Olga VB
Marina, if at first it is easy to even grind it somewhere with a mortar, even in the same sieve, then then with the smooth side up, it will quickly wipe, even to an almost completely clean sieve.
Marinuly
Olga VB, Ol, and the grains will not slip down in this case?
VRad
And how does everyone get used to cleaning - dumping rubbed residues from the bottom of the sieve into the bowl? I recently wiped 200 grams of raspberries, so my disc, along with the grains, jumped out and fell into the bowl when I tilted the sieve strongly
Maybe first you need to throw out the grains, scoop out?
night_furia
VRad, Valeria, I slightly tilt the sieve, gently throw the leftovers into the bowl with a spatula, which goes to the ice cream maker and food processor. I don't press hard on the disc, otherwise it will rise up. When I throw off the bulk of the remnants from below and nothing hangs or drips from the disc, then I take out the disc and clean the rest.

Has anyone encountered an uneven pressing of the locking pin into the nozzle shank? I couldn't find it now, but it seems like someone wrote that there was a crooked pin in the hook and because of this, the nozzle was difficult to remove and I had to take the whole car to the service. We also have a crooked pin in the hook, I took a few photos, see who understands.

This is what the shank of the nozzle looks like, with the naked eye you can see that the pin is uneven. I measured it with a caliper, the difference in distance from the end of the shank to the ends of the pin was about 0.3 mm.

This is the angle obtained when compared with the perpendicular.

Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments

Today we used this hook for the first time, kneaded the yeast dough according to the program, and after one application, a rather noticeable dent remained on the shank in a circle, noticeable in the photo.

Kenwood kitchen machine: working with attachments

When the nozzle is installed in the socket, it is also noticeable that the pin is uneven - in the photo you can see a gap on one side.

What would you advise to do in my situation? I don't want to drag the whole car to the service because of one hook, and one hook is unlikely to be changed without looking at how it is put into the nest (and in general they can say that everything works fine, what are the claims). It's just scary that such a curved pin can eventually break the seat in the car's nest. Of course, I myself can grind the pin a little on both sides until it is even, but it will eventually become thinner, and in general, there must be some kind of civilized solution to the problem so that you can do without "battering"
Tan_ch
suigeneris, my photos are not displayed, but most likely you have read about my car, they don’t take the hook separately to the service center, only the whole car. In addition to replacing the hook, we also changed the gearbox (if I'm not confused, the documents are not available now). The car was under repair for almost a month.
In addition to fixing the pin with improvised means, I was also advised here to use a pin from another nozzle or the one that additionally goes to the soufflake (nozzle 512).
Marinuly
suigeneris, try writing to the claims department if you bought a car at Cookingshef.
On the box shop @ and in the subject line indicate "For the complaints department". Indicate the purchase date, model, order number and contact phone number for feedback. Describe your problem and attach a photo. Good luck!
I don’t remember who, but it worked. There in my opinion there were disks, replaced without problems.

You recently bought a car, it should work!
suigeneris
I uploaded the photos to my gallery and edited the previous post, but the site squeezed them and the quality is now so-so. But all the same, it is more or less clear what the speech is about.

In addition to replacing the hook, we also changed the gearbox.
We have a car in use for only a week, I think that everything is in order there with the gearbox) And I don't want to be left without it for the New Year holidays.

Quote: Tan_ch
use a pin from another nozzle
We have all the attachments from the KM kit and there are no spare pins for them. In addition, the pin does not unscrew from the hook, there the shank with the nozzle is one whole.

Yes, I'm a cookie chef. I bought it, thanks, I'll try to write to them tonight. They didn’t answer me yet about the 5-year guarantee, but I already wrote to the support on the Delongi website - I could not register the guarantee, because the site asks for a serial number of 19 characters, and I have 18 on my machine.
Marinuly
suigeneris, Miranda can tell you about registration.
My protective cover was changed 14 days after purchase. But I made an agreement with the manager by phone, although I also wrote to them, but simply by mail, without indicating that to the complaints department.
suigeneris
Marinuly, wrote them a letter in the mail with photos, let's see what they answer. Well, or if they don't answer within tomorrow, I'll try to call them on Tuesday. Then as there will be an answer from them, I will throw off what they wrote here.
Marinuly
suigeneris, be persistent! The car is new and expensive!
I know for sure that they have all sorts of attachments, hooks, and even more pins in their warehouse.
Good luck!

Marinuly, Marina, I grinded by setting down a disc with large holes, up with small holes. She put small things with the rough side up. Perhaps I needed a smooth one, so I'll also wait for the answers, suddenly it's better in a different way.
I grind all the berries on a sieve with small holes. Rough side up - it turned out more efficiently. I did not try to put two at once, I did not quite understand the idea.
Although, as an option - you can try - and compare the result.
I rub mainly red currants. I tried black - there was a big retreat. She began to make on a Korean mixer.
Raspberries are perfectly wiped - In winter, the bones were very annoying. Now it's great. If there were blackberries and cloudberries, it would also be great.
I rubbed the cottage cheese - also on a fine one - with the smooth side up.
Marinuly
Zvezda askony, Anna, Thank you!
Tan_ch
Zvezda askony, if some bones make their way through the first lattice, then they remain between the small and large.

Hello! Received my first car today, Chef Sence. Help with advice, please. Are all of this dishwasher safe?
- Metallic. bowl, splash lid, whisk
- nozzle food processor KAH647 with all components and disks
- nozzle for cutting into cubes KAX400 with all components except the lid.

(I took a picture of all this, but I can't insert a photo here).
The instructions say you can't wash some kind of transmission mechanism for cutting with cubes, as I understood this there is a metal pin in its cover, then I will wipe this cover. And it was said not to wash some kind of connector in the processor, that I did not understand it.
Miranda
Medeya, the cutter must not be washed in the cutter.
Pictures here

KM Kenwood. Directory. #14

The axle cannot be washed in the food processor (also a gearbox)

Everything else can be washed. Either way, in the dishwasher.

suigenerisHow was your question resolved?
Have you answered your claim?
suigeneris
Marinuly, not immediately, but after the second letter was answered. They said that you need to contact the local SC so that they write an act of repairability, if there is an act, they promised to change it. I called the SC, they said come and see, I'm going to go on Saturday.

suigeneris, the manager from the store told me something else.
You need to call the hotline, from there the master will come and draw up an act. Then with this act to the store. And you don't need to call local SCs, they don't come home.
The hotline telephone number is located at the top of the warranty card (8 800 200 52 62).
Something like that.
suigeneris
Marinuly, I think that about the arrival of the master is only relevant for Moscow / St. Petersburg, it was even separately written about it when registering the guarantee on the site. And I live in Penza, we have one certified SC for the whole city.

Unfortunately this is the case! Good luck to you!
suigeneris
Marinuly, Thank you) Then I will write how it ended, but most likely it will be after NG. Holiday greetings!
Marinuly
suigeneris, be sure to write.
And you with the coming!

If not difficult. link to the post on how to adjust the whisk height.
Because I've always made shortbread dough in my little kenwood. it was not necessary. And today I had to make a lot of dough for the alfajores and I realized that the whisk had to be lowered.
I tried to search the forum m with keywords, but for some reason nothing was found.
And another question - does anyone have experience of chopping quince and pumpkin on a cube cutter?
My raw pumpkin went very badly. due to the fact that there are fibers closer to the middle.
night_furia
leostrog, I cut pumpkin, zucchini and persimmons raw into cube cutters. I remove the seeds with the bulk of the fibers from the pumpkin and zucchini, but what remains does not bother me, because it turns out that I basically throw in the hard part.
leostrog
night_furia... Thank you. It means that these fibers must be cut off.

Raw quince, peeled from the skin and the middle with hard parts, is finely chopped. The jam has already been eaten.

link to the post on how to adjust the whisk height.
Place a sheet of paper in 4-8 folds on the bottom of the bowl and lower the whisk on it until it stops.
Actually, all planetary attachments are the same, except for the hook.
Good luck!
leostrog
Yes. but how is this very lowering regulated?
I didn’t read my instructions and I stuck it at home so that you won’t find it.
Olga VB
Look for a wrench in the kit, release the nut on the pin with it and unscrew the pin from the body of the rim to the desired distance right in the bowl until the whisk rests on the paper at the bottom. Then fix this new position again with the nut.
Run at maximum speed in an empty bowl, check that there is no beating. If everything is normal, tighten the nut tightly with a wrench, if it breaks, then tighten it half a turn higher. And so on, until you find the correct position.
Good luck!

Olga VB... thanks for the help.
I hardly found this key. It's good that I didn't throw it away. I was sure it was for a washing machine. and then looked closely. that on the attached piece of paper and on the key itself is written Kenwood.
I'll try to adjust it myself or I'll ask someone (if the screw is tight).
OlgaBrolga
Forgive me if I repeat myself, I can’t find the answer to my question, probably this one has not been asked yet. I plan to buy a "grain mill" attachment, but I have never ground flour and thought suddenly, in fact, there would be a lot of fuss and it would be better to buy ready-made flour. Before grinding, the cereals must be washed, then dried somewhere (where? Maybe in the oven? But what about the useful properties then? Or maybe there are some drying devices for cereals?), If dried on a towel, then it will dry for a long time (I remember that somehow I decided to grind a complementary food for a baby and all this dried for me for a day ...) After all, you can't put wet cereals into this mill. Who knows the solution - help to solve the "problem". Or is it not all that complicated? Tell us how you do it
Z. Y. I don’t bake bread, but in principle I think it’s a useful thing, because 2 children, you can make all sorts of cookies, for example, each time from different flour, like useful, varied ... if the grinding process is really not tiring.
Oktyabrinka
OlgaBrolga, look at here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...k=view&id=1441&Itemid=296 ... Miranda made such a detailed, wonderful review exactly on the mill to Kenwood.

And I just wanted to give a link, inside there is a link to buckwheat.
I do not wash the groats, I sort out buckwheat.

Dried almonds have not yet been ground.
I regularly grind buckwheat and corn grits.

So you have a gorgeous Uvelka buckwheat flour there! When she's at the store. always buy.
It makes the most wonderful buckwheat buns.
Miranda
leostrog, except for flour, I make a cut for my mother, because in stores there is nonsense, and not a cut - a coarse grinding, and the price is for 2 kg. buckwheat.
leostrog
Oh, I get it.
Miranda
leostrog, well, flour is also more expensive.
But most importantly, I like the process

Can you please tell me, in the store they sell the KAH950 meat grinder, will it fit my Kenwood 096? If it fits, is there a sausage attachment?
By the way, who lives in Moscow and the region in Nlobus sell nozzles for chips multi-chopper, blender, meat grinder, tesio-sheeter, and for fettuccine
Miranda
elenas, only through the adapter.
There are nozzles for sausages, they are hidden in the pusher.

About the Globe in the course
elenas
Thank you, I bought an adapter for a cube cutter, apparently it will do. Eh, the toad was choking me today, I bought baits in Germany
Miranda
elenas, I also bought a blender not so long ago, more expensive than in Globus. The truth is not fatally more expensive, but the toad doesn't care

The rest I bought a long time ago, or are not needed (for example, a meat grinder is not needed at all), so the toad did not react.
zvezda
elenas, which city are you from? Can we swing?
elenas
And I'm from the Moscow region, I did not buy a meat grinder, I think if I need it if I have a very good Panasonic. It's just tempting for that kind of money, it beckons to buy something, though the Globe is in my next town, I need to go
anna_k
The meat grinder for me was just lovely. I don't use it often, but I don't need to pull out something separate, the base is always on the table.

Mother-in-law bought a mulinex meat grinder and vegetable cutter, so the body there is quite a bit smaller than my Kenwood Sense
leostrog
I want to say (although maybe I'm "reinventing the wheel"):
For those who have a juicer, it is very good to use it for making vegetable cutlets and pies.
I skip the beets / carrots through the juicer. I get separately juice and separately finely chopped vegetables. Putting this together makes a great base for making beetroot / carrot patties or carrot cake.
I often bake this for my granddaughters and it comes in handy for me. that the carrots are small and practically invisible.
And yet - if anyone loves the GOST rye cakes, then you know. that the dough there is very difficult to work with.
The first time I kneaded it with my hands and then my hands hurt a lot.
Yesterday I did this - in one Kenwood chopped flour and butter into a tiny lid. then I poured it into the Kenwood -testomes bowl and kneaded the dough there.
Roll out well with a dough sheeter. because the dough is heavy.

Is the juicer a low speed (screw press) or a high speed (centrifugal) nest?
With the centrifuge, I can't do anything, the porridge falls out into the cake container, and a tablespoon of juice from 0.5 kg of apples ...
And with the help of an old centrifuge, I made potatoes for potato pancakes and zeppelinai. When squeezed potato mass is needed. Now I'm thinking about what kind of attachment.

elenas, yes, Panasonic is a good grinder, but there is no limit to perfection - Kenwood is much better! Here's an excellent option - an exchange with Olga, as I understand it, only augers need to be changed, and if the price is pleasant, then you might think. Good luck!
