99.9% of homemade bread maker users do without a yeast dispenser.

For me, there is one sooo significant drawback in this dispenser (recently I was seriously thinking about buying a new HP) - it ALWAYS works with any bread yeast program (unlike the additive dispenser, which works only if the corresponding program "with raisins" is set) and the sound of the dispenser being triggered is loud enough. If someone in the family has a keen ear, and the kitchen is close to the room, then such a trigger "in the night" may sound like a shot.

Well, I think Comrade Dormidontov will deal with all the opinions himself. And the more there are, the better.

I have 2502. And I am very happy with it! I don't see fingerprints on it, because why should I touch the case with my hands ??? I opened the plastic lid, took out the bucket, put it in place ... why should there be fingerprints on the metal. the case? I do not understand. Slap, do you understand my stove! :)
About the yeast dispenser. Let it be better than regretting that he is not there. Doesn't interfere at all! Sometimes it helps. I use it periodically (honestly). But it all depends on the recipe by which we bake or knead the dough. Here, if we draw an analogy, once we had televisions without a control panel, and washing machines are not automatic machines ...
Regarding the opening volume of the yeast dispenser - I always put the bread overnight, the so-called "loud" sound of the opening dispenser does not wake me up, and it is not necessary to close it at all, it closes AUTOMATICALLY!
The stove is very good, albeit a little more expensive than the 2501. One shouldn't criticize the presence of the dispenser and the color of the case so much. I like metal more than plastic. And what you need - decide for yourself.
Good luck! Buy faster and enjoy fresh, delicious homemade bread.
Dormidontov
Thank you so much for your advice and opinions!
Everything is important to me, even what is not important to experienced bakers.

Mona1, thanks for the information about yeast. I was focused specifically on dry, but now I'm thinking.

Is the volume of the bucket different for 501 and 502?
I am also very interested in how the dough rises in such small buckets. When the wife puts the dough in the usual way, it increases in volume three to four times. How about in HP? It must run away.

sazalexter
Dormidontov Buckets, dimensions of HP 2501 and 2502 are the same! The difference is ONLY in the presence of a yeast dispenser in 2502 # 2500 and 2501 #
Rina
I myself belong to the category of deviceaholics, and I believe that there should be more functions. And it is better not to use them later than to regret that they are not there.

Comparing even (except 2502) and odd models of Panasonic
1. I have used the raisin dispenser five times in more than three years. It is easier for me to inject the amount of additives I need (in the 255 model it is relatively small) at the moment the dispenser is triggered (instead of a sound signal).
2. I did not start using the rye program right away - only when I came to the option with dough, but now I use it regularly.

About the yeast dispenser (DD) - I still saw only one real opinionwhy it might come in handy. This is the case when they cook in a bread maker deferred sourdough bread with the subsequent addition of additional portions of yeast.

How big is the market for bread makers, but with DD the same Panasonic released only the very first model of the oven (in the early nineties) to the European market and now. Consider me a snob, but if a person takes on home baking, then you need to turn on your head a little. For standard bread made from wheat flour, this very dispenser is more of a feature than a real necessity. The main voices "for" the presence of DD sound something like this "Water will not reach the yeast ahead of time." In fact, water can only get through wheat flour (if it is normally poured on top of the yeast) if it is poured with a hard stream under pressure or from a great height, i.e. water punches a layer of flour.

I suppose another option when DD is needed is baked goods made from exotic types of flour with properties different from wheat. In Japan and Asia in general, bread is often baked from rice flour (how many of this bread are found in our country?), From legume (or soybean) flour, etc. It is possible that their yeast is different from ours (for example, alcohol they get it not due to alcoholic fermentation of yeast, but due to the work of other microorganisms) - say, they contain some additives, enzymes, and are afraid of early getting into the dough.

In general, the presence of DD is the last feature worth looking at, especially for a novice baker. First of all - additive dispenser and rye program + design.

Dormidontov, the volume of buckets is the same for all panasonic models. The oven will automatically perform deboning, so the amount of dough can be said to be controlled automatically. Loading limits:
minimum - bread dough from 300 g of flour, maximum - from 600 g. If you sprinkle overly active yeast (there are such ones) and slightly go over it with liquid, then bread dough from 600 g of flour can "prop up the lid).

Rina link, as I understand it, the 501 has all the functions I need.

Thanks for the quick answers.
We need to decide before tomorrow.

Rye bread is our dream, but it needs to be learned and learned.

Measured the dimensions of the box: Height - 410 mm, width - 300 mm, depth - 430 mm.
And I use the yeast dispenser regularly!
For raisins and nuts - I agree, for an amateur, exotic. But let it be!
Used several times in three months of having a stove. It would be something to argue about!

My previous bread maker was with a dispenser, I used it for its intended purpose only a couple of times. This clicking and twitching device irritated and angered me very much, and then I had to remember to go to close it, because when the dough was being raised, the open dispenser interfered with, and it itself did not close automatically. Therefore, I bought the next bread machine without a dispenser and I am very happy about it.
Dormidontov
Thanks friends!
You can't even imagine how you are helping!

I drove into the M-Markt electronics store, decided to look and consult with a specialist. So he almost danced a striptease around Ken-450, which introduced me to some confusion, I was asking about Panas.

Rina
Uh-uh ... these sellers in stores (especially those positioned as large chains) are another story. They often do not even really know what kind of animal such a bread machine or multicooker is. And the clients get in on what the order came from "from above" or for which they receive bonuses.

Once I was in a situation when the seller, well, very, very much recommended to the client a Moulinex with baguette holders ... I listened, listened, and then asked what percentage of complaints ... the boy was somehow very embarrassed ... I stuck what I would advise to buy ...

But dry yeast was poured into a special dispenser. So it turns out, the flour is mixed with water, and the yeast is added later. Is it possible?
Yeast is poured into my HP 2502 - by themselves and when they need it. True, the sound when the yeast dispenser is triggered is like shots as many as 4 times. But you quickly get used to them.

Greetings! Yesterday I became the owner of SD-ZB2502. Before her there was Moulinex OW-600230. Bread from Panasonic is tastier and more fluffy, although it takes longer to bake, but the advantages of Panasonic are MORE. The fact that the body is made of stainless steel, so even visually in size, this device looks smaller than 2501. I baked French and custard rye according to a recipe book, I really liked it! Delicious! I bought it for 7090 rubles. The stove is just CLASS !!!! I thought at first to take 2501 for 6000, but only +1000 for all sorts of usefulness and design did not regret it. I recommend to all!

I began to quietly hate my previous bakery precisely for this. And at the first opportunity I got rid of it.

I bake mostly at night, I put it on the timer and by 7 in the morning so that the bread is ready - so I can't hear it in my sleep. And if I bake in the afternoon, then at least this sound will show that the HP is working, otherwise it is not heard at all.

I completely agree with you! When I put the chdebushek in the evening, or in the afternoon, then after the yeast dispenser has triggered, I go to control the bun. It's like a signal for me - go, they say, check what is mixing up there, maybe add something ...

Friends, sorry for the tediousness.

It seems that I decided to take 501, but then I read that it does not have the function of a French baguette.
Is it really so?

Also, does the 501 have a bake delay like the 502?

I promise these are the last questions.
niamka
You really can't bake a baguette, but they say it's better to bake it in the oven, and knead the dough in KhP. And there is a timer in 501.

These are the last questions, I promise.
No tediousness. Normal thorough investigation of the situation.
Let's go in reverse order.

There is a deferral for the main bread programs in all Panasonic products. There is no deferral for the bake program (ie.a separate function) and, it seems, for "fast" bread (that's why it is fast, so that you can immediately cook without delay).

What is a "French baguette"? The "French" mode is available in all Panasonic models. It is baked in a Panasonic bucket shape. If we are talking about a baguette as a form, then it will have to be presented with the help of hands and baked in the oven. "French baguette" is only in moulinex, but these are not loaves, but rather buns, which also need to be molded by hand, and then laid out in specials. a stand that is placed inside the bread machine instead of a bucket.
Dormidontov
Niamka, Rina link? Thank you!

Of course, I'm interested in French Baguette, as a kind of bread, and the shape, that's all later.
Panas 2502
I still can't get used to the "shots" of the dispenser, because of this I didn't even want to try on the timer, but I tried it and didn't hear anything (although I sleep lightly), but the dispenser doesn't wake me up
I'm interested in something else, but can I bake in this model with sourdough or fresh yeast?
Rina
it is possible, only yeast or sourdoughs will have to be immediately placed in a bucket. I have already described more than once (Mona1 too) how I bake in dough with fresh yeast. The bread is extremely tasty with all the simplicity of the ingredients.

Take a basic recipe for wheat, say, 500 g of flour. This amount will require 7-10 grams of fresh yeast (calculating 1.5-2 grams of yeast for every 100 grams of wheat flour).

Yeast, half flour, half water, 0.5 sec. l. put the salt in a bucket, put on the "pizza" mode for 15 minutes. Then you reset the program, add the rest of the ingredients to the bucket (the second half of the flour and water, the remaining salt, oil, sugar, if you use it), set the "main" program with the addition of two hours (or you may not add, but this will be decided by own experience and capabilities). It would be nice if the flour was 1 or 2 grades

or you can simply crumble fresh yeast to the bottom of the bucket, pour flour on top and add all the other products, start the desired program. Nothing happens to the yeast during the flattening time.

Hurrah! Take me, too, into the friendly ranks of bakers. I bought 2502 a week ago, all this time and long before that I hung here, studying tips and tricks. In the store, the seller also praised the Bork X500, but when he came home and read the reviews, he still stopped at Panas, which she did not regret. On the first day I baked basic bread, it turned out wonderful, then more. Behind the French and Darnitsky. Everything worked out, over time, not only the appearance, but also the taste of real bread appears. Now Orlovsky is baked with rye, because rye is more respected at home, but so far I don't really feel the state of the kolobok, but I believe that everything will come. I got used to the yeast dispenser quickly, it actually at least shows that the process is going on. Now I understand that you can do without it, but I liked the appearance of 2502 more, what to do, the woman loves with her eyes.

And, by the way, Panasonic has a pizza mode. Now you can manually make the dough in HP when you buy it. And I regularly make dumplings on the Pelmeni mode, it comes out very good. The stove will knead, then I let it stand for 40 minutes, then I take it out and cut it up.

very convenient, especially when the recipe is in development, so to speak. They baked it, it seemed like a little or a lot. In the next. just looked at the leaflet, how many grams there were and corrected. They wrote it down again. And so on until there is a shirt in a shirt. And then all these changes do not hold in my head, especially if you try different recipes. I slightly altered this recording form for myself, made it in a verd and periodically print a certain amount on a printer. If anyone wants, you can send me your e-mail in a personal message, I will send this verdovsky file, use it for health. I hope Brads will not be offended, thanks to him again for this great idea.

Dear friends! Finally, I bought a bread maker. I decided to take the 501 model after all.

Yesterday I went and bought it. While my wife was not at home, I decided to bake bread for her arrival.
I bought flour and yeast, carefully read the instructions and recommendations on the forum.

By advice Riny, tested the yeast by dissolving it in water. But they didn't bubble up. I went to the store again and bought more yeast. Now I bought them all in a packet, there were three of them. Dissolved again, but they did not bubble. I decided to use the freshest ones.
Nothing to do, put all the components in the vedeco and pressed the button. Having read on the forum about failures in baking the first bread, I did not really count on a good result.
I thought, if the bread doesn’t work out, I’ll hide it and feed it to the birds the next day, and seal the stove and give it to my wife, like a new one.
Several times I opened the lid and saw a small bun, then sat down to work, and forgot about the stove.
When I remembered, the cycle time was up. I opened the lid and saw this miracle.

Soon, my wife arrived. At first she did not believe that I baked bread myself, she thought that I was playing a trick on her.
The bread is delicious. I cut it while still hot.

Now the wife is studying the instructions. Wants to register here and communicate with bread pros.

And I will act as a taster.

I want to thank everyone for their advice and help in purchasing a bread maker.
It's good that there are such kind people and such a necessary forum.

I wish everyone a successful baking!
