It will cook for about an hour, do not be afraid that nothing will burn. At the end of the program, the mv will go into heating mode, you need to turn it off, mix the pilaf and go to the table. Bon Appetit!

Good day to all - to all - to all! Girls, if my intervention is unnecessary, and you yourself know this advice, but still ... I read about burnt cereals - try, if you haven't, grease the bowl with multi vegetable oil. The fact is that I, too, burned themselves to the bottom, and then dug it up - it turns out that it is necessary to lubricate it with butter, darling! And that's all - the problem is gone !!!

friends, help ... I can't understand what's the matter!
I've been trying to bake in MV 4 times and it's all in vain ... the top is raw, not baked in any
I put the baking mode on which is combined with the soup with milk porridge., in an hour everything is completely raw, I put the same mode again, another hour and still more than half raw .. they write that it is necessary to turn it over ... but how? still raw ... how to turn it over? I do not understand...

pilaf, soup, potatoes, stews and vegetables get a bang, but bake something in any way ... what to do?
maybe with an open lid, but what's the point? or open the valve?
Vovan
What's hotter? Maybe the mode doesn't work? Take it to the workshop, maybe it is necessary. What's the recipe? I bake chocolate in boiling water, so sometimes it can take up to two hours, and another 15-20 minutes on heating. It all depends on the consistency and ingredients. And at the time of baking, do not open the lid, otherwise if you look often, it will not bake. The main thing is not to be discouraged, anything can happen. Try it, dare ... Good luck !!!
Lola200677
I have a multicooker Polaris 508 / It hovers strongly from the valve. This is normal?
Vovan
Which mode? If soup or steaming is fine. There is a process of boiling water, so it evaporates)).
Lola200677
on buckwheat mode. and yesterday I made baked milk on the stewing mode, too, steamed. baked a lot of milk it seemed to me ... so it should be?

I also bake for a long time, "chocolate on boiling water" was baked for 3 hours in general, I did not turn it over and it did not burn, just the bottom was denser than the top, I was also worried, I wanted to throw it in the oven, but then I decided to "put the squeeze" on. For some reason, it is long in Polaris.
Viola
And I have a problem with baking in polaris. The gingerbread is baked and not baked normally in the bake program. I set the baking time to 1 hour + 50 minutes. I want to try the steam oven. Someone has such experience in baking in polaris 0508D? Before that I had been using Panasonic for 3 years and there were never such problems, everything was perfectly baked on baked goods in 1 hour + 20 minutes.
Vovan
I tried. I regularly make Chocolate with boiling water. Sometimes 1h + 40min is enough, sometimes you have to add up to 2-2.15 hours. I don’t even know what it’s connected with. The ingredients are always the same (I mean the quality of the products, I always buy the same). So, oh, I decided to try a couple of things on Warka. In general, I did not notice any differences. The baking times were also different. Maybe it's the weather, (in summer it turns out faster), humidity and ambient temperature? )) So I did not notice much difference, only by the end of baking I looked inside more often, although often it was impossible to open it. I have a suspicion that there is simply no power declared by the manufacturer in some, especially the most "powerful" modes.

Hello everyone! Yesterday I bought this "miracle" and I don’t understand why it’s impossible to cook porridge ... I cooked rice milk porridge according to a book, so the milk spilled out like a fountain from the multi: overy upset: cray: can someone tell me what the reason is.
Kasanko
this multicooker has a higher power than many others (it was discussed somewhere, I don't remember the exact topic), the milk boils quickly and has a tendency to run away. it is necessary to lubricate the bowl with oil slightly above the liquid level (although after lubrication it manages to slowly escape). If I cook something dairy, I look constantly. or I cook in a mixture of water + milk

The power of the multicooker has nothing to do with it. It all depends on the programs. For example, in Brand-501 or its twin Dex-60, the power is 980 W, but this does not interfere with cooking the most foamy cereals, because the Milk Porridge program is specially designed for milk (98 *).
So it's not the power that is to blame, but the inability of the multi for milk porridge.

Hello everyone, here's what I have:
Letter to "polaris":
Good afternoon Polaris!
There was a problem with service in the center of Kiev, st. Shchusev, 44.
01/31/2012 I purchased a multicooker Polaris PMC 0508D.
On August 17, 2012, during operation, the multicooker overheated and completely turned off, while there was a strong smell of burning.
When removing the pan from the multicooker, the heating element was deformed as a result of overheating.
On the same day, 17.08.2012, the multicooker was delivered to the service center at the address Kiev, st. Shchusev, 44 and handed over for warranty repair.
23.08.2012 the manager of the service center called and reported that the multicooker was canceled from the warranty due to mechanical damage to the heating element and issued an invoice for repairs and for a technical report on the breakdown.
In response, I refused to pay for the repairs, and demanded additional expertise at another service center.
In turn, the service at the address Kiev, st. Milchakova, 8, (044) 501-1961, refused to conduct an additional inspection of the multicooker on the basis that they are not a "central" service center and will not conduct an additional inspection after another service center.

Thus, I ask you to clarify my rights to service Polaris equipment and the mechanisms for resolving this conflict, since the device was used according to the instructions and I do not see my fault in the damage.
Sincerely.

Answer:
Good day, Andrey.

When examining the product by the master, a "dent" was found on the heating element (photo in the attachment). This damage was caused by mechanical impact. The operating rules say that mechanical damage is a reason for refusing to provide a guarantee.

-----------------------------------------------------
Regards!

These are the polaris pies!
It's good that there was no fire, so don't leave "this" unattended in any case. Although this is honestly written in the instructions ... at least don't burn the house down.

Maybe, of course, I could take something and make such a "mechanical" hole in a piece of aluminum, but I think the public will judge by itself ...

In fairness, after some communication, today they sent a second answer:

"Good afternoon again, Andrei.

This issue was discussed again and came to the following decision:

For this device, you will be given a non-repairable certificate. Please once again contact the service center where you were for the first time.

-----------------------------------------------------
Regards!"

The issue was resolved thanks to a direct appeal to those. support Polaris through their forum and mail.
I had to talk a little, but still the service issued a conclusion about the non-maintainability.
The item has been returned to the store.
I strongly advise users of the products not to use the services of the service center Kiev, st. Shchusev, 44, t. K.This is not the first time that problems have arisen due to the dishonesty of some of his employees.
The workers themselves at the issue were talking about a scandal over this multicooker, and in the erroneous conclusion of the "service master", but, nevertheless, in the conclusion it was written "the act was issued at the request of the representative office."
Thus, if you are sure that you are right, write complaints and ask for additional expertise.

Hello! I have a question for Vovan - I really liked how he describes his multicooker. I'm going to buy it too. The question is, how important is 3D heating? This multicooker does not have this function. Should I buy 0506AD because of this?
tatyana56
Good day to all! At the beginning of this topic it was written that the Polaris 0508D multicooker is a clone of Panas 18. But Panas has a power not of 700, but of 670 watts. Does this play a role in recipe adaptation?
Thanks in advance

Hello to all the inhabitants here! For the first time I drew attention to your CF, after I talked with the manager and Redmond didn't want to buy. Firstly, the bowls of Polaris are praised and they are suitable not only for him, and vice versa - other people's bowls approach him. Secondly, I have never met that Polaris are smelly at first, here I also have Visconte - there was no smell at all, somehow this makes me more comfortable. Well, just about on sale 0517 with ceramics. You know what is unpleasant - what nonsense is it written: "ANTIBACTERIAL" ceramic coating ??? What is it and why do we need it? On the forum of their site for something not to register to ask. After all, in MV the temperatures are already "antibacterial". And if they want to say that they added chemistry to the coating like in soap ...

Good day! I have already prepared a cottage cheese casserole twice according to Zagadoshna's recipe (5 eggs, 3 quarters of a cup. Sugar, 500 g of cottage cheese, 0.5 cup. Semolina, 1 cup. Kefir, baking powder), it turned out very tasty, but the casserole does not rise at all. Can you tell me what's the matter? Maybe the baking time is still not enough - 1 hour and 30 minutes. on heating (in the original, the baking time is even shorter - 40 minutes). Or is it my defect - the Baking does not heat much. Thanks in advance
alena1984
Hello! I bought Polaris 0517. Please tell me the recipes for potato casseroles and delicious recipes for chicken drumsticks, and I also have a question: do you need to release steam yourself or it should happen automatically. I haven't figured it out yet. Today I tried to make a casserole, the first pancake did not quite meet my expectations, I cooked in baking mode, the peas did not work, apparently I put a little cheese on top.

Dear owners of the multicooker Polaris 0508 Help !!!SOS !!!
The story is this: 2 days ago, my friend bought this multicooker.
Arriving home, I put water with lemon on "Steam cooking",
then washed and cooked potatoes with meat on "Buckwheat". Yesterday she decided to make a charlotte for Soup, Porridge, Pastries.
This morning she calls me all in tears, and I immediately come to you for help.
The fact is that after switching on the "Soup. Porridge. Baking" mode, the multicooker works for 5-7 minutes. and goes into dir. "Heating".
She checked other modes and it's the same there. What could it be? Marriage? Take the multicooker to the store?
Help me please!!!
Irina.
I have had a multicooker Polaris 0508 for almost a year. Once I had the same situation on the "Soup, Porridge, Pastry" mode. I didn't even understand the reason, but the next day the MV worked fine and never again did this.
John
We bought a multicooker Polaris 0508d immediately decided to cook a curd casserole, turned on the / Soup, Porridge, Baking mode / after 7 minutes it enters the heating mode, tried several times - to no avail, called the service center and said that this should not be so, there is no display backlight.I'll take it to take it. The neighbor redmond 4503 has biscuits, bakes casseroles with a bang, I'll take it!

Hello everyone, everyone! I will be happy to share my impressions of Polaris 517. I bought it the day before yesterday, yesterday I already prepared a bunch of everything, besides baking a biscuit, the result pleased me. The only thing that was a little unpleasantly surprised was the lack of an opportunity to set the current time and, accordingly, some inconvenience in setting a delayed start. And for some reason, a delay in the preparation of porridge is not provided, but I would like to get up in the morning, as experienced MV users describe, and the porridge is "hot, hot." If anyone knows how to do this in Multipovar, please give me a hint.
Everything else is more than fine with me! Thank you for your feedback, because it was thanks to them that I made my, I hope, the right choice. Now I pray to God that my cartoon works without failures!

Someone has such experience in baking in polaris 0508D? Before that I had been using Panasonic for 3 years and there were never such problems, everything was perfectly baked on baked goods in 1 hour + 20 minutes.

In the "baking" mode I got a wonderful sponge cake, and the default time was enough (50 minutes), and then kept it warm for another 15 minutes. But today there was a reason for frustration ... On the "milk porridge" mode I decided to cook rice with pumpkin. I put in the ingredients as per the recipe. I set the time to 30 minutes, but the countdown did not start. I got tired of waiting, got worried (well, this is understandable, suddenly nothing is being prepared there), opened the lid, found that the porridge was already being prepared, closed the lid and continued to observe. The countdown still started, but exactly 10 minutes later the MV turned off and without thinking to switch to the heating function. I set the heating on my own, waited 15 minutes, as recommended in the instructions, opened the lid. The porridge was still cooked and, I must say, very tasty, but it happened under my control and with my help!
Please help me figure out what's wrong with my cartoon! (I have Polaris 517).
I thank in advance those who did not remain indifferent to my request. I'm worried because my cartoon is only three days old!

Today they gave me MV Polaris 0512. We decided to put a porridge for the night. I look in the "rice" mode 9 for cereals) there is no delay, but there is in the cooking mode. Explain how these 2 modes differ and is it possible to cook porridge on the "Cooking mode")?

We bought a Polaris 508 multicooker as a gift to my husband's mom for a special offer. And my girlfriend also bought the same one. She has a little Panas. I took a big one for him. On the second day, she writes that she went to change the purchase. Baking mode does not work. I pulled out a purchased gift dough - the same sadness. After a few minutes, the baking switches off. The half-baked cupcake had to be reanimated by my big panasik (what a clever he is after all !!!!), and now we have to stomp into the store and deal with the marriage. It's a shame very much. But they could have given without checking. I had no thoughts. I checked the flip and start on the programs and that's it.

Hello!!!!! there was a question about the delayed start for cooking porridge in the heat of the morning! So my husband gave me just such a multicooker the day before yesterday (Multicooker Polaris PMC 0517AD). Everything worked out ! the porridge was just ready for breakfast, which made our little family extremely happy !!! now I answer the question.

: according to the recipe, we fall asleep with the ingredients, select the MULTI-COOK mode, set the temperature to 100 *. then the cooking time is 30 minutes. and then we press the TIMER, choose the time after which the porridge should start to cook (at the rate of 30 minutes it prepares and 30 minutes is infused.) For example, I set it at 24:00, it should be ready by 7:00. on the TIMER, set the time to 6h00 minutes. and press START.
