Raisin roll

Ingredients

Dough:
Wheat flour 320g.
Sugar 100g.
Thick sour cream 100g.
Egg 1 PC.
Butter 100g.
Soda 1 \ 4h l.
Salt 1 \ 4h l.
Filling:
Raisins 1 st.
Sugar 100g.
Cinnamon 1h l.
For lubrication:
Egg 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Sift flour, mix with baking soda.

  • Beat the egg with sugar and salt until sugar is completely dissolved (3-5 min.). Continuing to beat, add butter, sour cream.

  • Add flour. Knead the dough for 20-30 seconds. The acid in sour cream, in contact with soda, forms carbon dioxide, which evaporates with prolonged mixing, which makes the product dense, not loosened.

  • Roll out the dough on a table sprinkled with flour into a rectangle. Do not roll out thinly, the dough will tear when rolling.

  • Mix the ingredients for the filling. Put on dough. Roll up the long side into a roll. Brush with an egg.

  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200C for 20-30 minutes.

  • After cooling, cut the roll into pieces.

  • Fast and tasty sand roll !!!
