Ingredients

Leaven 220g
Water 110g
Mayonnaise 50g
Apple (grated) 40g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 0.5 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour* 300g

Cooking method

  • The kneading was done in a dough mixer.

  • Proofing in the oven with the light on.

  • Baking in the oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes in a bread pan (without any lid, humidification, etc.)

  • After baking, covered with a damp towel.

In search of a new bread recipe, I found a very popular recipe in the yeast bread section. Posted by Qween. And since I bake only with sourdough, I thought of baking it with sourdough, completely without yeast.

Hooray, I finally found a sourdough bread recipe that does not add yeast! I still can't understand why it is necessary to grow the leaven for 5-10 days, so that you can pour the yeast again later. I believe in the Power of the leaven. I will definitely try to bake this bread, then I will write off the results. Probably with an apple it will be just super!
