Just today I tried to chop nuts, I filmed it.

Not only does it not stir, but also due to the fact that it is wildly heated, oil is immediately melted from the nuts and a paste is obtained instead of friable powder. But at the same time, a whole nut is jumping from above.
Silyavka
Michael, You keep the machine on for a long time, during this time of course there will be paste. Try to turn on the pulse for 2-3 seconds, then turn it off for 2-3 seconds, and so on several times.
Miranda
zhariks, we have already written about the impulse above - the key with the letter R.
Try this.
zhariks
What does "long" mean? I keep it on until all the nuts are crushed. It can also be seen that nothing is crushed from above.
I already wrote that I tried it in different ways, and with an impulse as well. The result is about the same.
Silyavka
Michael, it seems that you do not read what they write to you.

My multi-chopper is one of my favorite attachments. I didn't like crushing the nuts in it, like the chocolate. But the instructions say - not for oily / oily products. But pesto, already with butter, cheese and nuts, well, and grass - great. And various pesto-like sauces. And spicy herbs for the salad. I put a lot of it, of course, it is not as fluffy as from under the knife, but not porridge, it suits me - so much more useful herb is added to salad / vegetable caviar. And, most importantly, do not cut it with your hands! Pulse for a second, then 4 seconds at low speed, then a few seconds at high speed. The greens should be dried - just wring out in a paper towel.
And nuts, chocolate, cheese - on a low-speed attachment, if you need a significant amount. Actually, I didn't like to grind anything else in it.
zhariks
I don't have much volume for pesto. I made pesto in a blender. For salad, a bunch of greens is faster with a knife. There, the size and quality of the slices are not critical. And to wash this glass because of the salad without "soaking the bottom" part is still a perversion.
Olga VB
Michael, I didn't understand this:
Quote: zhariks
washing this glass because of the salad without "soaking the bottom" part is still a perversion.
There in the "cups" everything can and even needs to be washed. And it is quite convenient.
What "bottom" are you afraid to dunk?
zhariks
The instructions say that you cannot wet the lower part of the base (the one with the knife). And to wash it without soaking it is still an adventure.
Olga VB
It seems to me that you have confused something. You can wet and wash everything in the mini-chopper nozzle - the jars themselves, lids, gum, a knife and a base for a knife.
It is undesirable only then to put this base and the knife wet on the machine seat. That is, calmly and thoroughly washed, dried or wiped off and then calmly use.
Good luck!

I cleaned up the topic, I will no longer allow squabbles and I will no longer warn.
I emphasize: healthy criticism and personal opinions in the topic are welcome. An unfriendly tone and self-talk is unacceptable.
If you will be zealous in swearing, I will ban you.

zhariks
I didn't mess anything up. Unfortunately now I am not at home and it is not convenient to copy instructions from the PDF. I will quote in my own words. In clause 2, regarding washing the blade assembly, it is written: "wash taking care not to wet the underside of the impeller knife." If necessary, I can make a screenshot of the instructions on Monday. But in principle, it is available on the Internet: whoever needs it can read it themselves
Silyavka
Michael, even if you wet it, it will dry out. This means that you cannot use wet. I disassemble mine completely and wash it completely. I use it after it is completely dry, but about the walnuts ... Try to dry them first in a pan.
zhariks
Yes, everything is clear that it will dry out. But according to the INSTRUCTIONS, it is not recommended to wet. I can assume that due to the fact that the springs inside from moisture can rust.
And I ALWAYS pre-fry the nuts. It's kind of a standard ...
lady inna
Michael, before grinding in electric grinders, it is recommended to hold the nuts in the freezer - then they do not release oil so quickly. If the nuts are the basis for the dough, it is also recommended to grind them with some of the sugar from the recipe. According to the instructions, it is really forbidden to wet the knife base - I do not do this, and this moment is somewhat annoying.
I, too, have not yet made friends with the chopper. I just have a Kenwood chopper, in which the same nuts fly freely and don't heat up so quickly. And for very small portions, such as sprinkle nuts for dessert, - a mechanical grinder Status (thing!) Powdered sugar could not be grinded to the state of the factory, and it turns out very little. And I prefer to procure it for future use. With the same result, but with a larger output volume, I use a glass blender. In general, there is something to compare with.
Probably, the mini-chopper is good for mothers with small children, when they have to grind a couple of spoons of complementary foods from a varied children's menu. Store and reheat in the same eco-friendly glasses. Well, or all sorts of sauces, mayonnaise in small volumes to do. But then again, almost everyone has hand blenders that are much easier to use. The coffee machine grinds the coffee, and most of the spices in the mills. In general, in my particular (I emphasize) case, the seemingly multifunctional attachment turned out to be out of work yet.

Silyavka, you have a good year in your photo And what do you do with them then?
Silyavka
Elena, I add fresh fried green tomatoes to both soup and stewed potatoes, this year I dried it for the first time, I plan to use it in the same way as fresh. They underwent heat treatment, the corned beef disintegrated, so they should not taste bitter. I tried it on my tongue, the taste is sweetish. The smell is pleasant, winter will pick up everything.

Galina, I haven't used a fotik for a long time, I forgot to set the date. I apologize .

Girls and boys, I honestly searched, but somehow I did not find consistent reviews about the ice cream maker for Kenwood.
Poke where you discussed. You are welcome. Or answer who is happy. Those who are unhappy - too.
Thanks in advance!

Further, there are also several places.
At one time, there were many complaints that ice cream makers often go defective, refrigerant leaks out of them, since the bowl is rather fragile, at the slightest impact, the tightness can be broken.
You can, of course, then use it simply as a spare bowl, but it is not bought for that.
I do not know if the situation has improved now, since there have been no messages about this for a long time.
I already wrote to you that I personally preferred the freezer.

M @ rtochka , there are such.I doubted for a long time, decided not to take it, but a case turned up, did not fit my acquaintances, they bought it for the Major, and they had the Chief, gave it for symbolic money. And so, before the cold snap, almost a month and a half, she pleased the grandchildren with excellent ice cream. I wish you success!

Michael, I read your talks yesterday ...
I want to say that no one and anyone here pays for anything, and even more so for advertising Kenwood.
I will cite as an example myself, a sick head, which had a lot of Kenwoods in stock.
In general, Kenwood with all the attachments does not suit me, because I cannot get the desired result, but ... But I read the topic with pleasure and dream of getting hotter using this device. what if it pokes? ...
For me, such a cheap manual Boshik does now for me much more and more efficiently than this Pretzel.
But ... "Don't you like cats? You just don't know how to cook them!" ...

As soon as she got Kenwood out of the closet, he stood in exile for more than 5 years. Tired of pressing the button manually on Boshik.
Now I'm thinking, will the attachments fit my old man?

Elenochka Nikolaevna, and what model? 5 years for Kenwood is so, a sedate man, and not an old man.

Strangely, Bosch's base with knives can be washed and even in the dishwasher, there is even a special protective mesh for washing in the dishwasher.
I don’t think that this knot is fundamentally different, it’s all made the same way ...

It is possible, but you need to find a master who is friendly with TIG welding.
And the price of the issue should be low - several hundred rubles.
Miranda
Cacktus, foreign manufacturers in the instructions are reinsured, so that later they will not be sued for this or that. They have excessive safety prescribed, sometimes even absurd, such as not drying pets in the microwave.

Quite possible. Some are easier to prohibit, others are quite allowed.

It is quite loyally written there that it is not recommended to wet it, and if it is wet, then wipe it off. Which is exactly what we are doing.

Bosch has done much smarter.
By the way, the disadvantage of the AT320 is the absence of marks (arrows) for installation on the base and guides on the nest. You have to twist it on all planes back and forth to get there. Bosch usually has these patterns wherever possible. It seems like a trifle, but it greatly simplifies life.

The instruction is rather unwisely written. After all, there is no prohibition on chopping liquid products, therefore, from the side of the knives, this unit tolerates moisture, on the other side there is also nothing "sugar".

I myself made such pictures for the bowl and all the stirrers, just not for "aiming", of course, but for a more perfect coincidence of their geometries, - I wrote about this above.
And for cups, processor, blender, etc. I don’t make any pictures - it is enough for me to look at the socket and at the docking unit of the attachment before installing in order to “aim” correctly right away. By and large, this is no more difficult than looking for pictures.
Good luck!

Cacktus, and you held it in your hands? After all, there is not only a pulley, but a spring mechanism, fastening screws, a lot of winding cavities where water can get. You can't wipe out the water inside.
Even without reading the instructions yet, I immediately thought that I would not bathe this mechanism in water. In the English-language manual it is clearly written "keep the underneath of the unit dry" (keep the bottom of the unit dry), and in Russian "wash ..., being careful not to get wet." And this is no reinsurance: there is something to rust. And even if it was wiped off from the outside, you don't use the nozzle wet inside for the subsequent operation. So you have to wash with care. However, everyone is free to dispose of their things according to their own understanding)

Perhaps, only it seems to me that stainless steel has been used everywhere for such nodes for a long time.
I just looked with a flashlight and a magnifying glass.
There are 3 springs and 3 screws inside, everything is clearly stainless steel, and not in a hidden installation, but completely open. So it's all well aired, and dries quickly, and under no circumstances should it rust. The main thing is that nothing should flow from there into the nest in streams. And if a couple of drops drips, then nothing will get inside the car due to the design of the landing nests
So there should be no crime if water is not poured onto the car in liters.
Good luck!

Off, of course, but I don't know where else to ask, I wrote to the boss, does not answer. Tell me how to correctly place an ad for a sale in a flea market. I used to serve it somehow, but now it doesn't work. I press "new topic" - an empty field opens, as for a regular post. And there, in fact, on the side of the text should still be "price", "state", etc. How can you open such a field? Already completely muddled in search. Help!

Here again, why do you justify the manufacturer. Well, the fact is that there are no pictures, the fact is that it would be more convenient with them. For example, I'm uncomfortable, I have to twist this attachment here and there to aim. Yes, it's a trifle, but it's a manufacturer's flaw. Taking into account the fact that both the harvester and the attachments did not get for free, I do not consider it acceptable to forgive the manufacturer.Especially considering that there are plenty of competitors.

so I probably have something wrong with the knife, thanks. Yesterday I rubbed the carrots, everything is quick and easy, but a thin shredder for cabbage, just torment, while I cut one head, the knife gets hot from the fact that I press it hard, the cabbage is warm at the exit).

Cabbage is perfectly nibbled on a thick shredder. And chop the onion on it. The size suits me. On the thin one I also have one torment.

What shredder are you talking about? Please show me which shredder is suitable for cabbage and which cabbage is the result?

Cabbage is produced in thin strips.
