Cucumber pickle sourdough.
: DUraaaa! Thank you for the sourdough recipe in Ranasyukh! Is it possible to use hop instead of sourdough in cucumber brine?
MariV
What sourdough is at hand, on that one and bake!

Why is Hercules in the recipe?
MariV
For the taste!

Tried a new starter culture on this recipe. I liked the bread very much. On my sourdough, it is completely sour.

Very well!

It turned out !!!!! I made it according to your recipe, only the leaven was "eternal" wheat. I didn't even include the batch, put on "French hdeb" with a delay (only 8 hours) and went to bed. In the morning, real, tasty-smelling, RISE bread. It is worth cooling down, I will not say about the taste yet.
And then, I missed the peak of the leaven, I thought it was over-acidified and nothing is filling up.

SonyaIvanova, I'm very glad that the recipe came in handy! And from what sourdough - but what difference does it make these little animals, "wild yeast".

I really want to turn it into rye, but I don't know how.

Now it's probably better to read in this topic.

Recently got a bread maker, I want to try your recipe. I ask for experienced advice. Do you grease the bread with something before baking, or does the crispy crust form on its own? For some reason, the top turns out to be soft and pale. Maybe you need to bake longer?
