Pie with red currants (Author Ryzhik)

Ingredients

Wheat flour 225 g
Sugar 250 g
Softened butter 200 g
Egg 5 pieces.
Baking powder 2 tsp
Vanilla sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Shabby zest 1/2 lemon
Starch 150 g
Powdered sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Red Ribes 1 kg

Cooking method

  • It is baked on a baking sheet, so the food per baking sheet
  • Wash the currants, put on a towel, let dry and remove the twigs. Beat butter with 150 g sugar and grated zest. Mix 200 g flour with 100 g starch and baking powder. Add 3 eggs to the butter mass one by one, flour mixture (with spoons) Stir thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Grease the baking sheet well with oil. Put the dough on it and flatten. Put red currants on top. Bake on medium oven shelf for 30 minutes. Divide remaining eggs into white and yolk. Beat the egg white until stiff. Mix the yolk with the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Mix the remaining starch with flour and add to the yolk mass together with the whipped egg white. Place the biscuit dough on top of the berries on top of the pie and bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle the currant pie with icing sugar and cut.
