Stewed lentils with bacon and dried cranberries

Ingredients

Lentils red (orange) 200 g
Fresh carrots 1 PC.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Puff bacon (you can puff bacon) 50-100 g
Dried cranberries 2-3 st. l.
Salt pepper taste
Spices for vegetables 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • - Cut bacon into strips. Cut onion into cubes, carrots into cubes.
  • - Put the bacon in a frying pan, simmer a little until transparent, add vegetables, pepper, salt to taste, spices for vegetables - simmer everything a little over medium heat until half cooked.
  • - We transfer the vegetables to a slow cooker, add the washed lentils (do not soak!), Washed cranberries.
  • - Fill with water just above the level of the mixture, mix, add salt.
  • - Set the Extinguishing mode. It takes little time, about 30 minutes.
  • Keep track of readiness - it will be ready quickly!
  • With water, I did not calculate a little, the cereal was a little boiled - but it did not affect the taste!
  • Add some chopped parsley to the finished dish.

Note

Here is such a lentil! I tried the dish cold - also delicious!
